Belle grinned broadly. "Exactly! We can even stop by a few other places if we wanted. I know Al's been trying to wheedle me into getting more spell books for him. He's also trying to get me to catch a Rachel, but there is just no way that is happening."

Andy snickered a bit.

"I'm kind of glad none of mine ask me to catch others," she said. "There are just too many Bad Things that could happen if they did and I did." She grinned. "Such as catching a Jaenelle. There are just so many things..." She shook her head. "Explosions for days, I just know it."

Belle actually shivered at that. "Yeah, no. Jaenelle is awesome and all, but no. There are just way too many things that would go wrong. Not could, would. Murphy's Law, and all."

"It's not even Murphy's Law at that point," Andy replied. "It's just a law of the universe. Either something will go horrifically wrong and explode, or something will go horrifically right and break your brain. There's no real middle ground there."

"Pretty much." Belle shook her head. "Middle ground doesn't exist." She snickered and leaned back against her bed. "Oh well. Makes life more interesting. Sometimes."

Andy nodded with a grin, and then paused as a couple of thoughts occurred to her and collided.

"What would happen if bookverse Dresden series and bookverse Leandros series smashed together?" she asked, looking at Belle. "That would be epic."

"That would be totally epic and totally catastrophic." Belle had to grin at the thought, though. "And Thomas would definitely be in danger."

"What? Why me?" Thomas frowned. "I'm too pretty to die!"

Andy snorted and bit her lip, trying desperately not to burst into giggles.

"Oh god you're so right," she said to Belle, still trying to fight back the snickers. "Now if only the authors would write a crossover, that would just be perfect."

"Yes!" Belle grinned broadly. "That would be so perfect." She sighed happily at the idea.

"How about not? I kind of like living." Thomas glared weakly at her.

"Oh don't be a pansy. They'd stop trying to kill you. Eventually."

"Eventually," Andy agreed. She couldn't help snickering just a bit, though. It really was one of the best mental images. She choked on a giggle as a thought occurred to her. "Oh god, Belle, what if someone threw a Robin into the mix?"

Belle grinned broadly. "Well we've already established that Robin would get along fantasmically with my three idiots."

"Fantasmically? And we are not idiots!"

"Yes, fantasmically. And yes you are. You have your moments."

"I'm sure there's another word I can substitute in there for you that would fit better," Andy said dryly, although she was fighting back more giggles. "Especially once you get that particular group in the same room together."

Belle laughed too, shaking her head. "Yeah, we know you're horrible now. Better be careful or you'll encourage them more."

"We don't mind encouragement," Thomas piped up.

"But I do. I have to live with you."

Andy just grinned and flopped back down on her bed, next to Sesshoumaru.

"It'll be a real trip once we get to those territories," she commented. "I'm kind of looking forward to it now, it's going to be fun."

"Yes it is. And I am definitely looking forward to it." Belle grinned broadly. "Can you imagine having a Cal and a Niko, though?"

She thought it would be hilarious. And probably potentially deadly for at least one of the other bishis. But still hilarious.

"That... could be very interesting," Andy said after a moment. "Could you imagine what would happen if like they found things in common with Daemon and Lucivar or something?" She grinned. "The words 'unholy alliance' come to mind."

"No kidding. That's kind of scary, actually." Belle shook her head. The thought of the two sets of brothers forming an alliance was just short of terrifying, actually.

"At least we'd never run out of weapons. Or ammo."

"It's frightening to think about," Andy agreed. It was something to keep in mind if either of them decided that a set of Leandros brothers would be a good idea.

Belle nodded, settling down on her bed for a while. Might as well, since nothing was going on at the moment. Although she figured they'd go check on the harnesses soon, especially since she wanted to make sure the little one would fit in theirs.

Almost right on cue, Andy's gear chirped at her, alerting her to the fact that the harnesses should be ready.

"And that would be why I set an alarm," she commented as she got up and put her shoes on again. "Hopefully now Temmy will have a proper, not-ragged harness."

Belle snorted. "Yeah really. Maybe the two for the little ones will even be done." She shook her head. "Although those probably weren't hard."

She stretched briefly before getting up. "Alright. Want to head over now?"

"Yeah," Andy said. "No sense in waiting." She glanced at her group, but most of them seemed content to stay where they were. Only Sesshoumaru and Lawrence got up to follow her, and Andy knew Lawrence only did because it was his dragon that was getting a new harness.

Belle nodded. "Try not to destroy anything while we're gone," she said to the group at large before heading out of the room. Eclipse followed her, but he was the only one.

Andy followed with Sesshoumaru and Lawrence. She knew that the aviator would be able to tell if the new harness was done right before they had Temmy try it on. She couldn't help but glance up at Sesshoumaru as he put an arm around her waist and pulled her a little closer as they walked.

Belle got there first, and she looked at the two little harnesses presented to her. They were adjustable, which was good, and they didn't look very bulky or anything. The little brown fire lizard popped in, cheeping at her before settling to examine the harness, clearly curious. She even managed to wrangle it onto him without any problem.
