Hello future students of Water Lily Academy

you, the students, have been chosen to join this school because of your unique powers. We do hope you will at least attend the tour, if our academy doesn’t please you then you may leave but remember once you leave you are not allowed to return unless the headmaster says otherwise. The Water Lily academy is known for its exceptional dorms and training grounds. I know some of you may think that you won’t fit in at the Water Lily Academy but I can assure you there are people here just like you. Now don’t worry about packing your things, it’s already done and it’s being taken to your dorm as we speak. You also don’t have to drive to Water Lily Academy you will be teleported there once you are done reading this letter. Now back to the matter at hand, when you’re in the Water Lily Academy you don’t have to hide your powers, in fact, we encourage you to use them but just don’t go crazy. We don’t want the school to blow up or anything.


Behind the Water Lily academy is five towers, you will be placed in one of those five towers based on your personality and background.

Towers

The Angelic tower: this tower is for the pure and kind. Every five years the Angelic tower holds the Heart Event, this event is where one person from each of the five towers is chosen to become the leader of their tower,

The shadow tower: This strange gray tower is for bitter and cruel people, this tower has the best fighters than any other so they usually win when there fighting against another tower. The shadow tower doesn’t really participate in any events especial the heart event they may not participate in the heart event but they do show up.

The rose tower: This lovely tower is for the gentle and artistic kind, this tower is in charge of the tours for the new comers. This tower is surprisingly nicer then the angelic tower although the leader of this tower is a bit jealous of the angelic tower because they get the plan the heart event while they plan the halo cup. The halo cup is sort of like the Olympics but a bit more competitive, the halo cup comes once every ten years and everyone look forward to it because it’s the one time they can use all their powers.

The leaf tower: the leaf tower uses there powers to care for and replenish the academy’s huge garden, they also make sure that the leaders of the towers don’t go crazy with power and if they do the leader of the leaf tower can strip them of their power. This tower is peaceful and outgoing; they usually help people in the training ground when there not busy.

The trickster tower: This tower always ruins other people plans, every heart event one of the trickster’s uses their powers to ruin the event. People who are mischievous and wicked get sent to this tower, this tower isn’t in charge of anything because they aren’t very good at planning an event or showing new comers around. This may be one of the worst towers but it has the best fighters than any other tower except for the shadow tower.

What I’m like: I've had a hard life, and I seem to be cursed. I try to make the best with what I have, but I always end up hurting people. I'm a bit standoffish and can be a bit cruel to strangers, but I can be a total sweetheart to those closest to me.

My life: I died at birth, taking my mother with me, but the doctors managed to bring me back with some quick thinking. My father blamed me for my mother's death and abused me for 4 years until he committed suicide, leaving me homeless. I evaded the adoption agency my whole life and lived on the streets with the gangs, who kept me out of trouble. They protected me and taught me different ways to fight. Eventually, my powers were discovered and I became a threat as different groups fought over me. I was used as a weapon and those I thought were friends became immediate enemies. I ran away, using whatever money I had to travel by train across the country. I was found around the age of 15 by the director of a women's arts school who took me in, and taught me many things, such as different dances and even a few weapons. I hid my powers once again, until I was again discovered by an accident that caused the destruction of the school. Finally, I was found about a year ago by someone from the Academy and brought here.

My life: My brother and me have spent a lot of time on the road with my family. We don't like staying in one place because its hard to fit in when your different like us. My brother and I help take care of each other to make things easier on my, our family. As long as its harmless my brother and I will play a prank but we wouldn't ruin anything for anyone. I guess we're kind of childish. Well the important stuff doesn't start till we were ten. That's when our powers appeared, raw and fresh, Armando and I had to train every day to keep them under control. Our parents did the best to keep our powers away from the neighbors afraid of what they might do. In the suburbs of Oregon though it was hard, everyone got in everyone's business. So despite the fact that our dad had a great job we moved. We just kept moving after that, Armando and I were placed on homeschooling till we could get everything under control. When we were thirteen I was on my way home from the store when I started getting hassled by some people. They started spitting words out and thinking horrible things. I got in a fight more out of fear than anger. I was loosing when my brother came and got me out of there. Since then I've been really close to him and he's been supper protective.

