Yakimura Psychic Research Center

Yakimura Psychic Research Center as started by Miyuki Yakimura, she goes around and researches Supernatrual Phenomenomes, and lets everyone know if it was an actual supernatrual event or if it was just something that happened scientificly. As she goes around with her assistant, she meets new people and some of them even join her group. So you can be someone that calls on Miyuki's buisness fro thier help with a problem or just goes to there to find a job.

The setting is mordern day.....Japan i guess.....or anywhere for that matter....i don't have a country in mind so it could be a completely made up one for all i care at the moment. :lol:

RULES

• 1. Standard Mene rules apply
  
  
• 2. Literacy isn’t too important though please don’t capitalize every single word It Gets Really Annoying! One other thing I do require is punctuation that is more than just a comma thrown in here and there. You need at least periods at the end of your sentences otherwise your post becomes too messy and hard to understand. If you don't put at least periods at the end of your sentences then be prepared to get a warning from me. I'm more than willing to work with people and help them out, especially if they're younger or if you're not quite fluent in English grammar or language. Even if you feel the need to PM me your posts to look over before you post it, I'm fine with that and more than willing to help you that way if you need it. Also when you post please don't choose overly bright colors such as lime green or the uber light blue. My eyes are not the best and I get tired of constantly having to highlight the text just to read it. If you want to use color for your text then that's fine, just don't make it really light please!
  
  
• 3. I will accept one liners since I can understand things like writer’s block but, please make it a sentence that people can work off of. Don’t put something like: “He Laughed.” That is not a sentence and it makes it very very difficult to work off of. Something like: “He ran his hand through his hair as he looked boredly around them room, walking off with out ssaying a word.” is easier to work with. However don't claim writer's block the moment after you've join. I swear to all things holy and unholy if you do that I will smack you with a fish. There's a smiley for that now and by god I'm not afraid to use it! When you join you should already have an idea of what you're going to post.
  
  
• 4. Always leave a ‘door’ open for people’s character’s to come in if someone leaves.
  
  
• 5. Don’t go too incredibly far without someone which should help with rule #6, although I can understand excitement or if someone doesn't come on for days.
  
  
• 6. No invincible characters, if they’re really good at something that’s alright but if there’s a fight let them get injured a couple of times if attacked.
  
  
• 7. Don’t take control of other peoples characters unless you have their permission. For example if Lacy needs to go because it’s bed time and says Jack can play her character while she’s gone then that’s alright.
  
  
• 8. Anyone is welcomed to jump in at any time despite the page number.
  
  
• 9. Profile Skeletons are to be sent with a supernatrual creature listted in the title.
  
  
• 10. Please don’t kill another person’s character without their permission. (Note this ties in with #7)
  
  
• 11. Don’t create more characters than you can handle.
  
  
• 12. Keep things PG-17 please. Violence, gore and romance is allowed. However what I don't want to see is nookie alright? You know what's acceptable on here and what's not. If you wish to go overly graphic in something that you know would get the board in trouble then take it to a PM. You can hint to things though if again it's something overly graphic keep the hint vague...
  
  
• 13. Have some way of distinguishing between your character text and you’re out of character (OOC).
  
  
• 14. Ask to join if you want but it’s not required. With your characters please PM me your character profiles to be accepted. Due note that I will be going through and posting up your profiles on my first post, in quotes of course, when they are accepted so that it's easier for others to have access to your characters info. I am a fairly lenient person so more than likely your character will be immediately accepted, due note though if I do find something that needs a bit of improvement I will PM you back telling you what that improvement is. I will also send a confirmation PM to you to tell you that your character has been accepted.
  
  
• 15. Please keep things fairly even. I don’t want one Goodie, one Baddie and 15 undecided. Or 20 females and 2 males.
  
  
• 16. Please, please, please for the love of all things holy and unholy read everyone’s post, even if it was posted before you joined. If you skip reading them you may very well be missing a crucial detail pertaining to the storyline or your character indirectly. I can understand if you didn't see someone's post because someone else's post sort of made it 'hidden' (Do NOT make this excuse a habit out of this though) or posted while you were typing. If it happens that someone posts something while you were making a post then just edit your post a bit to make your post fit if it deals with something you need or should respond to.
  
  
• 17. I don't want creatures to be overly used, such as almost everyone has a problem with the same kind of vampire, were-creature, demon, angel, ect...There's a large variety of things out there you can use for your supernatrual problem.
  
  
• 18. To make sure you've read, understand and are willing to follow my many rules (sorry about that) I would like you to put your favorite smiley (be it a Mene one or a more texty one) either at the top/bottom of your profile PM or in the PM subject area.
  
