Suddenly feeling abit sympathic he gave her shoulder a slight sqeez.'Remeber that even if it happend,be proud of how far you have come today.'He said in a soft tone as they walked.He knew how it felt to be betrayed,but not by humans.Sighing softly to himself,he slowly took it upon his shoulders to be the one there for Lana even if it meant giving up personal time with friends and so on.She'd be worth it,and in time he'd heal her heart because a young girl like her deserved to be happy.'Lana,I promise to be here for you and put you first.'He said in a seriouse tone,his expressions unreadable as they walked.He only wanted to protect her,expectly as of now.

Lana. Nodded silently to his first words feeling the pain of the betrayle and her mothers death weigh on her heart making her eyes turn to a sad grey. She then looked up at him in shock and stopped in her tracks her eyes changing to a bright green. No one had ever offered to make her the most important thing in their lives. No one had ever said they cared like that, not even her alpha. Tears welled in her eyes and her eyes turned a light silvery blue of releaf. She hugged him tightly burrying her face into his chest and then nuzzled him. She hid her face as she tried to fight the happy tears but she couldn't as they ran down her cheeks making a cold stinging sensation on her cheeks. "Thank you...." she whispered softly.

Botolf wrapped his arms around Lana as a rush of warmth was sent through out his body.He had never spoken those words to somebody before,only to Luna but Luna had grown up to trust no one - not even herself.Botolf simpley kept his muscular arms wrapped around Lana as she crushed her face into his chest.Tenderly,he kissed the top of her head and then laid his head atop of hers as they stood there.The snow traveled in all different directions but nowhere near them.'Always.'Botolf whispered softly to Lana,keeping her captive in his arms.

Lana blushed fiercely and then sighed. She loved his tender kiss and then sighed again unable to ocontain her happieness. She looked up at him and then smiled brightly. "thank you again..... Botolf." she whispered and then looked another way hearing what sounded like a bunch of wolves running. "Another pack?" she said softly and looked up at him confused but her body tensed in his arms and then slipped from his arms. She looked at him and then towards where the noise was coming from on alert.

Suddenly aware of the sounds of another pack,he wasn't that alarmed because many wolf packs came here during the winter.He had no idea why but apparently most wolves liked the snow.He kept his eyes on Lana,aware of how alter she was he decied to remain on alter but by using the wind and snow.If they were attacked at this moment,it would be a bad idea - and a stupid one.'Im pretty sure its another pack trudging on through.'Botolf said as he listened tentivley and remained tranquil about the situation they had just gotten in.It would be best to move from the spot they both were in but he held no fear.Two of his elements surrounded him but who was on his mind that he did worry for was Lana.If she got hurt then he would become a mercless killer - which he didn't want her to see.Sighing,he kept his arms down by his sides and his hazel eyes remained attached to Lana as his ears listened to the sounds being made around them.

Lana stifled a growl as the pack of wolves approached and then made it loom as if she was relaxed. As they approached the alpha came forward in wolf form and Lana kept her eyes on him. He then growled deeply. "Hunter bitch... We meet again." ge said and Lana looked at the horrible scar along his side. She remembered giving it to him. The horrific bloody fight. Aol too well. He then lundged angrily and eith a wave of her hand Lana made a sheild of darkness making hi. Fly off and into a tree. "Get them!" he snarrled and Lana growled, her past was after her now.

Botolf hissed under his breath.She had pulled a foolish and childish move.Grabing Lana by the hand and tuging her behind him,without thinking,before any of the wolves could move he froze there feet in place.'Stop.'Botolf demanded in a angered,yet irritated tone.This was childish,yes someones life had been lost at her hand but she was a hunter and she had good reason.He knew of this pack,but if they any better they wouldn't pull anything stupid.Yes he adored Lana but in order for them to stay together she would have to give up hunting.His hazel eyes soon formed into a velvet red.His expression was as cold and hard as snow.Botolf thought carefully before he spoke.'You should know better to not attack other wolves,may I ask for a reason?'Botolf said with a icey tone as his eyes remained nailed to all who was in front of him,not bothering to speak for permission from Lana.Yes she proably would find him quite irritating to just protect her but this had to be done.Botolfs blood felt as though it had froze in place.Yes this town was his territory because himself and Luna was here before any of them were.Soon though after him came along other wolves who soon gathered into one and they all worked together to survive.As he stood there,his thoughts still flickered back to Lana and his promise.It was too late to turn back now but he wouldn't slaughter them.He then soon remebered his old nickname they use to call him because they found out about his ability to control wind - Saevus Ventus.Botolf made sure to let no emotions flicker across his face and simpley stood there,not staring them down but making sure Lana didn't move from behind him,he was still untrusting.

Lana growled angerily as she was forced behind Botolf and then quieted to a soft growl under her breath. It really pissed her off that he had to hide behind him. She could handle herself. She had been since she was born this was no different. "Stand down Saevus Ventus." the alpha growled angerily and then snapped angerily. "She killed my mate! Her life is mine by blood!" he snarrled. "You attacked me." she stated cooly. "You were in my territory!" he retorted angerily and then silence followed for a few seconds. "Then how about we settle this wolf to wolf. I am no hunter." she challenged making the others growl in surprise.

