Yep, for Inu I was leaning towards dog or human.
Neko means cat.

And pagodas are those tall tiered oriental buildings.

Dango is some sort of food, meatballs maybe?
Mochi is another food item, made of rice in a ball, maybe a dessert/snack?
Udon is a type of noodle.
Sake is an alcoholic drink.

Tabi is either a sock or sandal.
And I think everyone here knows what a kimono is. So pretty, but expensive though. And I wish I owned one!
Hakama is some sort of pants.

I am fond of plum sake. Not as strong and tastes great!

I've never had sake, but I want to try it.

I should try the plum kind then.
Or maybe something that didn't cost $7 for a big jug of it. lol

Its rather strong. I would suggest not having it alone, eat some sushi with it.

Really I just want food. This morning my parents were talking about dinner and it sounds like we are grilling out. And they were saying they didn't want burgers or hot dogs so that means big hunks of meat. Which I hate.

The word baka reminds me of good old times at college. My friend and I would pretend fight calling each other names in Japanese. One of our favorites was calling the other an old hag. XD

@ Lilith - I see. I was just wondering because I sometimes drink whiskey straight and I almost always drink rum straight. I've had people think I was nuts because I drink rum straight.