My life: Myself and my twin sister have spent most of our lives traveling with family. We don't stay where we aren't wanted and we aren't wanted in a lot of places. My sister and I take care of ourselves for the most part. I like keeping this running smoothly though we can play a good prank once in a while. I guess I'll start when we where ten. That's when our powers showed up and I was busy training with Livianna to keep them under control. Our parents did the best to hide what we could do. In the suburbs of Oregon though it was hard, everyone knew everything. So despite the fact that our dad had a great job we moved. Then we just kept moving, Livianna and myself where put on homeschooling until we had our powers under control. When we were thirteen I almost lost my sister when she got in a fight with a group of people. I don't know what happened really but I arrived in the nick of time. It's okay ^^ we all make mistakes

((okay, this is gonna be me OOC if it's necessary, just so's ya knows. =D I'm gonna get this thang started...))

Second year... Morana looked up at the school that had opened its arms to her, without ever considering whatever trouble she might be for them. She'd learned a bit last year, enough to successfully move on to the next year, though she'd only come in halfway through. Well..it was only the basics, some of which I'd had to teach myself before...

The crowds of students coming in for the new year swarmed toward the entrance, and she followed in her own little bubble. The school had promised that she'd fit in, but it was tough. Her own powers dictated her necessity in the Shadow Tower, but the students there thought she was too soft hearted. She snapped her head up from looking at the ground, suddenly feeling a surge of confidence. This year, I'll show them. I was shy last year, but this time I'll show them I'm strong, too.

She set off toward the dorms, ignoring the fact that she was supposed to be in the Dining Hall. At least being in the Shadow Tower was good for something. She wanted to make sure the few possessions she had made it safely. It still didn't quite sit right with her that other people were handling her things. As she thought about this, wondering if anybody had damaged her things and imagining what kind of journey they took to get here, she hardly realized she'd arrived at the entrance to the Tower. She ran into the door with a soft "umph." Hoping nobody saw, she reached for the doorknob.

It was locked? Well, that's just dandy... She knocked on the door, hoping there was somebody on the other side that could open it, and sat down to wait. She didn't exactly feel like eating right now.

Lucas walked through the Angelic tower hallways, in the form of a black house cat. He kept at it, unnoticed until he got to Ui's room. There he turned back into his human form and knocked on the door twice, letting his blind little sister that it was her older brother. Ui was making small ice sculptures with her hands, when she heard the door she said,"Coming!" And opened the door. Lucas smiled at his little sister and ruffled her already messy hair.
"How's my little sister doing?" He asked, wrapping his arms around himself to keep him warm from the icy cold air that emanated in the room.
Ui closed the door and giggled, her blank blue eyes seem to stare directly at him,"I'm fine, are you sure it's safe for you to be here??" Lucas scoffed at that statement.
"I'm the leader of the Shadow house, why wouldn't it be safe?" He retorted.

Kuro stood on top of the Academy and looked down waiting for all the freshman to come. When she didnt see any she sighed wondering if they threw the letter away before they finished reading it "I do hope they'll show up...it would be ashame if no Freshman came this year" she said to herself. Her mind slowly started to wonder, she rememebered the day she came here as a freshman, there were only a couple freshman that year and not a lot of people liked her for the first few months. she shook her head trying to get rid of any bad thoughts that were runing threw her head, Wait? wasnt i suppose to meet with the leaders of the Shadow and Angelic tower?! Oh well...they can start without me she thought. She sat down and closed her eyes knowing she was going to be here for awhile...Why havent the Freshman come yet?....did they get rid of the letter?....or did the letter get sent to the wrong person? Kuro looked at all the towers behind her and sighed "How i became the leader of the rose tower is beyond me"

Ui looked at the wall blankly,"We should go meet with the Rose leader now...." She said, walking over to the door.
Lucas grabbed her arm,"You can teleport, remember?" She nodded, realizing what he said was true, she held Lucas's hand and they disappeared, reappearing outside, near the front of the school.
"Yo, locked out?" Lucas asked Mohana,"I got some keys...."
Ui looked around blindly,"Lucas? Where did you go?!" She called out, trying to sense his vibrations in the ground, instead she felt Kuro's. She looked up at the top of the school,"Hey! Are you the leader of the Rose tower??"

