"No, I think I still will be. The subject matter might change, but I'm sure I'll still be making bad jokes."

Andy just rolled her eyes. She should have expected that one.

Belle started playig catch with Saetan, using an apple she'd gotten earlier that day. Saetan looked bemused but played along, 'accidentally' hitting Lucivar and Daemon once or twice.

Lucivar caught the apple the second time it came at him, and threw it back.

Belle snickered when Saetan caught it and managed to bean Daemon in the back of the head. Daemon turned and scowled at him, his eyes narrowing, before he chucked it back.

Andy got up and took refuge with Kaelas, knowing the cat would shield if the apple came at him. She didn't want to be nailed with the fruit.

Saetan gently tossed the apple back to Belle, and Belle tossed it to Lucivar with a grin. Hey, she was bored and they were willing to amuse her.

Andy just rolled her eyes as Lucivar threw the apple back. It seemed like a pointless game, to her, but it was amusing enough to watch.

Saetan caught the apple and paused for a moment as he got an idea. A moment later, with a little bit of Craft, he made the apple start glowing. Belle's eyes got really wide, and he chuckled. He'd used that to amuse his own children before.

Daemon couldn't help but snort as he noticed. Yeah, he remembered that.

Andy was impressed, as well. She'd never seen that done before.

"Awesome..."

Lucivar snorted. He remembered that trick, too.

Belle caught the apple when Saetan tossed it back, turning it over and examining it, trying to figure out how he did that. Saetan just smiled, pleased with himself.

Andy went over and sat down next to Belle. She wanted to see how it had worked, too, and she was already trying to puzzle it out in her head. Maybe witchlight around a shield around the apple...?

Belle held the apple out a little, turning it over and frowning a little as she tried to puzzle it out.

Eclipse smirked a little as a thought occured to him but he didn't say anything.

It was an absolutely fascinating puzzle, and Andy would have given a lot at that moment to be able to experiment and recreate it herself.

Belle twisted it around, still trying to figure it out. She looked at it, debating if she should try to eat it or not to see if the inside glowed.

The witchlight theory was the only one that really made sense to Andy, but she waited to see what Belle would say before asking.

"Okay, I give. How does it work?" Belle looked at Saetan expectantly.

"It's actually a spell Jaenelle came up with. Well, one of them. It's a variation of a witchlight, and you can either wrap it around the object or, in the case of a window or jewel or something, put it in the middle." Saetan shrugged. "It used to keep those two amused."

"I figured it was some form of witchlight," Andy said. "I just had no idea how it worked." She grinned. "That was awesome."

"Is it still edible?" Belle looked at the apple.

"Of course it is."

"Cool." Belle tossed the apple to Daemon, and he caught it at the last moment.

Andy just grinned. She was having one of her 'life is good' moments."

Daemon smirked and chucked it at Lucivar, leaving a glimmery streak. Belle couldn't help but laugh, shaking her head.

Lucivar caught it and threw it back, though his attempt at the glowing spell was a bit rougher and a little less refined than either of the others. This didn't surprise Andy in the least, though.

Daemon chuckled and handed it over to Saetan. Saetan fiddled for a moment, changing the color to topaz before handing it back to Belle. She grinned.

Andy blinked. She hadn't known that witchlight could change colors like that. Now she was even more fascinated.

Belle grinned as the witchlight shifted through all the colors topaz naturally took; yellow, yellow-orange, light blue, dark blue, and finally black flecked with red, green, and yellow. "That's awesome."

"I used to run through all the Jewel colors for the kids. They loved it." Saetan smiled a little.
