i bought ponya before i saw it... but i think it was alright enough... there were a couple of his movies i don't think i'd ever buy... but i have seen a lot of them

Here are my reasons:
A) I've been craving a Folk theme for AGES. :gonk:
B) The theme of this event kinda goes with it... :ninja:
C) I'm too lazy to put up a poll within an appropriate amount of time, as always. :roll:

me tooo, ZEAP!! i didn't like 'castle in the air' or 'the house of many ways' as much as 'howl's moving castle' but they weren't bad and howl is always funny... in 'house of many ways' he was hysterical!

I remember seeing Kiki's Delivery Service when I was, what, eight? :lol: I LOVED it! Was my first Miyazaki film too. :D

And then I saw Spirited Away practically RIGHT when it was released in the US... When I was nine. :P
Spirited Away will always be my favorite Miyazaki film. :heart:

kiki's was technically my first miyazaki movie, but i was like 10 so i had no idea who he was... but my first knowing was spirited away and i loooove that one tooo!!!!

Kiki's was my first film also, my first taste into any asian animation.

my first was kiki and I loved it. I wanted to watch it over and over. spirited away and ponyo are the only other ones I've seen so far. howl's moving castle is on my list though.

I have a few Cowboy Bebop mangas... I went through a brief manga phase in... 2006? Through to 2007, I imagine. :sweat:

I'm looking to get back into the anime/manga scene, although hardcore anime/manga fans kinda scare me. :gonk:
But yeah. I have the whole .Hack/SIGN series on DVD, I have that Final Fantasy movie on DVD (forget its name), I have the first six volumes of xxxHOLiC, and... Three Cowboy Bebop mangas.

I also had other stuff, like the first volume of Rozen Maiden, um... Alichino... I think that's it?

I've only seen The Cat Returns. (That is a Miyazaki film, right? oO) And I haven't watched anime in ages. Apparently it is not like crack to me.

fullmetal alchemist was my first series!!! i happened to catch it on adult swim as it was starting over again... i saw it as a sign!

It was pretty awesome. If you like a lil romance/action and vampires ^^

i've seen spirited away, kiki's delivery service, the cat returns (i believe), nausicaa, and one with racoons that is just distrubing

Linn: No idea who that voice actor is. (I watched the subbed version, anyway. Because it was free and online.)
