Slightly stunned by his last comment, Vivi felt herself blush. "I-I see," she managed to sputter out, wincing at the sound of her own voice. It was alway bad when one's own confidence fled them, especially in such situations. "Thank you, Theo," she finished after a moment, though her face was no less pink than before.
((Terrible post, I'm sorry >.< ))

Theo was sort of flattered that she reacted like she did. He loved that, but didn't want for her to know it, it'd make her more awkward. "No problem." He smiled a little down at her.

Still a loss for words, she nodded her head in reply, trying to regain whatever of her shredded composure was left. Come on, Vivi, remember Tutor's lessons, she thought vigorously. Unfortunately for her, her blush returned at full force when she saw him smile at her.
"Well then..." she started, shifting her cobalt eyes embarrassedly away.

Theo just couldn't help but let his smile get bigger. When they got to the edge of town without being recognized, he let out a small relieved sigh. "Alright. You may get on now."

Hearing this, she couldn't help but look warily at the horse, watching it for a few seconds before nodding. True, this horse didn't seem to mind her at all, but that didn't necessarily make her feel entirely comfortable. "Alright," Viv replied after a second before lifting herself up onto its back before looking down to Theo a grinning slightly.

Theo watched her, moving his hands to where he could help her if she needed it. "Alright. I'll walk." He smiled and started to lead the horse off for a moment. Then glanced behind him, slightly paranoid.

Tilting her head to the side fractionally in confusion as he looked behind them, her eyes narrowed slightly when she realized exactly why he did. "I do not hear anyone behind us," she said after a moment, her ears twisting behind her so that she could hear better.

Theo shrugged slightly. "Can never be too careful." He was just slightly paranoid, after what had happened, could anyone really blame him? He needed to get out of there fast...something was just buggin him.

"True," she replied after a moment, though his cautiousness also made her slightly paranoid. Was there something actually in the town that warranted his reaction? If so, why didn't I feel anything, she asked herself inwardly, trying to comfort herself, though it only backfired, making her all the more wary. "Well, we should hurry then, I suppose."

Theo looked at her after about three or four minutes. "Sorry for worrying you. Didn't mean to." He suddenly hoisted himself up into the horse, right behind her. He wrapped his arms around her and grabbed the reins. "Hold on." He then spurred the horse gently to get him to get into a run.

"No need to be concerned about that," she replied automatically, to focused on listening behind her to notice how her speak became slightly more formal. Nor the fact that he was getting on the horse until he felt him hop on behind her. Blushing once again as she felt his arms go around her waist. Closing her eyes automatically as the horse began to run, Vivi slowly opened her eyes before looking up at him, her hood slipping slightly off of her head.

Theo didn't mind, nor did he pay much attention to her reaction to him grabbing the reins. He needed the horse to go faster so that he could get away from the town as fast as he could. For his and her sakes. Though he did look at her when she looked up at him. He just smiled a little down at her, it looked sort of cute the way she was looking at him.

Blinking for a moment when he looked down at her, she looked down to the road hurriedly, though she herself was slightly confused by her own reaction.
She found it odd how she reacted around Theo. Then again, it was probably because she hadn't traveled with another person for quite some time. And she would be lying if she said that he wasn't good looking.
"How come you smile at me so much," she asked automatically. "Do I amuse you?" Vivi continued after a moment, curious.

Theo looked down at her after awhile, slowing the horse to a trot. "Well, because I like the effect it has on you. Besides....I enjoy seeing you happy." He seemed slightly embarrased by answering, but he didn't take anything back.

Blinking at his straightforward answer, Vivi once again blushed a deep scarlet, though she chuckled lightly at the same time. "I see," she replied after a moment, watching the road before them. Unable to help herself, she replied the nights events in her mind, realizing just how little time the two had known each other. Yet...she trusted him. An odd thing considering, yet he had risked quite a lot helping her.
"So, Theo, where did you come from before the town?"

Theo smiled a little at her reaction, liking that it hadn't bothered her too much. When she looked ahead, he seemed to relax, thinking that he didn't have any more questions to worry about. Then he seemed to tense slightly at her question. "Came from the north...from the boundless sea to the north." His voice seemed sort of distant.

"Oh? I have never seen the sea before," she remarked casually, trying to pretend that she didn't notice his reaction to the question. Then again, she supposed that she should have. All the same, she figured that it would probably be for the best to let this particular subject drop.

Theo's arms gently tightened around her, unnoticed by him. It was sort of comforting reflect to himself. He didn't really like how he'd sounded, making things look like there was something very wrong with him.

Feeling his arms tighten around her, Vivi blushed slightly and blinked, though the movement was gentle. In a way it was odd how comfortable it felt. And she couldn't help but wonder, was that because she now had company, a friendly face after so many months of solitude. Or was it because he was simple Theo, and that something about him drew her attention. Slowly, her smile grew somewhat.

Once they were out of sight and sound of the town, Theo stopped the horse and looked around a little. "Well, which way would you like to go? West, then south? Or East, then south?"

"West first, I suppose," she replied instantly, still somewhat lost in gin her though. She didn't know exactly why she suggested it, perhaps it was because she was unconsciously thinking about her past home, but she didn't wish to dwell on it.

"Talk," she repeated back softly, raising a slim finger to tap her chin lightly as she thought. "Hm, well then. Do you have any siblings," she asked after a moment, unable to think about anything else besides her own family.

The subject of family didn't have a great effect on Theo, but he tried to stay civilized. "I have one brother."

Not realizing the effect her words had, Vivi nodded her head, simply watching the road ahead of her. "I have two. One is barely older than me, but the other is young," she told him evenly, picturing her older brother. She hadn't seen him since she had left home, hadn't even heard anything about what had happened to him, much less the rest of her family.
