Harry looked more than a little stunned, so Andy took pity on him.

"Kaelas is just a big kitty," she said. "And the dragons won't bother you unless Temeraire is feeling chatty. He's the big black one. Lien isn't talkative, she's the white one, and Xiang is relatively quiet as well. My group is smaller than Belle's, and you'll most likely be drafted into strip poker."

There was a pause, and then, "What?!"

Thomas laughed. Loudly. "Strip poker. You know, playing poker and stripping when you lose?" He grinned broadly. "It's fun, really. And I promise you won't get groped." He paused for a moment. "Much."

Harry groaned and mumbled something that sounded suspiciously like "kill me now." Andy just snickered.

"Go on and get settled," she said. "We're probably going to be hanging out here for a couple of days or so."

Belle rolled her eyes and gathered a bunch of wood so she could get a fire going for dinner. She whistled to herself as she worked, quite content to stay there for a while.

Andy settled in for the evening, digging through her books for something to read. She'd long since dedicated a storage capsule to them, and was pulling them out and stacking them as she looked for something to amuse herself with. She paused when she heard an unfamiliar voice, and listened.

"Can I come out now? Come on, Harry. Not like anything else can happen."

She heard Harry sigh.

"Fine. Back in the skull in an hour."

"You're no fun."

The conversation stopped after that, and Andy didn't think much more of it aside from pondering the other voice, until it spoke again from behind her.

"You wouldn't happen to have anything good in there would you?"

Andy jumped and turned around--only to flail a bit. There was a vaguely-person-shaped cloud behind her, bright and gold and nigh on metallic. Andy blinked.

"Bob?" she ventured. It seemed right, but something was still off.

"Got it in one," the voice said. As it spoke, the cloud rippled a bit. "C'mon, you have to have some good romances in there."

Andy didn't reply immediately, instead trying to figure out what was off about what she was seeing. Then it clicked.

"Wait, you're supposed to be orange," she said. The cloud seemed to falter.

"Typically," Bob offered carefully.

"And you're not," Andy pressed.

"Right," Bob replied. Andy blinked. Then, slowly, she pulled a cheap romance out of the pile.

"You can have this one," she said. Then she scrambled to her feet and hurried over to Belle. "Belle! Belle, look, shiny! I didn't know that happened here!"

Belle looked up and paused when she saw the shiny gold Bob. "Holy shit! He is shiny!"

The implications of that slowly set in and she turned wide eyes on Andy. "Oh god... what if you can find shinies of any bishi...?"

"I've been on-world for four years, Belle, and I've never even heard of shinies here," Andy replied, her eyes still wide. "Never. It was restricted to pokemon, because those DO come in shiny. But not bishies." She glanced at her group, involuntarily trying to picture what shinies would look like.

Belle nodded. "I know. That is weird. Maybe it's a glitch or something...?" She shrugged.

Hey, if they kept the shinies, she was going shiny hunting, dammit.

"Best glitch ever," Andy replied, grinning. "Makes me wonder if the shiny encounter rate is the same. One in 8210 or something like that."

"I have no idea but I am very willing to test." Belle grinned, looking over at Andy. "And I'm sure you are, too."

Andy grinned back.

"Oh yes," she replied. "Shiny hunting it is." She paused. "I really hope it's not like shiny hunting in Abra-zones. I was always paranoid about that, because the difference is so subtle."

"I know." Belle made a face. "Well, I expect some of them are pretty obvious. Some of them will be harder to tell, I'm sure." Belle shrugged. "We'll just have to keep our eyes open is all."

"Right," Andy replied. She grinned. "I've got a shiny. That's awesome. My mind has officially been blown."

Belle laughed and shook her head. "Well, today is definitely a good day." She grinned and relaxed there, starting to cook dinner.

"Yes," Andy said, grinning, "yes it is." Still grinning, she went to settle in and watch her group.

Belle finished dinner and got food for her and Andy before moving out of the way for the hoarde to descend. She sat next to Andy with a grin.

"I haven't had this much fun over a new catch for a long time," Andy commented as Belle sat down. "Not since Lucivar, at least. I hadn't expected this trip to be quite so epic."

Belle grinned. "So do we want to stick around here for another few days? Or shall we head on to the next place now?" She couldn't think of anyone else she really wanted from Dresden land, at least not at the moment.

"Up to you," Andy replied. She grinned. "Didn't you say you wanted a Mouse?"

"That is true. Maybe I'll get lucky and come across a shiny Mouse." Belle grinned hugely at that thought. That would be really freaking epic.

Andy snickered.

"Brown instead of gray," she suggested. "That would be amazing."

"Yup. That would be awesome." Belle grinned and relaxed back against Eclipse. "I guess we'll see if I get one or not."

"Good luck, then," Andy replied. "Hopefully I didn't use up all the luck on you when we stumbled across Harry." She didn't even blink when Sesshoumaru settled next to her and pulled her close.

"Well, if you did, I'll see if I can't manufacture some, or something." She looked at Thomas with a grin. He groaned and shook his head, but he didn't actually look upset. In fact, he looked amused.

Idly, Andy tried to picture what a shiny Thomas would look like. When she finally hit upon a plausible mental image, she blinked and then burst into a fit of giggles.