Botolf remained calm in the situation but then his eyes diverted back towards the wolf.Lana killed his mate?Sighing,he didn't move.'Or you can settle it with me,no powers of use,just tooth and claw.'Botolf stated simpley.Hopefully he would see where he was going with this,sure Lana could fight but now it was his job to protect her.If Lana made a false move to provoke them,this whole thing would litterly be over.'Lana.'Botolf said in a icey tone,keeping his eyes on the pack leader.'Calm down.'He said as his tone softened and he took un-froze the pack leaders feet along with his wolves as he took a step to the side to be,beside Lana.Hopefully she could follow a simple order - hopefully.

Solem quickly wrestled the large buck to the ground. It's leg was already broken...most likely from a hunters trap. She was simply putting the animal out of its misery. She never liked to kill large animals unless they where sick or injured. As the buck breathing stalled and finally stopped Solem licked her bloody lips. She was lucky the buck was by the tree house. She didn't want Night getting her anything since he was still healing from his injuries and Solem was actually finally feeling hungry this morning. Instead of waking Night up Solem decided to just slip out of the tree house and get her something to eat.

Lana wanted to smack Botolf as he challenged the alpha for her. "I only want her." the alpha growled but then looking the two over again he grinned menisngly. "On second thought. A mate for a mate. Nothing personal." he growled accepting the challenge and stepped forward. Hearing this Lana grabbed Botolf's hand. "No... This is my fight.... Don't do this." she whispered ever so softly her eyes pleading with his to keep from this madness.

((Night snores on))

Botolf simpley nodded,but then to find Lana gripping his hand,his eyes soon flickered back to hers,he gave her a reassuring smile and kissed her on the forhead.'Ill be fine.'He said softly,gently tweaking her chin as he then turned his features back to the alpha.'So,do you wish to fight now or later when your pack isn't in such a bad mood.'Botolf said,his eyes smudged with sheer humor from this.Ofcourse the alpha was strong but then again,Botolf did grow up on the streets for a reason and learning to kill and be mercless was a speciality at this point.Giving Lanas hand a gentle squeez he simpley stood there,awaiting for his response.

the alpha watched them with a sadistic grin knowing that this revenge was going to be sweet. "Now." he growled and Lana looked at him and nearly growled and lunged. She kept herself planted though and nodded to Botolf. "Okay.... I'll protect your back if they get out of control." she whispered glancing to the pack mates before kissing his cheek for courage. "Kick his ass." she said with a determined grin and a nod puttin gher full trust in him. She trusted him with this completely.

As Lana kissed his cheek,his body felt a flood of warm energy.As if he had been pure once more,but he soon let go of Lana and shape-changed back into his wolf form.It was nothing special,just beautiful glossy red and black fur as he stood there,awaiting for the alpha to make his first move.After all this battle wasn't quite in his favore in many ways.'Come now,you shouldn't think so highly of ones self.'Botolf said to the alpha,his eyes flickered with humor as he took a few steps away from Lana,but just incase he made sure the other 'pups' feet was frozen to the ground so they couldn't attack Lana behind his back.'Ready when you are.'Botolf stated simpley,he was quite tired and wanted this to be done and over with so he could go back to the cave and relax.

Lana watched as Botolf shifted forms liking the look of his wolf form. She the watched as the alpha grinned. "Joke all you want. Your life is mine." he snapped and then snarrled. As he then lundged he rammed into Botolf and Lana cried to watch out but it was too late. The trap went off as the alpha jumped away catching Botolf in the net and then the spears shot out at him. Thinking fast Lana used her darkness to make the spears glance off around Botolf snd then shifted herself. She growled snd went to free him but the alpha tackled her snd bit her leg making her roar in pain and kick him off. "You bastard! Planting a trap!" she growled.

After having her fill of the tasty buck she licked her bloody lips once more and sighed in content. It seemed like forever since she had a...satisfying meal all to herself. Walking away from the dead animal corpse Solem slowly made her way back to the tree-house. Since Night was still sleeping she really wasn't in any rush to get back,although even so....she was still quite worried about him. It seemed every time she left that boy alone he was either kidnapped,fighting,or both. Before she started to climb the tree Solem changed back into her human form. Quickly jumping into the tree she pounced,almost like a cat from branch to branch. Since the tree-house wasn't that far up it didn't take her that long to get back. Sitting down at the doorway Solem made sure she had gotten all the excess blood from her face before standing up once again. Quietly making her way to the sleeping Night she gripped the comfy furs that Night lay on and swiftly removed them from under him,making Night fall to the floor with a soft thud. Standing above her new mate she tapped her left foot lightly on the wood floor board. "Don't you think it's about time you get up."Solem said as more of a comment then a question.

