"Uh, actually, I have no idea. It's been years since I've tried to do anything." He rolls his eyes. "I'm a full blown hermit. We can go wander and see if there's anything, though..."

Serena nodded "let's do that. If anything else, we'll be wandering around, that in and of itself can prove to be entertaining" she pointed out and also romantic... let's see if I can go by without flirting with him, she thought to herself as she rested her chin on her knee.

Cormac nods. "That works. The last I remember there's a small town about fifteen minutes away from here. I'm not sure if it's still here, but we can go take a look." With that, he stands up and pulls out a small knife from his drawers, pocketing it. He waits for her, contently.

Serena hopped off of the counter and followed him. "So what do you think we'll find in the town?" she asked, allowing herself to take the moment and really look at him. He was quite handsome, and his kind attitude just added to it. He almost reminds me of Jake... except... I was never romantically interested in Jake. I never will be. Cormac... I could see myself enjoying a romantic relationship with him very much, she mused as they walked,

"People," he states, grinning. "Heh. There'll probably be things to do, but I'm not sure how technologically advanced the town is yet..." He hops on the wagon after hooking a different horse up, helping her up. "Oh, and don't be surprised if we get stared at. Most people in the town have heard of me, but not seen me in years. And you're new." He shrugs, not worried.

Serena sighed "great... just what I've always wanted... to be stared at. I suppose it can't be helped... they probably don't get very many new people" she said, smiling at him as thanks for helping her in. "I still find it baffeling, though, that you're a computer programer... engineer person... thing... yet there aren't any such things as cars or the like. It's like... stuck in the old west with a random splotch of modern-day advancements" she told him.

Cormac chuckles. "I know. Not many people here like change. I, however, don't mind it so the computer was a logical step for me. We have a lot of older people here who like it the way it is. But the people I communicate with wouldn't mind the changes I have in mind. And it doesn't help how expensive these things are. ...Though more practical." He rolls his eyes as a small, demon-like boy jumps in front of the wagon. "Yes, boy?"

Serena nodded as Cormac explained their technology to her. She then jumped a few inches when the small boy appeared. Where did that boy come from? Don't tell me that if I'd been paying attention and not oggling Cormac lick a lovesick schoolgirl that I'd have seen him! she ranted in her head.

The small boy jumps up and begins sniffing Serena. "Yoo-man." Cormac facepalms, trying not to snicker. "Uh-huh. Kid, where's your parents. And it's rude to--" He snickers a bit. "Sniff people."

Serena shyed away from the boy when he started to sniff her "what the heck? Get away from me, kid!" she demanded, stopping herself from pushing him away just in time. Rude or not, he was a kid. It would not be a good idea to push him.

The boy pouts. He then looks at Cormac as a woman runs over. "Malem!" she scolds. She then looks over at them. "I'm so sorry..." Cormac chuckles. "No harm done. Right, Serena?"

Serena glared at Cormac "yeah... all he was doing was sniffing me... for unknown reasons" she responded, trying to be polite. "Might I ask why he was doing that, though?" she asked. As the person whose personal space had just been tremendously violated, she believed she had the right to ask why it was violated such.

The woman smiled. "He's only smelled or even seen one other human, so he was curious." She puts him on the ground. "I truly am sorry, though."

Serena blinked and shrugged "I guess I really am an anomaly... I suppose it's ok, I had a similar reaction when I first met Cormac. Isn't that right cuddle bug?" she asked, talking in a "cute" voice at the end and pinching Cormac's cheek.

The woman chuckle's eying Cormac. "You're Sera's older brother, right?" Cormac, who was pouting at Serena, nods. "Yup. And I am in no way cuddly. Or a bug. Also, I enjoy being abnormal."

Serena grinned evily in her mind let's see what it takes to annoy him... shall we? she thought. She continued her actions "what are you talking about? You're very cuddly! Remember this morning?" she asked, deciding to leave the rest of that statement open to interpretation. She was curious to see his reaction.

Cormac pouts more. "Nuu. And...that sounds sexual. And I'm a wolf. Wolves are not cuddly."He folds his arms, looking quite like a stubborn two-year old.

Serena raised an eyebrow "what are you talking about? Wolves are fluffy. Fluffy means cuddly. Therefore, Wolves are cuddly. You have no arguement" she stated.

"Wolves also bite. Which is not cuddly. It's painful." He frowns, folding his arms. "Where's a lake when I need one?" He seems to still be teasing.

"I bite too, does that mean I'm not cuddly? Because believe me, I can find more than one person that will testify otherwise. Maybe that means I'm a wolf" Serena shot back. "Why in the world do you need a lake?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

"No, that makes you cannibalistic." He grins, slowly. "Oh, no reason." His eyes are sparkling with amusement, though.

"Suspicious...." Serena said while eyeing Cormac. "Either way, it doesn't make me cannibalistic, because I said I bite, I never said I eat what I bite. You've never had a girlfriend bite you while you were seriously making out?" she asked.

"Never had a girlfriend," he responds. He didn't seem upset about that, and seeing the female he'd hung around before Serena, one could see why. He runs a hand through his hair and begins moving again.

Serena raised an eyebrow and gave him a once-over with her eyes "why?" she asked. It certainly wasn't because he wasn't attractive. "Though... I probably shouldn't ask that question, I've never had a boyfriend. The closest I had was Jake, and I was no where near dating him" she pointed out.

Cormac grins. "I'm a hermit remember? And the only woman I've been near before you was Ang. And I'd die before I dated her." He rolls his eyes at the thought' "Trust me, the few times I went out I've been hit on."
