Thankfully, Dresden land wasn't too far off, maybe a day or so, so they hadn't felt the need to do more than walk. Andy had to make sure not to say too much about the books, though, since she knew Belle hadn't finished the latest one yet.

"This should be interesting," she said instead.

Belle just rolled her eyes and kept looking around. She wanted to see what bishis they could find there, although she already had Thomas.

Andy was just pleased to be somewhere new. She liked her familiar territories, she really did, but new places were fun, too.

"So, should we put bets on who we'll run into first?" she asked Belle, grinning a bit.

"Sure. Who do you think we'll run into first?" Belle grinned. She was honestly curious to see what Andy thought.

"Well..." Andy thought for a minute. "All things considered... I'm putting my money on a Molly. Too damn curious, nigh on invisible, and capable of running away." Sound logic, at least to her.

"Okay. That sounds pretty reasonable." Belle was quiet for a few moments. "Or another Thomas. That's how I got this one. He was curious so he came to come get a look and didn't account for the dip behind a log. He fell over and before he could get up I fell on top of him."

"One of the best days of my life," Thomas pronounced with a huge grin.

Andy snorted.

"I'm really not surprised," she replied. "I'd still bet on a Molly first. And if I let Kaelas out, we'd have a way to tell if a Molly was around." She grinned. "A veil can't be all that different from a sight shield, really, sight shields only mess with vision, nothing else."

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure Kaelas or Dejaal would be able to tell." Belle grinned. "It would certainly be interesting to see, anyway. Although I'd probably refrain from siccing the giant cats on the young witch."

"You haven't seen the latest incarnation of Molly," Andy pointed out. "And I won't be siccing them... not really. No worse than--" she paused. And blinked. "Oh god, never mind. I won't leave Kaelas out around here. There are fairies in this territory."

Belle just started giggling. "Oh god we need to do that again," she said with a huge grin. She still loved the memory of watching the two big cats running after fairies. That had been far too priceless.

"There are more than six in the territory," Andy said, fighting back a wide grin. "And we have two giant cats." She snickered. "I don't know if this is an epic idea or a Very Bad one, but it'll be amazing either way."

"Oh yes." Belle grinned hugely. "We will definitely have to test that." She really wanted to exploring in Dresden land now.

Andy grinned as well, nodding in agreement.

"Well, let's look around and see what we can find," she said.

Belle nodded and kept walking, looking around as she did.

She spotted a fairy first and grinned, nudging Andy and pointing it out.

Andy looked over and grinned.

"Spies," she murmured to Belle. "I'd bet anything. Spies, scouts, something."

"Oh I'm sure. But still great." Belle grinned and kept walking. Hey, as long as they didn't end up somewhere they weren't supposed to, she figured the fairies could spy all they wanted.

Andy grinned and sighed.

"We're going to have so much fun here," she said. "The spies glow, the Blood males could be given a run for their money, and somewhere out there is a talking skull with our names on it."

"Yes it is," Andy agreed. She grinned back. "I almost want to say let's just set up base camp now and see what happens."

"We could, certainly." Belle grinned briefly. She wouldn't mind.

Besides, it would give them a chance to let the cats out and see how many fairies they caught.

"We should," Andy replied. "Set up camp and wait to see who stumbles across us." Because that's how it tended to work, typically.

Belle nodded and got out her supplies, setting up a few PD rooms so they could be comfortable and maybe watch a movie sometime later. She got Eclipse to get the fire going, though.

Andy set up her own part of camp, making sure the rooms were all set up for her group and letting her dragons out with explicit instructions not to wander off without supervision. This wasn't a territory she was comfortable letting a dragon wander around in, not like the Realms of the Blood or the Landscapes of Ephemera.

Yeah, Belle could just imagine what would happen if a Harry stumbled across one of the dragons. It would not be fun.

Shaking her head, she settled down for a little bit, figuring she didn't need to start dinner quite yet.

Andy climbed up onto Lien's back to try to get a better look at the area around them. It wasn't as heavily wooded as the Ephemera territory, but it wasn't as sprawling as the Temeraire territory, either. She couldn't help but grin when she spotted a few more fairies in the trees. Then she saw Kaelas looking like he was about to jump on something.

"Kaelas," she called sharply. The cat jumped, and looked slightly guilty, but went back to settle by the fire.
