Theo happily cut up carrots and potatoes, picked the peas from their pods and some other veggies. His head snapped up when he heard her scream, but didn't go to the room or say anything. Kirse had jumped right to his feet, alert. Her quickly went to her door and sort of scratched at it to see if she was alright.

Casey heard the scratching and immidiately knew it was Kirse "oh yeah, like I'm going to let that monster in here. If they want in, they're going to have to try a lot harder than that" she muttered, ignoring the door.

Kirse looked as confused as a wolf could look. Then he started whinning and scrathing at the door. Theo sighed and looked down the hall. "Kirse! Stop that. You're libel to scratch right through it."

Casey snorted when she heard Theo yell, "monster" she muttered. Admit it, you're getting attatched to him. Theo too, the voice responded. "I THOUGHT I GOT RID OF YOU!!!" she screeched. You can't get rid of me, I'm your sub-concious. I am the voice of all your hidden thoughts, feelings, and desires. Believe me when I say, you like him. Both of them, the voice answered. "I AREADY TOLD YOU! I DON'T LIKE THEM!!!!!" she screeched, her throat hurting from such an action.

Kirse whinned loudly, now scratching at the door frantically, as if Theo had given him the perfect idea. Theo had a sort of freaked out and worried expression on his face.

Casey's head and eyes snapped towards the door once she hear Kirse scratch harder. Her eyes bugged out and she backed up against the wall as far a she could, she wanted to be as far away from him if and when he broke through. "What the heck is that monster trying to pull? she asked herself.

Kirse kept at it, whinning more, adding a small sort of bark to it. Theo sighed and finally came over wiping his hands. He tried the handle, when the door wouldn't budge, he sighed. "You know he's only worried because you were screamin, right?"

"Why would that monster be worried about me?" Casey shot back, kicking the door for good measure. "Besides, can't a girl talk to herself every now and then?" she asked, kicking the door again, unknowingly setting free a few of the things holding the door closed.

Kirse jumped back from the door when it was kicked with a whimper. Then he set at scratching at the door again. Theo was getting angry. "You can talk to yourself, but refrain from letting the whole world hear your conversation." His voice bit. He kneeled by Kirse and tried to get him to look at him, gently. But, Kirse was still worried about her and scratching a the door frantically.

Casey screeched wth rage again and kicked the door, harder han the first two had been. "If that voice tries to speak right now, I swear I'll do more than screech at it" she muttered darkly. She walked over to the bed, laid down and curled up into the fetal position. "Who is he to tell me what to do? He doesn't have any right. He's just a rude, pretty boy, jerk. He only cares about himself. He doesn't have any right to order me around" she whimpered quietly, slowly allowing herself to let the tears fall. And they did.

Kirse nearly jumped out of his skin, he sounded as if he'd been hit. He ran down the hall with his tail between his legs whimpering. Theo stood up, looking dumbfolded. He'd never seen Kirse like that, then rage slowly built inside him. He was so angry he could put his hand through the wall.

Casey stared at the ceiling as she cried. Sewas vaguely aware that the scratchng had stopped. She was probably going to confront Theo soon. She'd probably scared the monster away. "Serves him right. He scared me half to death and Theo kidnapped me, it's only fair that I scare that onster half to death an make Theo's life as miserable as possible" se muttered, her voice shaking from the crying.

Theo turned his anger on the door, kicking it so hard fell to the floor hard and slid across the floor. Theo had a look of fury on his face.

Casey winced when the door broke down. She curled up and faced the wall, away from Theo. She didn't want to see him, more so, she didn't want him to see her cry. "Go away" she pleaded in a pathetic voice. "I've had a rough day, I'm allowed to freak out now and then" she told him.

Theo growled deep in his throat and kept himself from going any closer to her then about a couple feet from the bed. "You can freak out on me all you want, but I WILL not stand for you mistreating Kirse. He's done nothing but correct your manners."

Casey whirled around and faced Theo "nothing but correct my manners? If I'm not mistaken, the first thing he did was threaten to attack me! Playing or not, that was not correcting my manners. I was minding my own business when he showed up!" she yelled at him, her voice going hoarse from screeching and crying, tears were still streaming down her face. "In all reality I hate him even more than I hate you! You took me from my home, but eventually I'll go home. Him, I thought he was going to kill me!" she pointed out.

Theo growled and stepped up to her, right in her face. "If you ever do anything like that to him again....you won't live to regret it." He was extremely protective of his friends. He'd do anything.

"Then kill me!" Casey shot back, holding eye contact with him, not even flinching at how close he was close enough to kiss... the voice said "shut up" she muttered and returned to Theo "Why even allow me to do it again? Obvoiusly you're ticked about what happened, so why allow me to do it again? Because you know that if he comes near me it will. Why don't you kill me now and protect him from a repeat experience?" she demanded.

Theo growled at her when she challenged him, then seemed to hold himself back. He slowly moved his face back from hers. It looked as if he was literally fighting his body, trying to get himself away from her. "Because you don't want to die. I believe in second chances." He turned and forced himself to leave the room. "Take the room down the hall."

Casey blinked and watched Theo storm out. She looked down, too tired to argue with him. "He's right... I was rather rude... perhaps I should talk to Kirse and reconcile with him" she muttered to herself. She stood up and went to the front door, where she figured Kirse would be. Surely enough, he was there. She knelt down in front of him "I uh... would... would like to... apologize for what I did earlier. I've... I've just been mad at you... ever snce you scared me this morning. I promise not to hurt or scare you ever again... if you would promise me the same thing. If I am to stay here... I sould probably gt along with one of you" she told him in a gentle voice.

Theo went off to finish cooking, knowing they were hungry and had to feed them. Even if he was angry...it was a way to distract him. Kirse whimpered softly when he heard Casey come near him. He was laying on his stomach with his paws over his face as if to hide. He'd listened to her, then slowly moved his paws and looked at her for a moment. As if considering what she said. Then slowly inched forward and lifted his head to nuzzle her hand, slightly sniffing it.

Casey flinched quit visibly and fiercely when Kirse's nose nuzzled her hand, but then forced herself to relax. Breathe, Casey, breathe, she thought as she lightly petted his nose. "I'll have to admit... I've never even had a dog... so it might take a few tries to get used to it... but... I will try. You seem to be a nice wolf... I don't believe you would hurt me intentionally" she said in barely a whisper.

Kirse whinned softly when she flinched like she did, but was calm again when she petted his nose. Though, it was an odd feeling for him. He'd never let anyone pet him before.

Casey was shaking lightly, she was that nervous. "I don't understand it... how do you get along with that guy? You're too nice to be with him. He's just a pretty boy jerk wh decided he wanted to ruin my life. Don't give me that look, I know you probably don't like me bashing him, but I have a right to do so after what he's done to me" she told him, slowly getting used to the wolf. I didn't even know I was afraid of dogs... she mused.

Kirse had given her a protective look, but seemed to understand that she was allowed to feel that way. Kirse still whinned softly when she was complaining about Theo. He nuzzled her hand, then her arm as he slowly sat up. He wagged his tail slightly, as if he wanted her to do something.
