[[Welcome back! :)]]
Lilli laughed at her companion, her eyes sparkling mischievously. "Of course," she said with a roll of her eyes. "Give the order, Julian- it's your turn," she said in a mockingly sweet voice. "I'll keep an eye on order, you know how the men get when they get excited." With that, she turned gracefully on her heel, weaving her way through the troops to do a last minute check.
Even though it didn't show, Lilli was more then excited, her demonic blood pulsing in her veins at the thought of battle. That shadow of doubt still tugged at her mind, telling her something was off here.
[[We could do that. Like, he offered asylum to the Spirits if they got rid of the two.]]

Everything was settled; the troops were lined, squad leaders were given orders and Julian stood in front checking the troops one more time. Lilli was doing a great job keeping everyone in check. He inhaled and motioned everyone to move, hundreds of warriors started pacing towards the given destination, the ground under their feet rumbled; aerial units also took off keeping the skies clear and informing of upcoming obstacles. Soon enough they reached the base that now belonged to the enemy. Strangely enough, no opposing forces were in their field of sight.
"This is no good..." he though out loud and glanced at Lilli. It was obviously a trap, they will be ambushed as soon as they enter the perimeter. But did they have another choice?
"You think we should just charge and keep an eye out for any opposing forces?"

Lilli eyed the fort, her eyes narrowing slightly. "I think you're right," she said softly, sliding up next to Julian. "This feels... wrong." The troops had been good on the march over, but now they seemed unreasonably edgy.
"What say you and I check it out first," she suggested, still watching the camp for signs of attack. "That way, if there's a trap lying in wait, we won't loose a lot of troops, and our men can help us if its something we can't manage."
[[I think this calls for a mutiny?]]

((Most likely ^^))
Julian nodded in agreement and instructed the commanders to stay alert. "Let's go," he said facing Lilli and leaped forward towards the camp. It didn't take long for him to reach the center of the camp, but still - not a soul came out. "Would it be too naive to expect that they abandoned this place?" he spoke and looker around.
The troops they left slowly started to retreat, only a few stayed behind expecting to see quite the sight. And they were in deed in for one. Soon out of various corners spirits started to show up, every single one of them surrounding the two commanders. Julian frowned, "I guess we should call the reinforcements," he said to his companion taking his battle stance and hissing.

Lilli followed right behind Julian, her eyes scanning the area quickly. It was quiet.... too quiet (Yay for cliches!). "They would go to all that trouble and then leave it? Not likely," she said, walking a little farther ahead and trying to peer into one of the halls. She jumped back when she saw a ghostly form emerge, and drew her whip and sword.
"Well, that answers your question," Lilli said sarcastically, as the spirits showed themselves. "We need help," she called, looking over her shoulder. Except.... "Why the hell are the men leaving? What's going on here?!?" She spun around to watch, her jaw actually dropping, as the troops scrambled back over the hill, leaving the two commanders to an impossible task.
"I hate to say it, but I think we've been set up," she said through clenched jaws.

Julian's fangs showed as he turned around only to see more and more enemy soldiers rising from under the ground or from behind the buildings, "Darn it!" he cussed. Their army was retreating and only the two of them were left. This wasn't good, wasn't good at all. No matter how strong the two of them might be, but they wont be able to stand their ground for long fighting against the enemy. Julian grinned and glanced at Lilli, "Shall we at least give them a beating?" he said and soon darted towards the enemy. He cut and slashed the troops, but they just kept flooding and there was no end to them.
He fought as many as he could before he began to pant. Julian was tired, he held on for as long as he could till someone knocked him out. The general's eyes rolled back and he fell heavily to the ground.

Lilli followed Julian's lead, cutting into the enemy ranks. Her eyes narrowed and a deadly silence dropped over her- this was Lilli at her finest, her most dangerous. She made war look like an art form, that much was certain- but even she had her limits. She was beginning to slow down as the battle pressed on.
Lilli hissed as another arrow sliced through her skin, feeling the blood trickling down her arm. She had been lucky so far, to have none of the arrows hit anything vital- but at this rate, she was going to bleed out.
"Julian, this isn't-" she began, turning to find her friend. She spotted him just in time to see someone knock him out, his body hitting the ground hard. "Julian," she cried, and fought her way to him, struggling with the amount of enemies now focused on her. She swung her sword, trying to clear her path- and never saw the shield coming at her from behind, catching her in the head. With a soft, distressed cry, she fell, teetering between consciousness and unconsciousness, the pain in her head driving away all thought as her body was roughly picked up.

As some time passed, Julian finally started to come to. He frowned and slowly tried to open his eyes. Instantly a sharp pain reminded him of what happened. They fell on the battle ground, they were betrayed, just thinking about it made him angry and he tried to move. No use, the ropes held him tight. Cursing the fate he finally decided to look around. The room was small and pitch black, however he could see quite a lot, having some feline blood, his eyes adjusted to the darkness quickly. Just a bit further, he saw Lilli laying on the ground, tied up as well. She seemed to be alive though, that made him feel strangely relieved.
"Lilli, hey!" he called out to her in a low voice attempting not to get any attention from outside.
"You alive?"

Lilli stirred some, a grumpy "Hrmphhhhh" slipping from her lips. She sat up and looked at Julian, squinting her eyes some. Her night vision wasn't as good as his, but it was passable.
"Yeah, I'm alive," she hissed back, managing to crawl over to him on her knees. "Hey, get can you bite through this rope or something?" Her arms were cramped from being tied up so long, and it was making her already bad mood even worse.
She couldn't believe they had been betrayed like that. It made her want to kill someone, and she could think of a good candidate- their old lord. Who else could have set it up? She couldn't exactly figure out why (Or maybe she could, but her head hurt too much right now) but it pissed her off all the same.

