Auda lays down on the ground next to Keji and says "I missed ya, u big leech hehe. tell us about ur travels. and please, tell us about the lady friend u brought back with u"

Keji had to force his gaze away from Helga before blinking slowly. "Lady friend?" he frowned, looking over to where Esmme stood beside the newcomer. "Ah, Lizz." A small smile spread over the elf's face. "She comes from the small city to the South. She's rather . . . timid toward others." If anyone will get to her, it's Esmme. Or you, Ehl. Keji knew that Ehl was listening to his thoughts, and was rewarded with a smile from the boy.
Turning his attention back to Helga, the vampire pressed his forehead to hers, closing his gray eyes. "I missed being here. I missed hearing all of your voices." He then slowly smiled. "And I bet you're all dying to hear about what I found while I was gone." For almost a year.

The kiss made Helga's head foggy. So much so that she merely smiled at Keji dreamily for a few seconds.
"Oh," she started, suddenly wiping her momentarily forgotten wet eyes, "I am perfeck, now," she answered, almost instantly forgetting her agonizing wait, now that Keji was at her side.
Clutching his hand in hers she continued, "Vhat did you find? Come inside. I vant, ve vant to hear all."

"Let's find a place to sit then," Keji said with a grin, slipping his hand into hers. "I'm ready for some rest."

As the clan gathered within the den, Esmme ushered Lizz inside, and called out to Ehl and Auda. They would be eating together that night - as was tradition on nights when everyone was together. The den mother smiled, her proclain face full of gentle happiness. The clan had four new members - it was more than she could have hoped for.

Ehl linked minds with Keji quickly, and had to practically stuff a sock into his mouth to keep from blurting everything out. His adventures were more exciting than their stay at the cave . . . but it wasn't his story to tell. The dark-haired mind reader pat Auda's blue head before stepping toward the back of the den to get a bit of "food" for the others.

After being called into the den, Keji pulled Helga into his lap as he chose one of the many cushions that littered the floor. The elf wrapped his arms about the woman's waist, breathing in her scent as he listened to the others gathering. "I missed this," he breathed, chuckling lightly.

((Hmmm. Waking up Ameika might be smart. >.>' Or we could have you create another vampy, who we can introduce soon. :yes: And I'll have Keji find the little kitsune in his bed, which is what you previously wanted. :lol:))

Ameika yawned as she woke up, streatching as she cuddle into the bedding before she heardpeople talking,she sighed in relief to know that they were still there. Then she heard new voices, she snuck to the door way and peeked out from behind the curtain as she watched the new people curiously, seeing how the new male reacted around Auntie, she smiled before she ran out the room and in a gaint circle around everyone. "Auntie!!!!!!! I got an Uncle!!!!" she yelled as shecontinued to run and flail around the room before hugging Helga and Keji from behind, automaticly thinking that they were a couple and not regecting the idea. She then saw Esmme across the way and basically jumpped at her as she hugged her close. "Mommie!!!!! I am hungry!!!!" she whined loudly as she cuddle close tothe woman, not looking at the others or calling them something since she couldn't figure out what thier role inthe clan was just yet or what they were to her.

Keji haltingly stuttered over what to say, distracted immensely by the child that hugged them. His gray eyes filled with laughter, but confusion filled his elven features. "And who is this?" he asked, watching as the young girl scampered about the room excitedly. When she came to Esmme, the girl clung to her. "Just how many newcomers do we have?"

"Four," Ehl blurted from the sidelines. He shrugged a bit. "And they're all very . . . different. Lizz, Ameika, Vyr . . . Adia. Our family has doubled in the past week." Then the mind reader shook his head, stroking Auda's furry ears once again. He was seated to the couple's left, and listened in on everyone's thoughts as commotion blurred around him. And I thought it was hard to keep my fingers out of everyone's mind then. Now it's even worse. . . .

With a soft laugh, Esmme pointed to the kitchen area. "There's some food in the cupboard, dear. Come on, I'll show you." Leading the kitsune into the back of the den, the clan mother smiled. Cute little thing.

Ameika looked towards Keji and frowned a little bit, her face scruntching up as she continued to stare at him with her arms arouund Esmme, her head cocking to the side as her ears twitched towards who ever spoke, her tail was wrapped around her leg. "Uncle do you love Auntie Helga?" she asked him as she let Esmme go and scrambled to her feet as Esmme stood up, she looked towards the man with curious eyes before she was lead to the kitchen. She turnned herteal eyes to the room and theywent wide-eyed before she started to open various doors, seeing a few bottles she opened them up and smelled them before her nose scruntch up. She ended up pulling everything out andsmeeling them all before she sat down in the middle of the mess andate an apple.

Esmme laughed quietly, and then watched as Ameika dug through what little food they had. With the child there, they would need to stock up on other kinds of food. "Would you like to come to town with me?" the clan leader asked the girl, stroking her ears as she passed her. "You can help me choose food for yourself."

Hearing Ameika's words, Keji's sharp features immediately filled with scarlet. "I-I-" he stuttered a few times, and then looked back to Helga. When his gray eyes met hers, he seemed to calm, and his pale features cooled once again. "I do." Resting his head against Helga's for a moment, the vampire smiled. "She's the best thing that's happened to me."

Ehl chuckled, trying not to burst into laughter. He'd heard the thought before it ever left the kitsune's lips. Turning his face away from the others, the youth grinned. Sometimes, I love being able to read into other's thoughts.

"Food?" Ameika asked as she perked up at the word, juice was dripping down her chin as she looked at Esmme, completely unaware of the other's in the room. She stuck her tongue out slightly as she thought about what Esmme asked her, herears laying flaton her head as she held the applein her hands, her tail curling around her as he shirt that ws to big hung losely on her. "YAY!!!" she yelled loudly in both in reply to Esmme and what Keji said, when she did so her apple went flying and she begnto flail around the room once more.

