The villain who actually has a reasonable reason for what he is doing, but isn't going about it in the best way

for example; he wants to destroy humanity to end genocide because he lost his beloved little sister to a genocide

I see a tragic heroine. She used to be on top of the world, but after the battle is over she couldn't stomach the fact that so many of her comrades died while she survived the ordeal. :x

Hm... the queen who orders the heroes to go on whatever quest it is they are on, so none of the above, but technically a Victim because the villain is targeting her kingdom.

Victim. Your mystery couldn't save you from the attack on your temple. You start the heros on a quest to regain the lost tomes and scrolls of wisdom stollen from you by the evil villain since without them you are powerless and rappidly being drained of your immortal life.

Hero, most likely a character in a series that's part of an organization and assigns missions. ;)

Villain; the one who greets people with a charming smile and a fresh baked cookie on Christmas, then robs them blind when they least expect it.

The android villain. You pretend to be a rockstar and have many oggling fans but you are actually programmed by an evil mad scientist only to trap your fans and kill them!

Enzeru's avatar would definitely be a heroine. She looks like a celestial princess who left her kingdom to climb an icy cold mountain to fight off evil ice monsters and save villages.

Not a Villain, but someone who challenges the villain and may or may not be on the side of good. :D