Time passed in a rather obnoxious way as she sat in silence. He bottom was starting to hurt and there wasn't even a ticking clock out here to fill up the silence. She was in some of her more comfortable clothes, thank goodness. Otherwise she might have considered ripping some fabric for better comfort. Thank the gods for sweatpants... she thought with a smile.

"Yo, you locked out?" someone asked as they walked over. She looked up, a little startled by the sound of someone else.

"Er...ya..." she said, taking note of the Shadow Leader holding up the spare keys. "Thanks.."

She waited as he unlocked the door for her and opened it. As she stepped through the entrance into the Tower commons, something rushed out from under her foot with several squeaks. She quickly turned and caught a glimpse of a rat hurrying away down the hall. Glaring after it, she swung the door shut and ran up to her room. That rat had only increased the anxiety she felt.

Sure enough, she entered her dorm and found quite a mess. Her trunk was open and clothes were flung everywhere. There were things scattered across the floor. Things like her jewelry and makeup, and a few baubles she's acquired in the past. Taking a deep breath, she got to picking everything up. I'm gonna find that rat.... Everything was accounted for, and nothing was damaged, so that was good. Probably someone from the Trickster Tower...those good for nothing...

The air crackled as she thought about the rat, and that he may have been from the Trickster Tower and how he had messed with HER stuff. What was with that? They couldn't have messed with anyone else? If they wanted to pick a fight...or..maybe because they knew she wasn't one to get into fights like a lot of the other students...

"That does it!" she shouted, throwing her last dress into the trunk and closing it with a slam. Someone was going to pay. This year, nobody was going to make fun of her or pick on her. Especially not the Tricksters. She would put up with a lot from her own Tower, and even from the others...but that rat had crossed the line. The air crackled more violently as she stomped her way over toward the Trickster Tower.

Lucas chuckled, and walked back to Ui, who was staring up on the top of the school building,"Ui, what are you looking at? Well, what are you doing?"
Ui tried to point at Kuro, but she was off by a few feet,"She's probably the leader of the Rose Tower...."
Lucas looked up as well,"Where?.....Ah, I see...You're a few feet off there Ui." He said, and started to take his shirt off.
"You better not be doing that when the freshmen are coming!" Ui warned, which made Lucas put his shirt back on.

Kuro stood up and streched, she had this strange feeling people were watching her but when she looked around she didnt see anyone. She sighed and jumped into the Academy's garden, she wasnt a memeber of the leaf tower but she still helped take of the garden. She looked at all the dead plant and frowned "looks like the leader of the leaf tower hasnt been taking care of this garden latley" she said. she closed her eyes and shook her head, suddenly all the plants started to glow...with in seconds every plant was alive and well. When she opened her eyes she looked around and smiled "That looks much better"

The Trickster Tower was located on the opposite side of school, which was likely more than coincidence if you considered the nature of either Tower. This made the walk a little longer, but she refused to lose her steam. She wasn't going to do anything, really. Just deliver a warning. It was bad enough she was looked down on by her own Tower, but she didn't need it from the Tricksters.

The air crackled with increased ferocity as she dwelt on this. She passed by the garden, with an increased sense of determination that manifested in a physical form through small sparks of energy passing through her hair. She was losing grip on herself, and she hardly noticed as she drew life energy from the plants in the garden as she walked by into the next building, causing half of them to droop again.

