Andy ended up sprawling out with a book herself. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched as the little Temeraire wandered about the campsite, exploring.

The next few days were spent like that, with the little one wandering around, and Belle's little fire lizards still growing a little every day and eating a lot.
After three days, Belle glanced over at Andy. She was starting to feel a little restless, and infinitely curious. They'd seen a ton of gryphons over the past month, and she wanted to go explore, desperately. She felt like she'd only gotten the first chapter of a Jim Butcher book, or something.
"How much longer do you think we'll need to stay here?"

Andy was getting restless, too, so she understood.
"I'll go and talk to Temmy and Li Li," she said, getting up. "See if we can't get moving again." She went over to her dragons to start 'negotiating.'

Belle shook her head and waited somewhat patiently, looking over at the gryphon territory. A few of them were flying around, as if taunting her, and she scowled.
"Feet itching again?" Thomas asked, quietly amused.
"Oh hush."
"This is probably the longest we've stayed in one place in a long time. It'll be hilarious to watch you try to get a house."
Belle shot him a look. Hey, at least being out in the middle of nowhere meant she'd gotten lots of money from the 'pop-up monsters' as her guys referred to them.

It took surprisingly little coaxing to get her dragons to let her capture the young Temeraire. She'd been a little surprised when Temmy had just looked at her and said it was better her than someone else because she would let them all stay together.
"Besides," he added practically, "we have been here long enough, it would be good to be out to see other places."
"Meaning you're sick of staying here too," Andy translated. "You could have said something, Temmy." The dragon just shrugged a little, but the little dragonet next to Lien looked a bit apprehensive.
"You will let me right back out?" he asked. Andy nodded.
"Of course I will," she replied. "And you can walk out with us for as long as you like." After a moment, the dragonet nodded, and Andy took out an empty bishiball to catch him with. Once he was caught, she let him out again. "There, that's all."
She took a few more minutes to make sure the dragons were all alright with traveling again, and then went back to find Belle.

Belle was still bickering with Thomas, over nothing in particular, when Andy came back around. She looked over and raised an eyebrow.
"So, we good to go? 'Cause I need to stop and get supplies soon-ish, and I swear those gryphons are just taunting us now."
And they'd been getting braver, too, getting up to half-way across the lake before darting off again. Belle wat just itching to go get one.

"So take Temmy and go chase one," Andy said, shrugging. "Hell, I bet Li wouldn't mind, either. But yeah, we're good to go as soon as we can get the camp broken down again."

"I'll get to that later," Belle said with a shrug. "Once we're over there it'll be very interesting. I don't know exactly how ballsy gryphons are, so I guess we'll find out."
She started working on getting everything packed up and put away so they could get going. She was infinitely curious about the areas around them, which were supposed to contain all sorts of mythical creatures.

Andy set about packing her own things up. She was glad to be moving again, it had been the longest time she'd stayed in one place since she'd been on-world. It was a bit unnerving to stay in one place so long when she wasn't used to it.

By the time everything was packed up and ready to go, it was only mid-day. So Belle started walking, figuring the dragons would stay close if they wanted or they had three miles to fly away before they'd have to turn back. Her two fire lizards cheeped and moved to where they could see better without actually flying. They were still rather lazy and growing took too much energy to fly, too.

Andy started to walk with Belle, the little Temeraire next to her. The adult dragons had gone into their bishiballs for the time being, but the little one still wanted to walk. Andy didn't have a problem with that. He had his own bishiball if he got tired.

Belle took her time, not wanting to wear anyone out. They wouldn't be able to get terribly far, anyway, before they'd have to stop and make dinner and set up for the night. She guessed they could get a couple miles at least but not much farther than that.
Oh well. At least they were moving and the view was changing.

Andy noticed the slower-than-usual pace.
"You know, we could always take the dragons," she said. "Go for a complete change of scenery, maybe go back towards the coast?"

"If you want," Belle said with a shrug. "Really, it's up to you. I'm fine with walking wherever we want to go. If you want to go somewhere else, though, dragons would probably be the best way to go."

"It's fine with me," Andy replied. "I was just offering. I figure we can make much better time that way, and everyone seemed to like it well enough when we were on the beach."

"It would be easy to feed everyone, too," Belle agreed. "I think I want to walk for a day or two, though. Stretch my legs out again. And then we can head back to the beach."

"Yeah, it was a little weird," Belle agreed. "Longest I've stayed in one place for a while."
She watched the gryphons flying around for a bit before she commented, "Luckily there's lots of beach area for us to walk around by."

"Before this, I only ever spent a few days in one place," Andy agreed. "Maybe a week, at the most." She kept an eye on the dragonet as he wandered about, exploring. She knew very well how curious Temeraires tended to be.

Belle helped keep an eye on the little Temaraire, her own little fire lizards occasionally flitting around and doing some exploring of their own. The brown one even went and investigated the dragonet.

Temeraire looked at the fire lizard curiously, sniffing at it a bit. He wasn't sure what it was, but if it belonged to the other trainer, then it couldn't be all that bad.

The brown one sniffed at him as well, jewel-faceted eyes swirling a mix of colors before landing on his back, starting to investigate him more thoroughly. The queen sniffed and stayed curled around Belle's neck.

Temeraire fanned his wings for a moment before proceeding to ignore the fire lizard on his back. He was big enough that the fire lizard on his back didn't bother him, although he hadn't tried flying yet. He continued to bounce around as the trainers walked, eager to keep exploring.

The brown chirped at him, climbing up to Temaraire's neck and settling there to get a better look around as the dragonet did all the work.
Belle couldn't help but snicker at the sight the two of them made, shaking her head. "Well, Precious, looks like your bro's abandoned us for a dragon," she said with a big grin.

Andy snickered as well.
"That's so cute," she cooed. "Look, he made a friend." She grinned. "You know, I still need to come up with a nickname for him... Elsewise I'll constantly get him and Temmy confused once they're the same size."