  
• 19. When you post your intro, and there are separate groups already established in a spot and are doing something, do NOT make it to where they have to drop everything that they are doing and go off to find your character. If you want interaction with your character you have to make it happen. Everyone shouldn't have to stop what they're doing just to come interact with your character. Please understand that there will be a lot of people and if your character isn't interactted with right away then i am sorry, just remember that i am trying hard to get everyone invovle and it may take a while so don't complain.
  
  
• 22. as for human that have powers, try to make it something that is well more real then fake, like pyrokenisis, astroprojection, clearvoence...etc. not something that is made up well not to much on the made up side of things.
  
  
• 21. And one final (hopefully) rule: please be respectful towards others here. It’s alright if your character hates another person’s character, due to the plot of this rp, but don’t be rude, crude, or mean to someone in OOC. I’d like this to go rather peacefully.

I also won't accept mind control over anyone they want. If you want mind control then it can only be over characters not actually played by people. In other words NPC characters only. For example if one of the creatures are deemed a god over everything (not that I would allow that anyways) and can control everything with the wink of his eye, you'll probably will not get that power. Bio/History: Mustard was a homeless boy ever since he was 15 and can't remember anything past 15 years old. Due to lack of human contact Mustard doesn't know many words and survives off of eating trash, bathing in random lakes and ponds and taking shelter in abandoned homes. He named himself Mustard because he heard people saying the word mustard at a restaurant one day. he wanders from place to place in search of something that he doesn't even know about. He only knows that he has to find something...or maybe someone?

Bio/History: Agoni has a history of watching over people his appearance is quite unnerving being about 6ft tall with horns and wing he looks like something straight out of hell, which is why the Yakimura Psychic Research Center watches him on a normal basis not knowing his true intentions

Personality: Iritana is a character. She's loyal to those whom she knows, but it is difficult to get there. She has a sadistic sense of humor and loves to torment others. She's not the type to fear others seeing her true form because she is confident in her abilities, almost to the point of cockiness. She's usually very off putting unless you can either attract her through looks or you gain her respect in other ways, those are usually your only saving graces though it's hard to tell if she's attracted to you seeing as she'll flirt with you anyway.

Powers: Illusionist, shapeshifter, and telepathic. While Iri is an illusionist, what she creates seem so real, at least to those allowed to see them. That's because they are, for the most part. Whatever she creates will stay around as long as they are needed or until the demon wishes them gone, then there is no trace of them.

Bio/History: The Hinapouri clan is a family of loyal servants to a particular demon family. Yet while during Iri's Sire's rule, he was killed as was his sister. That had been the end of the bloodline. During his time though, Iri had been his right hand; proving herself worth his time she quickly became his high general and has killed thousands if not more. Since her Sire's death, the high coucil banished her to the human world in hopes that none of the bloodline existed there. She is trapped within an old, abandoned prison where they can keep an eye on her. Without Sire deceased, the deceit demon's powers were cut greatly. She can't do the same things as she could as a general, like destroy a world in the blink of an eye, or as in far of a radius. Since her arrival a few years ago, the city has been scattered with rumors about her new dwelling.

Other: Being a very old deceit demon, Iri does not seem picky with it comes to her mate selection. She has been known to flirt with and throw passes to both genders without so much as blinking.

Job: She works in a store best described as a store for adults.

Personality: Sitya is a bit shy around people. Mostly this is because she has had a hard time telling between the here and now, and the living and the dead. She does try very hard to help those who need it, even if it leaves her a bit ragged. She really doesn't like touching people though.

Powers: Sitya is able to see Ghosts as well as look into the future and the past, though usually she has no control over this. It frequently happens when she touches things.

Bio/History: Growing up she always was a little bit different. Whether is was talking to people who weren't there, or knowing something that hadn't happened yet. Children teased her and adults, well they didn't know what to do with her.

Her parents finally took her in one day to she a Psychiatrist who recommended medication to solve Sitya's little delusions. She hated it and quickly learned to hide her previous behavior, as well as hide the medication.

Now, finally out of the house she no longer has to hide, but does so still partially out of habit.

Powers: She can dissapear of couse, manipulate objects or "move or play things" Like, she can make music play or slam doors, she can make visions appear in humans heads to make them feel like their seeing things threw her eyes.

Bio/History: During the 1802 in which the time she lived and died, she lived in a nice victorian farmhouse, with a huge pond in the back, a large slaughter house, a guest house, a graveyard, and a black smith shop. Her family was one of the richest in her time, but they weren't rich enough to save her. When she turned 17 she drowned in the pond after screaming for help when no one came. She began to haunt the pond and the house, and the graveyard. The parents up and left and the house became abandonned, until recently.

