Laurette nodded, but she didn't smile. "I guess so." She said quietly, her gaze dropping to the ground. There was a trail of blood, and it seemed as if it had been there for a really long time. Just how old is this little game? It reeks of death in this house.


(Maybe we just forgot about him or he got distracted? He can catch up, I guess..)

Jake was frozen for a few moments and when he realised that the others had walked off he kind of freaked out "wha? where, what the hell... they have left me behind" he said as he looked the way they had been going before he froze and ran that direction, after a while he finally caught up "why the hell did you leave me behind?"

Laurette turned around, startled by the sudden noise. She had a feeling it was Jake, so she stopped herself from pulling her gun out again. "I'm sorry. We assumed you had come with us, we didn't know you were behind. It's rather dark in here, and I was focused on.. other things." She stopped, letting him catch up, and then continued walking alongside Jake. "We'll be more careful." She said absently, inspecting the walls as they walked.

Jake smiled a bit and then looked behind him "im just glad that i wasn't attacked" he said as he walked beside Laurette and chuckled "i hate this place... and i hate my life for some reason" he said as he looked at the sword "and if im going to die in here... im going to die fighting"

"Hate your life?" She said, giving him a questioning glance. "If you hated your life, wouldn't you want to die? Then it wouldn't have mattered if you had gotten attacked or not, if you wanted to die anyways." She looked away, her gaze falling on a half opened door they has passed. It looked suspicious, but she decided to ignore it.

Jake was a bit confued at first but then he laughed "oh yeah, well im just really anoyed with this bloody house" he looked around and punched the wall "im ready to fight some-thing... i will slice the living or un-living daylights out of them" he said as he sliced the wall "im not going to give up, not until im dead"

Laurette chuckled and winked at him, "Easy tiger, we have to find the people before we start talking about killing them." She said playfully, tugging at his sleeve.

Kisha looked back at them when Jake began to punch and slice the wall. "Hey! Don't do that! What if you freak other...things out and they find us because of your noise?" She acted like she was a little bit frightened at the idea.

Jake began to laugh and smiled "well then i will kill them, i would love to kill something" he said and smiled meniacly "wont that be fun" he said and sliced the wall

"You shouldn't cause such a scene, Kisha is right." Laurette said, looking at the spot on the wall that he had sliced. "Somebody may hear us and attack."

Jake smiled at them both and chuckled "ok... but i mean what i say, you two run and i will fight them off... don't stop running until you are safe" he said and looked at his sword "i will be able to buy all the time you need to run"

Kisha snorted. "Oh please, we don't need a macho man trying to rescue us." She jabbed a finger at Damien. "We get enough of that from him, we don't need two of them. Besides, what makes you think you could fight them off anyway?" She raised an eyebrow.

Laurette giggled quietly, covering her mouth with the back of her hand. "That's what I've been saying," she said in an amused tone, "I can take care of myself just fine. And I would never run away from a fight." As she said that, she smiled slyly. I can't wait for the actual fun to happen.

Damien raised an eyebrow at Kisha. "I am not a macho man. I just know I can beat up stuff when the time comes for it. And as for taking care of both of ya, I think we all know, you girls can take care of yourselves." he said, rolling his eyes. "And by the way, have you ever thought what if the stuff couldn't be killed?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. Then he smirked. "But if you want to be the one to die first, we'll watch."
