Belle stretched out her legs and kept petting Dejaal, even as everyone else started to settle in for the night. She even let Thomas perch behind her and play with her hair, starting to put about a dozen little braids in it.

Andy eventually put the book down when she found herself starting to giggle a bit too much, and she sighed. She was definitely getting her fix of the fandom tonight, that was for sure.

Belle snickered when she heard Andy. Obviously the other stories were good. And she knew she had definitely laughed at Kaeleer's Heart and Warlord Prince of Ebon Rih. It was too hard not to.

Andy glanced over at Belle when she heard the snickering.

"Just wait till you see the bug in the box and the glass-dome mousie," she said.

"Oh, I know. I couldn't stop laughing when Lucivar and Marian were yelling at each other in the tavern." Belle snickered again.

"I was a bit more amused at the end when he proposed," Andy replied.

"Yeah, that bit. When they're both so mad that they've agreed to get married before they really know what happened." Belle grinned.

"Hey, it all turned out alright," Andy pointed out. She grinned. "I haven't gotten a fix from the fandom this good in years."

"Well now you also have someone to share it with," Belle pointed out. "Which I will hopefully have once you read Acheron."

"And in the meantime you'll be plotting," Eclipse pointed out.

Dark humor flashed in her eyes. "Indeed," she said, glancing at her copy of The Invisible Ring on the bedside table.

"Well, go start reading The Invisible Ring," Andy said. "You'll like Jared, I know you will."

"I don't doubt that. I also don't doubt that I will plotting many, many ways to make certain people suffer," Belle said, her voice far too cheerful.

Saetan paused for a moment before he got up, glancing at Daemon. Daemon rifled through her bag and pulled out a clear container, handing it over to Saetan, since he had more practice of the two. Saetan put two little circling witchlights in the container, both of them circling and changing different colors before he handed it to Belle. That should distract her from her clearly murderous thoughts sufficiently.

"You know, you could put together the most awesome light show with that," Andy pointed out as they handed Belle the jar. "So many possibilities..."

"Well, feel free to make requests," Saetan said, idly pulling Belle's hair back out of her face. "I don't mind."

"I'm good for now," Andy said cheerfully. She grinned. "And just think, I know the series well enough that I hardly ever have to ask embarrassing questions."

"I prefer embarrassing questions to an upset trainer." Saetan smiled, just a little, and went to go sit again.

Belle had managed to snag her hand in the back of Daemon's shirt, so he sat down in front of her for the time being.

Andy just waved a hand.

"My hysterics earlier was a special case," she said. "Probably not going to happen again any time soon."

Saetan nodded before he gave Belle a significant look. He could already tell when she was unhappy too, although apparently she tended towards snarly-snappy-murderous unhappy.

"...Point," Andy conceded.

Belle chose that moment to growl quietly at something in the book. Daemon reached back, almost idly, and flicked his fingers against the jar, and a third little black and gray swirling witchlight joined the others.

Andy just settled in for the evening, making herself comfortable.

Belle huffed but put the book down for the night, just staying where she was and relaxing. It had been a good day.

Andy stretched and adjusted her bag on her shoulders. She was kind of glad to be on the road again. She liked town well enough, but she started to get antsy after more than a couple of days.

Belle walked next to her, with Dejaal went ahead to check on everything around them.

"So where to now? Just kinda wander?"

"Works for me," Andy replied. "I didn't have anywhere in particular I wanted to go."

"We could always head back towards Ephemera," Belle suggested. "Or Pern."