Kuro looked at Morana and sighed, she quickly appeared in front of her making her stop "Come now...i just braught those plants back to life....theres no need to kill them again" she said as she gave life to the flowers again "So....where are you heading? shouldnt you be in the dining hall?" she asked. She wanted to hear what she was goning to say but she had to meet with Ui and Lucas...now. She sighed and walked toward the Angelic tower "Just please dont kill those flowers...again" she said with out looking back.

"Neh, she's gone, I'll take you back," While holding her hand, Lucas guided the blind Ui all the way to the Angelic Tower.
"Thank you Lucas-nii!" Ui said. Lucas was about to answer, but he spotted Kuro, Finally found her... He thought, as he half dragged Ui with him to get to Kuro.
"Hey Kuro!" He called out,"Ui and I have been looking for you everywhere!" He yawned, already tired.
"Oh, Kuro? Is that you?" Ui said, reaching out blindly.

Kuro looked at Ui and laughed nervously "Yeah, it's me...sorry i was talking to Morana" she said as she scratched the back of her head and looked back at the garden to see if the flowers were dead or not. "Hey, did you guys see any freshman?" she asked as she looked around too see if any where walking around trying to find their tower Ugh...where are they? i was looking forward to the tour she thought as a frowned slowly appeared on her face.

The Rose Tower Leader, who had been tending to the garden, brought Morana to a halt. She stood quietly, listening to her. "Come now, I just brought those plants back to life. There's no need to kill them again," she said as she revived the plants. Morana looked back to the garden, watching the plants that she had killed liven up again. She really hadn't meant to, but when she got angry, she tended to lose sight of what she was actually doing.

"So...where are you heading? Shouldn't you be in the Dining Hall?" she asked. Morana was about to answer, but the girl walked off with a seeming sense of importance. "Just please don't kill those flowers...again.." she stated without looking back.

Alright...she thought as she tried to remember the girl's name. She had been introduced when she first came here, but they weren't in the same Tower or any classes and never really ran into each other much. Well...it'll come back later, I'm sure.. she thought, continuing on her way toward the Trickster Tower.

She'd lost a lot of the anger, but that was probably for the best. She just wanted to make sure nobody messed with her stuff anymore. She came up to the door and gave it a good knock.

"It was her!" someone shouted from further in and another opened the door. "She's the one who attacked me! Nearly squashed me while I was just a harmless little rodent! And she's back for more!" The boy at the door looked back into the room with a questioned look, then back at Morana with a glare.

She clenched her fists at this outright lie. "I did no such thing! That rat was snooping around in my dorm!"

Shouts erupted from within, and someone threw a knife at her through the now fully open door.
She exploded. Lightning surged out from the space around her, catching the knife, then dropping it as she took a deep breath and, quieting her temper, caused the lightning to disappear. The room was quiet. "Stay out of the Shadow Dorms," she said with a glare and turned away.

"Oh," Ui responded, then broke into a smile,"That's fine, and I haven't felt any new vibrations yet....maybe they turned around when they got here?" She suggested.
Lucas shook his head,"Impossible, why in the world would they do that?!" He muttered to himself,"Anyways, maybe they appeared earlier and someone else took them to the Dining hall?" Even to him that sounded stupid.
Ui cocked her head,"I guess we're going short on students this year huh......"

"Th-The... Shadow Dorm?" A boy dragging a large sword and wheeling along a suitcase approached the gloomy, depressing tower. "Do I really, have to stay here?" Seth took a deep breath and entered the tower, walking up some stairs and down a hall, he approached the room with his number on it. "At least I have my own room..." Seth mumbled under his breath, laying his sword against the wall and putting his suitcase on the bed. "Im-Im gonna go walk around then..." Leaving his room, with a weird tugging on his stomach he walked slowly down the halls - avoiding the looks of passer-byers. Walking out side he wandered aimlessly and came across a beautiful garden. "These flowers... are, pretty.." Seth caressed one of the flowers and took in a deep breathe of its sweet fragrance.

"Ya think you're gonna keep us away, just like that!? Tch...if you came here, you must have been looking for a fight!" the boy in the room called after, making her stop.

"I don't want to fight on the first day," she said with a smile.