"Yeah, that sounds good," he aid and fell on his side, being tied up wasn't exactly his favorite position, it was uncomfortable in probably every way possible. Julian managed to reach her after a bit of crawling like a worm. This was way too ironic for him, but once he reached her, he sat up and scratched Lilli's ropes with his claws. Luckily they were still sharp enough to cut them even after such a battle.
"Mind undoing mine now?" he asked, because he was tied up in a way that he couldn't reach back with his claws, clever from the enemy side, but still dumb enough if they left both of them in the same cell.

Lilli sighed as her cramped arms were freed, wincing as she stretched out her shoulders. "I'm almost tempted to leave you like that," she commented, but reached behind him and untied the ropes with quick, nimble fingers. "There, all done," she said, and actually managed a smile, albeit a bit tired and strained. She sat back and examined him, then frowned.
"You've got blood on your forehead," she said, leaning forward and brushing a stray locke of hair out of face to examine the blood. She lifted her other hand and tilted his chin up with it, trying to get a better look at the wound. "I think you must have hit your head on a rock when you went down," she murmured, tilting his head gently this way and that.

Julian just gritted his teeth and waited patiently till she untied the ropes. After it was done, he rubbed his wrists, Damn, they really do know how to tie a knot... he thought looking at his sore arms. "Thanks..." he said kinda reluctantly. He didn't feel anything else was wrong till she lifted his chin up. His eyes fixed right on her. Lilli could be nice too, but of course, he already knew that. It was one of the reasons why he preferred her over any other general... However that wasn't all.
"You make me feel like a kid..." he mumbled with a pout. "Enjoying yourself?"

She smirked at him, jerking his chin to one side a little rougher then before. "Of course," she said sarcastically, before letting him go and sitting back. Julian was kind of cute, even she would admit it. He was also pretty dependable, smart, a great warrior. He was the only general she had ever really been friends with. "Anyways, what's the gameplan? How are we getting out of here?"

"Tsk..." he hissed slightly as she dared to treat him so roughly, but actually he didn't mind it that much. Her question, was a good one however, they really needed to find a way out, charging head on would be a suicide, therefore the only way to go would be old school. Julian's ears twitched as he listened to every sound in the surrounding area. Two guards. Heh, just what we need. He smirked and sat with his legs crossed eastern style, a mischievous little grin danced on his face as he began to check out Lilli and rub his chin like a perverted old man.
"Now listen up, I need you to do this..." he started to explain. The main idea of the plan, would be that Lilli, spreading all her pheromones in the air, would act like a maiden in distress and attract both guards into the cell, while he is supposed to be still unconscious or unable to move because of his ropes. Then Bam! The guards would be out and they could easily disguise themselves. At least that is what he hoped would happen. Not much choice did thy have.

Lilli rolled her eyes at him- of course, he would come up with that plan. "Oh, the woes of being a beautiful young demon woman," she sighed tragically, then stodd up and gently kicked him over, tying him back up before he could protest. "Don't move, or I'll skin you alive," she hissed, half playful and half serious. Then she sauntered up the the bars, clearing her throat daintily.
"Oh, guards," she said in a silky voice. "Won't you please help me? I've hurt my wrists..." Lilli set her powers from neutral to high- she was half succubus, and her powers were in no way diluted by her mixed blood. She attracted the two guards like moths to a flame.
"I hurt them trying to get out of the ropes- how stupid of me," she said, looking up at them with big eyes. "Won't you kiss it better? I promise I'll behave." The two guards couldn't get the dor opened fast enough- Lilli glanced at Julian, furiously trying to communicate through telepathy. Of course she wasn't telepathic, but maybe if she glared at him hard enough he'd get the idea. If these two try anything funny because you haven't killed them, I swear I'll kick their asses and then kick yours, she thought, then looked up at the two guards and managed an uneasy smile, fluttering her eyelashes.

"Ouch! That hurts, " he whined as she kicked him. He was obviously just playing around, her kick wasn't that strong to actually hurt him, but he liked the idea of making her feel guilty if possible. When on the ground, Julian moved a little more to the corner, leaving his legs in front of him and his head hung low. From the guards point of view, he would look as if he was knocked out and left there.
The demon man then heard Lilli speak in such a seductive tone and in a manner that he had never seen or heard before. If it wasn't for the plan, he would probably end up almost under her feet. The idea irritated him for some reason, that's not quite what he wanted. Either way, that wasn't the time to get delirious, the guards started to make quite a ruckus outside while trying to open the door that it was almost funny. Just then, at one moment, Julian felt a chill come down his spine, he couldn't see it, but he guessed that was Lilli's fault.
Seconds later, the door burst open almost really knocking Julian out, he just grit his teeth and ignored the pain caused by the door slamming to his side. The two guards approached Lilli instantly checking her out with luscious eyes. "W-where did you say it hurt...?" the men could barely speak as their minds were busy with something else. They slowly reached their hands towards the beautiful captive with more than just helpful intentions... Julian, seeing as Lilli was almost being groped, felt anger accumulating somewhere deep inside. He started to undo his ropes, but apparently Lilli tied them a little tighter than she intended which mean that he needed a couple seconds more to let himself free. He just hoped that during those seconds nothing will happen to her...