Job: Helper/only friend of Ikari. She is watched occasionally when some natural disaster happens.

Personality: Shy, yet kind, Zefie isn't much of a talker, more of an observer. She very rarely approaches people, instead, she tends to "stalk" them. Seeing them from a distance before confronting them. She can be easily manipulated, and very clumsy, but can blend in well with the human society.

Powers: Regeneration [She's a spirit of the angery dead.] Destructive Weather [tornadoes, earthquakes, etc. She only uses this when she herself is threatened.], and can make food come out of the air. [i lol at that, for some reason that seems cool to me....]

Bio/History: Zefie had died and was reborn again multiple times. Currently she's with Ikari, a serial killer who has killed thousands of lives. She takes care of the policemen, and gets rid of any obstacles in his way.

Personality: Manipulative and blood thirsty, Ikari is extremely bitter and cruel to anyone who tries to approach him besides Zefie. He's sneaky, a trickster, and will do anything for a fight.

Powers: Pyrokenisis, and Teleportation.

Bio/History: He was abandoned at the age of 8, and had slowly become completely insane over the past 10 years. The many years wandering out on the streets had made him bitter, cold, and full of hate. As he was killing his lastest victim, Zefie had slowly formed from the pool of blood that the corpse had spurted. She had told him that she was to watch over him since the "dead" have started to grow angry with him. After a few weeks, he got used to her presence, Zefie was like a little sister he never had.

Personality: Nao's a pretty laid-back kind of guy. he can be pretty lazy lazy at times or really serious at others. Really it depends.

Powers: 1) Flight, obviously since he sorta kinda has wings
2)Illusionist, just something he picked up during his lifetime
3)Healing, depending on the severity of the wound he may or may not be adversely affected by this

Bio/History: Nao doesn't talk much about his past. Any publicly known information about him would be mostly what Miyuki would divulge about him. He showed up a few years ago on her doorstep, asking to be allowed to form a partnership with her. Though they were both young he knew there was something special about her and wanted to befriend her. He gave her no information as to why he was by himself or how he had found her. He merely asked that she trusted him.
Besides that, he tends to do a lot of recon work for Miyuki. The most recent mission he was sent out on was to investigate the rumored location of a Hinapouri Clan demon that went by the name Iritana

Other: He likes many things, but he also dislikes an equal amount of things. As for preferences in a mate...either gender works for him. He doesn't discriminate. Also, besides his ability to over accessorize somehow, he has multiple piercings in both ears and a tattoo that covers the right side of his body, stretching from shoulder to just above his waist-bone, (his right our left).

Bio/History: He can fight, but it's the basics and nothing more as of yet. His parents were abusive of him, since he was never quite what they wanted of their son. He wasn't an athletic one, and more studious than anything. Since he got picked on a lot, it was one day that he found out about his healing abilities. He's a librarian in training at the moment, and isn't really aware of many other supernaturals. Aiden can fight, but it's the very basics and they're only for when necessary.

Personality: Cheerful and happy go lucky, but she's a maniacal girl. She's pretty devious, and uses her childish looks and personality to get away with most of anything. She does have a kind heart though, when not on the job or in one of her moods.

Powers: She can control the wind and can shape-shift into a fox, or a fully humanesque form.
Bio/History: She has one brother, who's also in the hired help division, though he goes off and travels. They both hate each other, so it's all fine and dandy with her. If they got together, the results would be bloody. She had her godparents, but something happened to them, which resulted in her being taken in by a male, that was Aiden. He couldn't help but feel bad for a young girl. He now has her as a bodyguard. Sure she's younger, but she can take care of him well enough, if ever the time needed. He did attract other unsavory people, so she was well entertained. When not on the job, she acts like she's his younger sister, and full of mischief.

As usual Agoni wanders about the streets late at night, wandering his favorite spots at the park. He is gaining quite a name for himself in the media, he is also called the great winged demon, threw out the night little punk teens try to track him down like any other super natural creature... I wish they would leave me alone...he says softly cloaking himself in a tall oak tree, watching the small flashlights dancing about the park just like every other night he sighs this looks like a good place to stay maybe tomorrow they will go away...

