What grade are you going to be in this school year? I'll be a 10th grader. Anybody nervous about sophmore, freshman,junior, or senior year? I'm just glad I don't have to put up with being called fresh meat and fishy.

I will be a senior. I'm nervous about not getting into the college I want. Other than that, and taking care of the crap that goes with that, senior year's gonna be a breeze.

What college are you looking into? I still haven't narrowed my list down. I have to take some SAT prep courses. ugh

I have to take my SATs. I haven't done any of that. But I am doing some SAT prep stuff.

I'm looking into AMDA, AADA, CWU, UW, AI of Seattle, and Cornish. CWU is my top choice, though.

My dream school is Harvard. I'm going to shoot for others like USC, Dartmouth, Stonehill, Mount Holyoke, etc. though. I have to mentor a newbie freshman to show them the ropes. =P haha being a sophmore ought to be so much fun. We get to rule the freshman and part of the cafeteria. But i'll be nice to the freshies.

One of my best friends is going to be a sophomore.

Anyway, start planning for college and stuff like that now. The earlier you get it done, the better.

I'll be in 10th grade too. I don't like my 1st semester classes (PE & lots of classes without friends.. although I guess that's a good way to make new ones), but I adore the 2nd. I haven't even thought about college yet, but I do know what job I'd like.

what job do you want? i'm not sure if i got any classes with friends but most likely. our school is pretty small.

I've actually graduated last year so no school for me. ^_^

My school is pretty small, too. We have in our entire school about the same amount of students as one grade level in one of our neighbor school.

And when I was in 10th grade going through all those PE classes and stuff, I didn't really have friends in my classes with me.

I don't k what I am in the American grades, but I'm in my second to last year of high school. we're halfway through the school year now.

It makes me mad though because I got my crush to sign up with me. We even got the same teacher, just different periods! :illgetu:

Now, basically all my friends are in most of my classes (We're choir and drama nerds) and we go to lunch together and stuff like that.

So, if you end up not getting your friends in your classes, you can always try to find some other time to hang out with them.

dang that sucks. i remember when i was a freshie and i had a crush on a sophmore. i practically stalked him and tried to get in the same club (robotics) which wasnt my thing. xD

Ugh... I dropped out and got a 2 year degree from a college instead... I hated highschool... was miserable

I took a year of college, but I was miserable there. Not my scene. But I never dropped out, I took Running Start. High school students starting their junior year can take college courses at our local community college if we pass the COMPASS test. Next year, I'm just going to high school. I want another year to be a kid.

The Wandering Poet - Sorry it was horrible for you. Guessing it was the people? Understandable, most in my school are douches. Only one girl is mean to me though, but I don't like her either, so it's all good.

it failed epically! i ended up hating robotics AND he didnt even like me. i knew it because i was a freshman. he had a gf. =P
