She was born in Russia, but came over to the US when she was a kid... Grew up somewhere in New York state, although she attended high school in NJ. :)

Facade, it sounds like she has a really cool history. I love it when singer-songwriters have backgrounds like that. Gives them more to sing and write about.

That's good. The best version I found doesn't have a proper video and the version that does is more clubby, well not really, just it doesn't sound as folkish :P
