Zazu: I think if the things are worth trying on animals Try them on humans. If they are for people then try them on people. You dun see them experimenting on people for drugs for animals do you? So why turn it around and try it on animals? Animals DNA is different from humans. Humans bodies react TOTALLY different then animals do. That is why they should test them on people and not animals. 20000 animals die each year JUST from experimental drugs. Because their DNA codes are nothing like ours.

That's bullshit. A cat/rabbit/dog shares about 95-99% of the same DNA as humans. Many of the drug receptor sites are the exact same.

If we do what you are claiming, and only test on humans, who is going to be the test subject?

Okay. So, we test these drugs on someone who is in jail. How are you going to keep them experimentally controlled? You can't keep them in a cage and feed them a precise diet and allow them to live a precise life. You've never worked in a lab. You have no idea what goes on behind those doors. There are regulations everywhere for making the entire process as humane as possible. It's not like the animals are just tossed around. They are given very healthy lives for what they do.

If you wanna get mad at someone, get mad at the people who mass produce lifestock just to be killed off. Those animals are put in the worst conditions possible and live totally inhumane lives. Are you a vegan? If not, then you are no different than someone who experiments on animals.
