Lana tried fighting the pain asslow tears trickled down her cheeks. She kept close to Botolf needing his warmth body to keep her warm. She then whimpered softly and bit her lip before answering. "I can try..." she whispered and then closed her eyes. "You don't have to keep your promise.... I will understand...." she whisperer painfully as she laid there. She might have been an amaingly hunter, but she was a lousy wolf.

Botolfs eyes softened as his head remained underneath hers so she wasn't completely in the snow.'Everythings okay love.'He whispered softly.Her fragile body seemed to fit into his perfectly.He hadn't expected all of this to happen this morning but it brought someone special into his life.Botolf tried to relax but he couldn't.Thats when he remebered snow is pure,perhaps it could heal her wounds.'Just relax.'He said softly as he focused on the snow,mounting it up onto where she was bleeding,he then speeded up the healing process,once that was done,the snow had melted.

Lana whimpered softly and then nodded painfully. Shivering she closed her eyes and drifted in and out consiousness. Shivering as the snow melted off her body she began to shake violently. The cold was sinking in and bitig her bones faster then a regular wolf for being a half breed she wasn't as hot. Whimpering softly she opened her eyes and looked at Botolf. "Can we go to the cave pleasssse." she chattered cuddling closer to him.

Sighing,he then switched forms,picking Lana up - even though she was in her wolf form,he carried her bridal style and tried to keep her arm as he walked through the snow,creating a passage but covering up there tracks as he went forward.His thoughts soon traveled back to what happend,the wolves,the alpha's mate.Why did Lana kill besides the fact of her mother?Botolf continued forward in silence,but soon reached the cave and sat her down beside the fire,gently running his finger tips over her fur gently.

((she changed back into her human form.))

Lana whimpered softly and then snuggled as close as possible to Botolf and laid nextto the fire. She then sneezed and trembled. Then sneezif again she whimpered and nuzzled close to he love. "Im so sorry..." she sniffles and then kissed his neck before cuddling. She didn't know how she was going to explain this to her alpha.

Botolf held Lana in his warm arms,not leting her go.As she sneezed he then begun to worry,the only person who could actully cure her would be Luna.Siging softly he kissed the top of her head,craddling her against him as the flames continued on burning everything that had been placed into the fire.'Its okay love,relax.'Botolf whispered softly,gently rubbing her back trying to keep her warm.'Everything will be okay.'Botolf said in a low whisper.The battle had not been won quite yet between himself and the alpha,but he wouldn't kill,he refused to.Luna would have to do it considering well...it was in her nature.Botolf then gently stroked Lanas long black hair.It didn't take him long to realise he would soon have to face Luna,talk to her alone and explain this all.He'd proably end up joining the pack just so he could remain by Lanas side,but little did she know how many people cared for her at this moment.Botolfs eyes begun to haze into its soft blue and green hazel eyes.He could only picture what she and Seth were doing at this very moment,proably talking about what had happend in the cave.As for the other wolf named Vlad,he pretty much was in his own little world,as far as Botolf knew of anyway.

Lana whimpered ever so softly and then came as close to him as lomg as possible. She then began to steady her brewarjin and then suddenly she was out cold as she liked the way he stroked her hair. She dreamt abount being with Botolf. They were running happily, playing in the snow, and as they romped around there suddenly was a howle. They looked up from their playful kiss to see the alpha. Shocked Botolf went to protect her but he was thrown into a tree and visiously cut across his chest. Crying out and about ready to run to him Lana was scooped up by the alpha and carried away struggling in his jaws. Lana whimpered and squirmed in her sleep as she dream more and more. Finally the alpha had stopped running and thrown her into a cave. Shifting into her wolf form in the dream to fight back she was tackled and then forced to submit to him as he bit her neck. Suddenly he lundged and took her making her howle and she screamed in her sleep and bolted upright trembling. She was thrown into a coughing fit as she did and her whole frame shook.

Botolfs eyes softened as he came to realise that she had fallen asleep.Sighing in content,he relaxed but soon enough found her trembling.'Lana wake up.'Botolf whispered softly,but then she bolted away from him.As she was sent in a coughing fit,Botolf came to her side.'Whats wrong?'Botolf asked in a worryed yet quite concerned tone as he sat beside Lana.What dreams was she having and what kind of world was she in?Botolf then came to realise that perhaps Luna has plenty of that medicen left,although he could get something stronger.Making a heavy decision,he awaited to hear about Lanas dream.

