Belle didn't mind the quiet, since she had a rowdier group than Andy did, and she just walked along quietly. She did keep an eye out for any bishis or anything else, though.

It didn't take too long to get to the Circle territory. Andy kind of knew when they crossed the border because everything felt a little more relaxed than before. It was like Belle had said, the series wasn't as homicidal as Black Jewels.

Belle grinned. "Well, you go have fun," she said. "I think I'll set up right around here somewhere and start working on thinking of things for dinner. There's a town a couple miles that way, so I figured once you get your bishis we can head over that direction, get the TVs, stock up on some things, all that good stuff."

"Alright," Andy replied. "Sounds like a plan to me. Are you sure you don't need help setting up camp first, before I disappear?"

"Nah, I'm good. I've got volunteers! Or rather, I'm volunteering them." Belle grinned. "Go on and have fun. I'll make sure someone tells you where we are. Probably Daemon or Saetan."

"Alright," Andy replied. "I'll be back later, then. Give me a call if you need anything." Checking her bag real quick, she set off into the trees to find a good place to wait for bishies.

Belle chuckled and found a good place to set up for the rest of the day, getting her bishis to help her set things up before she settled in to just hang out for a while.

Andy came back to camp right around sundown.

"Nothing yet," she said as she released her group and got comfortable. "I'm not too surprised. I'll just have to try again tomorrow."

Belle nodded, stretching out briefly before pulling out her iPod. "Well, long as you need," she said, stretching her legs out in front of her and tapping the big pot of stew she had going. "I've got music, food, and good company. I can stay here for as long as need be."

Thomas snorted and shook his head, going back to his mini game of poker. So far it was just him, Daemon, and Saetan. And they weren't stripping this time.

Andy glanced over at the poker game, but didn't comment. There were some things that were just better left ignored. She looked at Belle.

"I see that and I almost want to find someone to teach me how to play cradle," she said. "It would be really interesting to see how it really works."

"Well, good luck with that. I never learned." Belle shrugged and grinned. "I've got books and iPod. Far more entertaining. Besides, this way I can sing Carry On My Wayward Son and annoy people."

"No, we would need a Karla or a Jaenelle or someone to teach us how to play cradle," Andy replied. "Twenty-six variations and all that good stuff." Her own iPod was in her bag, carefully tucked away in a waterproof container. There was no way she was letting it get ruined when she had no way of replacing her library.

"And Daemon's version," Belle added with a grin. "We could probably get him to teach us that one."

"Or not. There's no fun in teaching you," Daemon said with a smirk. "You have to figure it out yourself."

"Which is why I suggested the other way," Andy replied. "It's no fun if we don't know the basic rules first."

"Ah, but just think of the fun if we learn his way first and manage to beat him at it, and then go play a Jaenelle or a Karla. They'd be flabbergasted!" She grinned at the mere thought.

Andy grinned as well.

"That would be hysterical," she said. "Learning and beating Variation 27. In canon, it's never been done."

"Oh I know. Which is precisely why it would be so hilarious if we did it." Belle grinned.

"You are a horrible, conniving person," Daemon said, not even looking at her.

"Oh just wait until I'm hyper. This isn't even bad yet."

Andy just rolled her eyes. She was used to Belle by now. Daemon would learn.

Daemon just shrugged. "Then I'll shove you off on him. He's used to children." He nodded to Saetan.

Saetan merely snorted, while Belle stuck her tongue out at Daemon.

"After dealing with you and Lucivar?" Andy said. "I'm not surprised."

"Not to mention Jaenelle, Karla, and several others," Saetan added dryly. "There was a group of sixteen of them at one point."

Andy winced in sympathy.

"I'm female and I wouldn't want to deal with the coven," she said.

"Exactly," Saetan grumbled. "And yet somehow they always got dumped at my house."

"That's because you're more patient than most," Daemon said with a wicked little smile. "Besides, you learned and you had the least amount of breakables in your house."

"Poor High Lord," Andy said. "It could have been worse, though... It could have been a bunch of Scelties."

Saetan and Daemon both shivered. Daemon looked at Belle.

"Don't even think about getting a Sceltie," he growled. "Ever."

Belle snickered but nodded. Ladvarian had been awesome, but she didn't think she'd want one. That would just be too much potential mayhem.