A muttered "ow" came from Ehl as the discarded apple bounced off of his head. Smiling crookedly, the male wiped the juice it had left behind away from his forehead. "Easily excitable," he commented, and then tried as hard as he could to block out the sound of her thoughts. They were so . . . so forceful, so loud. It felt like Ameika was yelling into his ear every time he caught one of her excited thoughts . . . and that wasn't counting her shouting as she dashed about the cavern.

((Cool! I was summoned! Sorry so much for the vanishing. >.< I don't do it on purpose LOL. I most definitely want to be here. :) )

Helga blushed a velvety red after Keji's love confession. She had felt the same for some time. Pressing her lips briefly against the corner of his mouth she said, "I love you, too. It is almost unbelievable how goot t'ings can be, huh?" She grinned before relaxing in his arms. From her comfortable perch, she watched Esmme and Ameika run about like mother and child. It was a sweet sight. One that, she knew, most of her kind weren't able to be so close to, and she felt blessed for her family. Still, as Ameika's cheerful shrieks echoed the cave, she noticed a subtle tightness in Ehl's expression. Wondering just how intense Ameika's thoughts must have been, she gave him a sympathetic glance. Just a glance, though, as Adia was approaching with a look of disdain; Helga was too happy to entertain any complaints right now.

Adia settled herself beside Ehl. He was the most interesting person to her so far, and thankfully one of the quietest. These two things may have been connected, but she wasn't one for self-reflection. A low pulse began behind her forehead as Ameika made herself at home. "You're one for quiet, too?" she asked.

Alright . . . I'm trying to come up with something to get the story going. Anyone have any conflict ideas? =3))

Keji hummed his agreement, encircling Helga with his arms. He closed his eyes, breathing in the scent of his home. This . . . this was like a bit of heaven. He never could have asked for more.
Quietly, his voice hardly above a whisper, the elf began to recount his story. Starting with when he'd last left the den, Keji told of his journey to the human cities and towns. His search for other vampires that were willing to join the Cullyn's had been fruitless . . . until he was on his way back. Lizz had been found.

With a slight forced smile, Ehl glanced up to Adia as she sat down. "It isn't usually this loud," he said, shaking his head as though clearing it. "But yes. Even when I was human I wasn't used to such noise." Certainly it was charming to see Esmme trailing calmly behind Ameika, but her thoughts were so loud!
"I can hardly block any of it out," the young vampire let his brow furrow slightly, and he let his blue eyes dart over to where the child was running. "Then again, neither can anyone else." He wasn't upset, but merely trying to keep himself from too much mental strain. It hurt, really - like a headache on steroids.
"Is a walk sounding good to you?" Ehl asked, finally allowing one hand to dart up to his temple. Of course, the telepath ended up "hearing" Adia's answer before it ever left her lips, but he let her speak it anyway.

((*giggle* Silly little Ameika. :hug:))

Soon Ameika laughed as she was caught by Esmme, giggleing as she wiggled and tried to get out of her arms but revertted to hugging her as she wrpped her self around her like a monkey, calmming down as she snuggled into the woman and yawned a little bit. "Mommy are we going shopping now?" sheasked her as she restted heer head against the woman's shoulder, watching everyone else as now she had burnned alot of energy off and her thoughts were moving slowly as her voice was a whisper.

(Conflicts. Drama. Hmmmm. Are we looking for conflict from outside the family or inside?)

Adia answered quickly, "Absolutely." Realizing the rudeness of her speed, she gave a meager attempt to fix it, "I, uh, could use some exercise."

Helga listened to Keji's story. The sound of his voice was like honey, and how she missed it! Now that she had him back, she wondered how she ever got along without him. "Lizz," Helga said, "velcome home. Are you liking et here?" She grinned at the girl, excited to hear if the girl had any city tales. Helga never could get enough of a good adventure story.

(Lizz was in the room right? I hope I didn't mess that up, LOL).

((Perhaps a bit of both. ;) I know that a bit of conflict inside the family is Vyr and Ehl. I made it that way on purpose - no offense to Marsyas!
So we have a few small things. Like . . .. hummm. Any more ideas? I think I may introduce the other vampire clan again, considering Drama (Keji's old friend) and his group aren't dead. Thus, more trouble. But attacks? Invasion? Capture?))

Ehl grinned, and stood. "Exercise sounds like a good idea," the vampire said, and once again glanced to Ameika. She seemed to have calmed down, which was a relief, but he still wasn't quite sure if he wanted to be around. Perhaps after his head stopped hurting. . . .
In a quick blur of movement, Ehl suddenly appeared in the opening of the cave. "I know these mountains like the back of my own hand. Would you like a tour of the best places around?" His bright blue eyes flickered to Vyr, who still remained in the shadows of the cavern. For some reason, even when the drow was stationary, Ehl found his attention drawn to him. Not able to trust the newcomer like the others, the telepath tried to dismiss his misgiven feelings. It wasn't worth causing a stink over. It was only his prejudice against the dark elves. It had to be.

With a laugh, Esmme patted Ameika's head. "Yes, dear. We're going to get some food." Announcing as much to the others, the clan leader headed for the cavern entrance. "Don't stay out too late," she grinned, and touched Ehl's arm affectionately as she passed. "I don't want to have Auda dragging you back into the cavern with new sun-scars."
Esmme then knelt, grasping Ameika's hands and forcing her to hold on. "Keep yourself close," the vampire said, and then bolted forward at a quick speed. They were halfway to the town within a minute.
