Teaser looked at her for a moment before he shrugged, content to be confused, and went back to Sebastian so they could go back inside where it was safe. Er.

Andy would have pointed out the marks on Temeraire's scales, from wearing a harness for so long, but Teaser had already started to head back inside, so it didn't really matter.

"See," she said, "nothing wrong with dragons."

"Except that they're too big," Teaser grumped. "Why can't you people just stick with horses?"

At that moment, the gold fire lizard popped in above his head and started chittering at him, clearly chastising him. He blinked, his eyes kind of huge.

"What the hell?"

Andy couldn't help it, she snickered just the slightest bit when Teaser jumped.

"Okay, those aren't mine," she said. "Those are Belle's. Although the other one seems to have made friends with Xiang."

"I noticed. At least these ones are small."

The female growled at him, making him blink, his eyes wide, before she dove for a pouch at his belt and then vanished. With the pouch.

Teaser stood for a moment, looking completely bewildered. "I repeat: What the hell?"

Andy blinked.

"I don't know," she said. She didn't speak Pern well enough to translate that one. "Ask Belle."

Teaser made a face and jogged back inside, already yelling for his trainer. Sebastian sniggered, leaning casually against Xiang's side. He didn't mind the dragons so much now.

Andy followed Teaser inside, wanting to be able to witness the potential spectacle. That, and she wanted to know what just happened, too.

"What the hell was that?" Teaser demanded, striding into the room.

"Hmm? Oh, I needed these." Belle held up the little bag the gold had taken, its contents currently on the table. "I'm taking stock of things."

"Why?"

"So next time someone claims that person x stole their whatever, I can check." Belle rolled her eyes. "Besides which, you have sparklies in here."

Andy just snickered a little.

"Because the sparklies are most important," she teased.

"Well of course!" Belle beamed. Teaser gave up and went to go flop somewhere dramatically, which didn't get him any extra attention. So then he just pouted.

Andy just snickered and went to check on her group. Kaelas wasn't quite whining about wanting to be brushed, but it was a near thing, so she took out his brush. Then she glanced over at Teaser and Sebastian. To try, or not to try...?

"Either of you want to brush Kaelas? He's just a big kitty, really."

"After the dragons he's a freaking toy." Teaser glowered at her briefly, although he didn't mean it. And then Sebastian shoved him towards the giant cat. Giving his fellow incubus a very wounded look (while the other two incubi snickered) he made his way over to Kaelas.

Andy handed him the brush, but didn't move away from Kaelas. Instead, she started to rub the cat's ears for a little bit, drawing a low purr from him. The cat stretched out, content to be spoiled for a while.

Teaser took the brush and sat down to start brushing the giant cat. He was used to brushing women's hair, from time to time anyway, so he didn't mind.

Plus, like he said, the cat was practically a toy after the dragons.

Kaelas stretched out, rolling onto his back and purring.

"Disgraceful creature," Andy said affectionately. Kaelas just batted at her a little, pushing her over, and then relaxed to doze off.

Belle snorted and shook her head from where she was brushing out Dejaal. She liked spoiling her kitty.

Teaser snorted and continued brushing the cat, relaxing while he did. Kaelas wasn't so bad.

Once Andy was sure that Kaelas was going to allow himself to be brushed for a while, Andy went back and settled down on the bed she'd claimed. Time to relax again. She was a little surprised when Sesshoumaru sat down behind her, but she quickly relaxed when he started to massage her shoulders.

Teaser did a very good job, gently nudging Kaelas to the side or wherever he needed so that he could brush the whole cat. Not really that unlike keeping a woman happy, he decided.

Kaelas obediently twisted around whenever he was nudged to the side, still giving that low, rumbling purr as he was brushed. Clearly, he was a very happy kitty at the moment, and he had no intention of getting up and stopping the brushing. It had been a while since he'd been brushed out this well, anyways, so he was going to take full advantage.

It helped that Teaser relaxed as he brushed out Kaelas, too. He didn't mind brushing the cat out for a while at all. And even after he was done actually brushing, he kept petting the cat. Because he could.

Kaelas stayed sprawled out on the floor, purring. It had been a long time since he'd gotten attention like this. He made a mental note that Teaser was someone who would brush him out and give him attention. It was always a good idea to know who would and who wouldn't, and his trainer was busy getting her own attention, anyways, so Teaser would do just fine.

Teaser briefly wondered if he could actually feed from a cat, and then disgarded the idea. Eh. He'd go find Belle later.

Andy, on the other hand, was leaning against Sesshoumaru, very relaxed. The shoulder massage was wonderful, and she was more than happy to let him continue.

Belle was busy reading, jotting down notes every once in a while. Eclipse lounged behind her, keeping an eye on Thomas, who was clearly thinking about going to pounce on her.