Lana trembled and shook as she got a hold of her caughing. She then shook her head and then wrapped her arms around Botolf and hugged him tightly. "I'm sorry..." she whispered ever so softly as she clutched onto his tightly. Holding tightly she whimpered and then tears streaked down her cheeks. "I don't want it...." she whispered softly to herself. "I don't want to end up like my mother.... I don't want to get hurt ike that..." she whispered then closed her eyes and then cried silently as she held onto him. Her body weakened as she lost strength from the cold. she lost her grip on him and coughed again. she hated being weak... And now that was exactly what she was.

'Your not weak,and you never will be.As long as im here,nobody will hurt you..today we had gotten split up.Everythings okay now.'Botolf whispered against her ear,pulling her into his embrace,he then picked her up bridal style and went to the side of the cave,leaning against the wall he then sat her down on his stomach and kept her legs off to the side and held her tightly.Today had happend for a reason,sure they wont always be able to protect each other but what was important was that she was alive.And thats all the motive Botolf needed.He gently rubbed her back for comfert and lifted her chin to find there gazes to meet.'Lana..everything will be okay in the end,if nothings okay then its not the end.'He whispered softly,holding her gaze,but whipped away her tears.'Your eyes are too beautiful to be crying.'Botolf said with a slight chuckle as he held her there in his arms.

Lana laid against him weakly as he laid her down upon his chest and warm body. He had to be an angel. He was so perfect... he knew what to say to make her smile without even knowing her well. She smiled softly and sniffled when he said her eyes were beautiful and they turned into a soft blue. "Thank you...." she whispered and then leaned up and kissed him on the cheek before resting ontop of him, intwining one of her legs with his instinctively. "What are we going to tell Luna?" she whispered?

Botolf smiled softly,her kiss sending a flood of warmth through out his body.He had seen this question coming for sometime now.'Whenever she returns ill speak with her.'Botolf whispered softly,his hand rubbing her back lovingly.Clearly he had built a bond with Lana like no other,and he would hold this bond dear as his eyes soon then nailed onto the fire.Whatever her and Seths conversation was,it must have been pretty intense because the flames had rised a good couple of feet ever since they had come back.

Lana nodded ever so slightly and then sighed. She laid her head against his chest and let out a soft purr. She smiled as her nose was filled with his scent. His body was chasing away the chills in her body and the bond she felt between them only seemed to get stronger as each second trickled by. She then nuzzzled his chest and gave into her erge to lean up and kiss his neck gently over and over loving the taste of his skin on her lips.

Botolf sighed in content as Lana laid on his chest.But when she started kissing his neck he simpley ran his hand along her side,craddling her against him.'I see someones feeling better.'He said in a soft tone as she kissed his neck.Then,Botolf gently raised her chin to find his lips molding onto hers.She was so cold,had he made the right choice to use the snow to heal her wounds?All he could do was hope Lana wouldn't get sick.Slowly pulling away,he gently nuzzeled his nose against hers.

Lana smiled against Botolf's skin adn then looked up into his eyes, her eyes turning to a soft violet as she met his lips. Feeling her lips mold against him she sighed happily and shook off the feeling of being so cold. Unfortuntely being a halfbreed made it harder for her to get over colds and keep healthy like humans. But luckily she felt much better in his arms. She snuggled close and then rubbed her nose with his gently her smile upon her lips warm and soft. "can you feel it too?" she asked softly and guided his hand to her cold arm. "Its a small warning to you right now.... I'm much more... fragile... then the res of you.." she whispered grimacing at the word fragile.

'I know love.'He whispered softly,although he could feel how cold she was and it made him feel bad.Sighing,he wrapped his warm arms around Lana,tucking her against his warm body.Hopefully when Luna got back the cave would be much more warm.'Just hang in there.'He whispered softly,his gaze remaining on the flames,watching them as they rised and slowly fell back down.Sighing,he kept his arms wrapped around Lana and tried to keep her warm.

Lana smiled softly snuggling as close as possible not leaving any room between them. "I'm not going anywhere... Don't worry... i just want to warn you..." she whispered and then sighed. She hated being weak. Hated being the outsider. everywhere she went she would never belong. she wasn't a human.... But she wasn't a wolf either. It was something that most hated and very few tolerated. It was something she was nearly ashamed to be. she wanted to be a strong person. she didn't want to become like her mother, to beautiful and too weak for her own good. She didn't want to be taken advantage of and then bare a child all by herself. She didn't want to be that way. she didn't want to fall to her mother's fate. And she hoped she would never have that happen.

Turning his gaze onto Lana,he then asked.'Whats on your mind love?'He asked in a soft tone as she snuggeled against him.A warm smile spread across his sharp features as he stared into her eyes.So many colors...but she always was beautiful.Shape or form.Through it all,Botolf would remain by her side and hopefully he had proven so today as he fought for Lanas life.She wasn't weak,she didn't need to learn much either.Her movements were swift and fast but no matter what he'd always worry about her because he adores her.

