Cormac took a moment to wake up, and when he did he was fully disoriented. He looked around quickly before realizing where he was. He then sighed, dropping his head into his hands. "Okay, that's it. I'm not sleeping," he muttered through his hands.

Serena frowned and petted Cormac's hair. "I wish there was something we could do... I hate seeing you like this" she told him quietly before pecking his lips lightly.

"Well, sleeping on the floor probably doesn't help," Cassiel's voice comments from the door way, making Cormac jump. Cormac groans and rolls away. "Go away, you pest. How'd you get up here anyway...?" He sighed at Serena. "I'll be fine. It's just the time of the year acting up on me..."

Serena grinned "mm... lucky. I get it every month" she remarked with a wink as she curled up to him. "You sure you'll be alright?" she asked in a worried tone.

Cormac rolled his eyes. "Mm-hm." He then frowned at Cassiel. "Why're you staring at me.? That's beyond creepy." "We need to talk. Now. And you stuck me with Ang all night. She tried to kill me." He whined the last part, frowning back.

Serena raised her eyebrow "why didn't she just go home? it's not like she actually likes the people living here. She also has no business here anymore... why stay?" she asked Cassiel, rather annoyed that her idiot in tin foil was being taken away from her.

"She said she had unfinished business with our green haired hermit." Cassiel shrugged. He then eyed Cormac. "But she's not the topic of the conversation I want to have with you." "Bite me. I know what you wanna talk about, and I don't. And if you do your creepy thing you'll see why." Cormac stayed facing away from Cassiel and closed his eyes.

Serena looked between the two and pouted, crossing her arms. She looked very much like a two-year-old throwing a tantrum... without the violent thrashing. "You know what? I really hate it when you two talk to me about something I know nothing about. I'm not a child!" she argued.

"I'm naturally vague, and Cormac's...himself." Cassiel chuckled before just staring at Cormac. "Today, dear." Cormac ignored him, keeping his eyes closed. His body is slightly tense, showing his annoyance.

Serena let out a frustrated and slightly angry sigh. She stood up and laid back on the bed, under the covers, with her back to the both of them. If they were going to keep her out of the loop and ignore her, then she could easily... well... she could do the same. It would kill her, knowing how much she loved and needed Cormac, but she was determined to do it. What they did naturally hurt her, she wanted to make them realize that.

"Cormac, now. I'm not joking around today." Cassiel snaps. "No. I am not having this conversation. I know that I'm an idiot. You don't need to tell me that. I also know that this is what my sister would want, do not say I'm wrong. This is my life, and for once I'm happy and not worrying about being set off and killing another person like I did my parents, and almost sister. So no. I'm not doing this. So stop trying." Cassiel listens calmly. "...That's not what I wanted to talk about, actually."

Serena's eyes welled up with tears as she listened to their conversation. She kept her head and eyes faced towards the wall, though. She couldn't legitimately fake sleep, but she could show that she was ignoring them. She hurt for Cormac... but she also hurt for herself. I'll talk to him later about it, she decided.

Cormac lifted his eyes. "What then?" Cassiel fidgeted. "Um...Well... Angenithreatenedthatifyoucamenearheragainshe'dkill Serena," he blurted out in one long jumbled mess. Cormac's shoulders rise. "I'll kill her first. You know she'll try to bait me anyway." His voice was deathly calm. He understood, now, why Cassiel wanted him alone.

Serena's fingers drew small designs on the bed sheets. She'd heard Cassiel, and somehow managed to separate the mess into individual words, understanding its meaning. She sighed heavily and curled up. Why would Cormac go near Ange anyway? what business would he have with her? Once again, she fought down the urge to speak. She wanted to get her point across... besides... she didn't want to interrupt them. She just hoped that Cormac would pay attention by the time she fell asleep.

Cassiel shrugged. "I assume from what I gathered, it also means if you go near Kota or anyone in the camp, for any reason..." Cassiel shuffled a bit away from Cormac, knowing he was close to losing his temper. "I'll just end it all." That was his only response, and his didn't elaborate what he meant. He just slid back onto the bed and stared bitterly at the wall, running things through his mind. His hands were shaking slightly, but he didn't notice. "Cormac...what are you planning...?" Cassiel asked quietly. He sounded worried.

Serena closed her eyes and sighed slightly. She turned her head slight, moved her hand, and grabbed Cormac's, before ignoring him again. She didn't want to move, but she allowed herself to hold his hand.

"Well, I'm not moving. I've been here longer. I'm thinking about enlisting Hilan's help." He rested against her slightly, closing his eyes. "You could always go to the General if it gets too bad..." He sounded slightly afraid of that prospect.

Serena smiled when she felt Cormac rest against her. She still didn't quite understand why this was a problem, though. Surely there were other things to do other than go near anyone Ange was connected to... right? She laced her fingers through Cormac's and pulled his arm around until his hand was resting on her stomach. It hurt to be this close to him when he just kept her out of the loop. He always spoke half truths around her. He doesn't necessarily ignore her, but he doesn't tell her what's really going on.

"Oh, yeah. The man that tried to rape me. ...Over-sexual whore. And no. He doesn't care about anything to do with the natives. He made that quite clear when Sera died. So, no. I'll do this myself." He stayed resting against her. He didn't intentionally keep things from her, he just didn't realize she wanted to know. Or didn't know how to explain to someone that didn't live there.

Serena leaned back into Cormac's warmth. She just... wanted to be a part of his life. She wanted to be his girlfriend and help him through his pain... but she couldn't do any of that if he wouldn't even tell her what's going on. Her eyes softly fluttered closed, the events of the day finally catching up to her. She was exhausted, which made her happy. That meant that if Cormac rolled away from her, the nightmares still wouldn't come. They never came when she was exhausted.

Cassiel frowned. "Hm. ...I could talk to him..." he murmured, before getting glowered at. "Fine...I'll go. Find me when you wake up...." Cassiel slowly left. Cormac sighed and stared at the wall. He didn't plan on sleeping, now.

Hearing Cassiel leave, Serena turned over until she was facing Cormac. "You going to be ok?" she asked, brushing some hair away from his face.

"Mm-hm. I'm not gonna be sleeping though," he noted. "I'll be keeping guard, my dead-like sleep won't help with that." He seemed to still be annoyed, but was trying to be okay for her sake. He didn't want to upset her.

Serena nuzzled close to Cormac "you should sleep. What could you possibly be on guard for? It's not like anyone is going to come in here. Normally... fine, I'd understand it. But you haven't done anything to provoke anyone to come in the bedroom and harm you or me, or whoever. You really should sleep" she reasoned quietly.

Cormac raised an eyebrow. "I provoked Ang by existing and having a girlfriend. And she's brain-washed people into hating me." He looked a bit amused at that. He cuddled against her contently. "But, she's pissed at me now, which is normal, but meh. I'm paranoid," he stated, sounding a tad too cheerful about that. It was part of his personality, so it couldn't be helped.