Night let out a yelp of pain and then growled as he clutched his side. It was bleeding from a stab wound and his back was slashed. "Run Solem." he gasped angerily and growled at her as suddenly a man jumped from the house and smacked Night in the head making him jerk back and hit his head on the wall of the tree house. The hunter then pointed the silver sword at Night and held it to his throat menisingly. "Now stupid female stand down!" he snapped angerily. Night growled and then with a swift movement threw the blade to the side cutting his palm but pounced tackling the man making them fall out of the house. He ripped out the man's throat andthen disingaged before hitting the ground. He had grabbed a branch and swung up on it. Panting he growled angerily. That was the fifth hunter he had killed, but that hunter had been smart and had just burned the bodies quickly.

As the trap was set off from Botolf geting ramed into it,a sudden anger filled his body.Molding this anger into energy,he then stood up,teeth barred and tail up.'Move Lana.'His soft tone carried out as he leaped forth and attack the wolf to the ground,biting into his flesh and ripping it away from his neck as he did a back-flip and landed on all fours back to his regular position.Blood stained his teeth,as his once peaceful eyes filled with malice,anger,betral.'Die or give up.'Botolf snaped at the alpha as he stood his ground,eyes blazing and ready for any move this time.

Lana growled angerily bu moved aside as Botolf broke free of his bonds. But suddenly so did the rest of the pack from his powers and they came a her. "Finish your fight! I can take care of myself!" she called and bolted knowing speed and stealth was the things she had in her advantage as she ran into the forest. The rest of the pack following her as the alpha launched at Botolf. Lana ran quickly and then dissappeared into the trees makin the pack stop ontheir tracks confused. She then launched herself at eachone as they spread out, knocking them out one by one, but had to go head to head with the last two who figured her out.

Botolf didn't like this,and now he questioned how the ice had broken from the other wolves feet.Suddenly angered,he simpley formed back into his other half,round-house kicking the alpha in the jaw and sent him flying.'I refuse to fight you any longer.'Botolf said,his eyes a piercing red and his pupils now gone as he stood there,looking the enemy dead in the eyes.The wind was beginning to pick up as his anger trudged on.'Why do you fight if you know you'll be killed?'Botolf asked,his eyes still blazing and the wind still ripping at his clothes and hair as they sent images bursting into his mind.The snow soon begun to fall in place,covering the foot steps once made by himself and Lana.Although as he stood there in that one place,it then occured to him - a mate for a mate.The words lingered on his head.Biting down on his lower lip he then transformed back into his wolf form and lunged himself forward towards the alpha,pinning him down with his paws as he stared him down once more.

Angered the alpha looked up at the other wolf and growled. "Ha! You would understand if you had a mate and not just a whore to fight for!". He snarrled and grew him off. "Bette to join her as I try and get my revenge." he growled and then lundged again biting his leg and then kicking him to the ground.

Lana pounced and was about to knock out the female when she hesitated seeing her pregnant. Shock ran threw her as the mate rammed into his slamming his body into a tree savagely making her howle in pain as she felt and heard a rib snap. She then fell to the snowy ground and then male bit her neck making her whimper and desperately try to ge away but it was impossible.

Botolf soon heard Lanas howel.Hissing under his breath as pure ice begun to flow from his jaws,leting out a howel so desparate and chilling that it even made him shake.'Shes not a whore.'Botolf said,angered as the wind around him collapsed and sent the alpha flying back,slaming down into the tree.Botolf then turned and ran off into the woods,using the wind he then found Lana and the mutt who was trying to kill her.Pouncing on the male,he dug his teeth into his neck and slammed him into another tree,standing over Lana,his red eyes begun to glow,clearly his sane side gone as the wind picked up,his ears lowered.'Anyone makes a move and ill take you out.'A voice said,one that wasn't Botolfs but the winds and the ice.Knowing the wind had come along with spirits,and the spirits didn't like him to kill - even if it meant using them or not.Hovering over Lana,he didn't move as his razor sharp teeth remained bared.

((Crap I'm lost again. Sorry guys...I'm really not keeping up well. Begining of the school year is kicking my ass. I really appologies.))

Lana looked up surprised and whimpered painfully as Botolf came to her aid. She closed her eyes and slumped to the ground painfully with a whine. The female gave a whine to her mate and then with a nod they both ran off. They couldn't risk it with the child on the way. Lana shook and trembled as she felt pain all over. Unable to control this she shrunk and was soon laying in the biting cold snow and her blood stained the pure whiteness with red. "Im sorry..." she choked painfully curled up in pain.

Botolfs eyes softened as he then backed off of Lana and gently licked her cheek.'What am I going to do with you Lana?'Botolf said almost as if joking to try and remove her mind from the pain,curling up around her,he held her small body against his.'Can you stand?'Botolf whimpered against Lanas ear as he remained curled up around her,giving her plenty of heat off his body,wanting to keep her warm.If he lost her,this would be the end of it all,but he refused to.