Lana looked up at Botolf when he asked and then sighed. "I dont want to follow my mother's footsteps...." she whispered and then closed her eyes leaning against him more. "that's why i hated it when anyone called me beautiful... My mother was too beautiful for her own good and it caused her pain and suffering the rest of her life. I don't want that... My life has already been hell..." she whispered and sighed softly as she nuzzled his chest.

'Lana,you know your not weak but today we were caught off gaurd.Trust me when I say I wont leave your side,its all I will ever ask of you.'Botolf said softly as he rested his head on top of hers,watching the flames once more and Lanas breathing.How lucky was he to end up with her?Sure his past wasn't quite so...charming but he pushed through that small stich in time just to get where he is today.'Lana..remeber if those things never happend,you wouldn't even be here today.'He whispered softly as he gave a kiss to the top of her head and let his head rest on-top of hers.Her skin wasn't as cold before,so that was one good sign.Atleast it didn't feel as cold,or maybe Botolf had just adjusted to her body heat?No,she had to be geting better,cuddling for now was his only hope.

Lana sighed and nodded slightly hearing him. She took in everything about his voice as he spoke but then smiled slowly. "I know... My mother said she never regretted it... though I do for her... The people said she would scream in pain all the time... And more then once when I was small did I hear her scream in her sleep as she relived my father's visit... I... Just couldn't stand it.... How could she be so happy and cheerful when she was in so much pain? Every breath she took hurt her.... But yet she kept living... She kept taking all the blows..." she growled softly and a tear ran down her cheek. "I hate what I did to her.... She would be alive and ahppy and grinning like an idiot like she did." she growled and slammed her hand against the cave floor before shuddering and letting her body go limp again. "It wasn't fare to her.... I should've told her I loved her more and thanked her for putting up with me coming home wounded everyday... God... I'm such a monster..." she growled adn burried her face into his chest and clung to him. It was hard for her, talking about her mother. Her mother had been the only person she had ever cared for, had ever loved, and she could do nothing to make the pain go away for her because she had been the cause of pain. It killed her to know that.

'She kept going because she loved you,and even though you believe you were the cause of her pain you could have truely been the cause of her happyness.Even though he raped her,you were brought into this world.So she lived on to be there for your smiles,your laughter,even the sick and twisted times.Its simpley the way of a mother.'Botolf said in a soft tone,siting up and cupping Lanas chin.'Nobodys perfect,human or not.Everyone makes mistakes and as long as you learned from it then everything will truely be okay.Have faith in yourself and your mother.'Botolfs soft tone carried on as her brushed the tear that came from her eye away.'Remeber what goes around comes around,and karma got him back in the end.'Botolf reassured her,urning to see her smile one last time.

Lana listened to him silently and then looked into his eyes as he cupped her chin. She looked into his eyes her eyes turning into a soft understanding orange as he finished. "Yeah... I killed him. " she said and then gave a small chuckle adn smiled. "Karama is a pain in the ass..." she whispered remembering having killed that Alpha's mate because she had attacked her thinking she could take out an injered hunter but had been mistaken. Lana had barely made it out with her life after the alpha had attacked. She knew that he was out for blood and was crazed enough to go until he got it or died.

As her eyes shifted colors and the words 'yeah I killed him' left her lips,that made him feel as though he wasn't any different from any other male.Making promises to only be broken is proably what she was thinking,because he could see it all from her prospective.'You must believe that my promises made to you are simpley a joke but dearest...I mean it.And if we are sharing secrets,there is only one time I ever had to kill.And that was long ago when I had to take care of Luna and show her how to fight and survive.I may appear at the age of what...20?But nobody has the slightest clue of my age,not even myself.'Botolf said in a smooth tone as his eyes left Lanas and a certin urning filled his hazel eyes,as if he wished he could go back in time and stop the murder but he had to kill in order to save Luna.

Lana looked at him her eyes saddening hearing him. She could tell that killing was something he hated to do... And yet it was something she didn't mind, and she hated to admit that. She had been raised by her choice as a hunter to kill her bastard father for revenge on behalf of her mother. Of anything she was the monster here. She then looked up at him and cupped his cheek. "I believe you...." she whispered softly and then kissed him deeply pressing her almost warm body close as she ran one hand threw his hair and then wrapped her other arm around his neck before pulling away gently just resting her lips on his. "Because I love you...." she whispered and then kissed him again. Talk about love at first sight.