"What an excuse! We know you, MORONa! You don't fight with anyone! What a sorry excuse for a Shadow Student! Right, guys? A Shadow can't even fight for herself! Howw saddd"

She turned around and crossed her arms over chest. She really didn't look very menacing in her sweatpants and baggy T-shirt. She looked more like some girl who had been rudely awoken two hours earlier than she'd have liked. The boys in the room laughed at this, resulting in a crackling spreading through the air.

Shayne walked up to the school slowly, dragging his feet. Those good for nothing parents. Always fighting...then just sending him off at the first chance they get. Heh. They were probably thrilled when the letter arrived. Thrilled to get rid of him, the burden holding them back from their lives.

"What is this school, anyway? A place for delinquents? I'm either late, or there are very few students here...." he whispered to himself. "Well, not like it matters.." Whether it's a few people or many people, they're all tools anyway... he added silently to himself.

"Oh Kuro look, there's someone," Lucas said, pointing at Shayne.
"Really?! I wanna meet him!" Ui exclaimed, then she felt large vibrations resound through the ground, followed by crackling,"What was that!?"
"It's probably the Trickster Tower again, tch, stupid, good-for-nothing idiots." Lucas muttered,"I'll be right back, watch Ui for me will ya Kuro?" With that he ran off.

He saw Morona and the tricksters teasing her, so he decided to help,"Hey, is there a problem here?" He suddenly had a fierce aura, unlike the warm one he had with Ui just a few mere seconds ago. He looked pissed off and like he woke up a few minutes ago. His frown deepened,"Something you tricksters wish to explain?" He spat, emphasizing tricksters since they have pissed him off at least every day.

Kuro looked at Seth and smiled "Just be gentle! i worked hard on those flowers" she yelled so he would be able to hear her "okay, come on Ui" she said as she disappeared with Ui and appeared in fornt of the school "Welcome! to water lily academy!" she said with a soft smile on her face as she looked at Shayne, when she heard what he thought she frowned "Now why would you think something like that? these people here arent tools...and no...this academy is not for delinquents "

Seth had noticed the commotion at the trickster tower, "I really should not get involved - but If someone needs my help..." Seth rubbed his temples and closed his eyes, focusing on the situation. "I guess I should go then... I am suppose to help other shadow students and if they need me I should be there? I dunno..." Seth was talking to the flower, he usually talked to himself in the mirror - he was easily distracted and easily discouraged. No wonder his father had no use for him in the battlefield.

This nice lady had greeted him and then just, up and vanished. It was kinda cool - and that one student pointed at him? "I dunno about this..." Yet, Seth kept walking to the commotion.
Upon arrival he saw the two sides arguing... "I should have brought a sword.... or just stayed away..." Seth mumbled to himself.

With the arrival of Lucas, the Shadow Leader, the Tricksters smiled evilly. "Ya, maybe you should keep a closer eye on your students! I hear they've been attacking some of ours!" one said as he stepped closer, shooting a hinting glare toward Morana.

"I told you, I didn't attack anyone, you good for nothing liars..." she said, her voice changing into a deadly sort of quiet. Sparks of lightning flew out from the air around her. Stay calm...stay calm...stay calm... she chanted to herself, though it wasn't working very well.

She can hear my thoughts...? Well, that could be interesting.. he thought without giving away any details about what he himself was capable of. "Er..hi," he said out loud. "Sorry, I guess I might have been mistaken. It's hard to tell what kind of place you're entering when your parents just ship you off without a word, you know?"

Kuro smiled and shook her head "I wouldnt know what thats like...i came here on my own free will" she said as she looked back at The trickster towers, she disappeared with Ui and Shayne and appreaed at the Trickster tower "ENOUGH!!" she yelled loudly making the ground shake. she toke control of everyone except for Ui, Lucas, Seth, Morona, and Shayne"If you trickster dont stop...you will be sorry" she said not letting any of the trickster move there bodys, that was one of kuro's favorite power, she loved to take control of people and make them almost statue like although some times she would make them do embarrising things.