Miyuki or Yakimura as most people called her was making her way towards the new spot that Agoni was hidding out at, she was pulling a late shift as always but she still had to check up on the demon to make sure that he was doing fine and not doing things he wasn't suppose too. Mustard was with her of course, consedering that she couldn't exactly leave him alone, finding him in a supposiedly haunted house was a stroke of luck, she had her normal straight face on, and her black pin-striped suit, rectangular glasses on and her long black hair up in a bun at the base of her neck. "Agoni." she said to the trees in the park, knowing her was there considering the device she had in her hand was beeping rather loudly and would continue to do so until she turnned it off, it was labeled Agoni - Demon?, she had one for each supernatrual creature that she was servellianceing regularly, only turnning it on when it was time to check up on them.

Mustard excitedly followed behind Yakimura looking left and right around the park. His eyes sparkled at the sight of the outside world and his mind filled up with all the food he could savage from the trash bins placed around the park. He began to salivate at the thought and completely tuned out the loud beeping and the situation. All the thoughts about food made his belly grumble and said the word he knows best "Fooooood"

Agoni swung from a branch like a magnet he hung upside down his wings folded across his chest like a bat Yes? he said with a slight irritation in his voice, he glanced at mustard with a slight smile I found this for you today he pulled a small bag out of his jacket and gave it to mustard it was full of all kinds of snacks and candies

Miyuki's lip twitched slightly, before it callasped back into the serious look that it was always in, she looked the very tall man over as she kept and eye on Mustard. "It is time for your regular check up as you know. So the usuall questions and i assume i will be getting the usuall answers." she said to the night spirit as she turnned her device off and tucked it into the bag that she was carrying, standing her ground as she was careful of who was around them, watching what they were doing or saying. She shoved her glasse back up the bridge of her nose as she kept them from slipping off, they were more there to make her look more mature, but being young and just starting out in a buisness is hard when everyone looks down on you because of how old you are, she was still trying to figure out exactly what Agoni is even with her vaste knowledge of the supernatrual, somethings just took more time then others.

Mustard instantly snapped back into reality and happily took the bag from Agoni. Opening the bag and finding snack and candies, Mustard began to do celebratory dance. A little ritual he always does when he gets a lot of food. Raising his arms in the air he jumps up and says "Yea! Yea! Yea!" On the third jump he lands in a ball position on the floor and then raises up with both arms stretched high and releases a "Cheeeeers!" A little dance he learnt watching people at sports bars celebrate a winning team. Mustard quickly began to jam the food in his mouth with his eyes sparkling with happiness.

Katie watched from the top of the hill. Her home was very close to the park, but far away from most houses. Though, her house wasn't hers anymore. New people had moved in and her 'life' was now falling to peices. She had to get these people out of her home. The pond was actually very close to the park so most kids..fished in it or swam. Never realizing that her corpse was at the bottom. It had never been found..so she wasn't at rest. The graveyard was deep in the woods behind the house where her grave stone stood along with her families, even though there was nothing under her stone but dirt. Her family had thought it would make her happy to atleast have a stone. She sighed to herself hearing the children upstairs blasting their radio up as loud as they could. She brushed her bangs out of her face, feeling her soft skin. See, her true form as where half her body was decayed and showed her bones, and the other half as beautiful as the day before she drowned. But she hated her true form, so she stayed looking like the way she had before death. Skinny, pretty, and always looking like she was hiding something. In her mind, humans were made for everything, love, hate, sadness, every emotion. But they weren't made to feel lonely.

Now that is over with, don't forget to keep the tracking device on you at all times and i will be checking up on you in two months." Miyuki said to Agoni as she looked over at Mustard, a smile pulling at her face for a split second before it took on it's normal serious look, she tucked a stay hair back into the neat bun that she had it in before she turnned her full attentin back to Agoni, she had been trying to train Mustard but it was hard to do when he just couldn't mental progres any further then what he was.

Shivers ran down Mustards spine as an unfamiliar presence, Katie, was looking at them. With a worried expression he swung his head left and right looking for the source, unable to locate it he nervously continued to jam food in his mouth at a faster rate than before.

Sitya headed quickly around a corner, ducking as a stick went flying through the air, straight for her head. It bounced off a tree and landed in the grass beside her. At the very least here in the park there was nothing expensive and breakable, unlike back at work. She could feel he tears welling up again and she struggled, blinking to keep them from falling. Things had been bad before, but never like this. Never this violent. Sitya didn't know what he was or how to get rid of him, but that's all she could really wish for at this point.

Sinking into the grass she stared up at the figure who glowered back down at her, eyes filled with hate.

"I don't know what I did to you, but please if there is any way I can make amends I will you just have to tell me. Please?" She knew it was probably futile to try. She had attempted in the past to get him to talk and she had never been good at dealing with the dead. She could see and speak with them, but that was about it. They rarely if ever listened to her.

Sure enough he just kept staring at her with a look that made her shiver.
