I'm not sure about the gameplay. Or not having two classes in the new one. O.O But I used to play. I got all the campaigns, but I never actually got around to playing Eye of the North.

The new one will essentially still have two classes. Except one class is your Race. Each Race is supposed to have its own strengths and weaknesses, and its own abilities. My assumption would be that the Ranger would probably work best with Sylvari and Warrior with the Norn or Charr. Can't wait to see what new professions are gonna be released, though. I neeed to see Nec and Mes on that list. D<

I haven't played Guild Wars, but I am drooling over the upcoming Guild Wars 2. Still not release date but the graphics look beautiful and it looks like the gameplay is going to be epic. Can't wait!

"Honestly buy one of the 4 games before getting the new one. The new one is just a remake of Prophersies from what I hear. Also Eye of the North is a popular one to play on from my panda sister. You can get the bundle of the 1st three games from them too at a decent price."

You also need one of the original first three to play Eye of the North because it's an actual expansion pack.

"The Nightfall and Factions are expansions themselves but I agree with Wiggly, that you need atleast one of the three games to play EOTN (Eye of the North). Factions and Nightfall have some good expansion characters to play on. I think I like the Ritualist and the Assassin more than the basic classes to pick from. Ritualist looks awesome next to Necromancer." Drools.
