Belle went into her tent, Eclipse following her, and most of her bishis went to bed as well as the fire died down a little.

After a little while, Andy decided to go to bed as well. It would have surprised her how quickly she fell asleep snuggled up to Sess, if she'd been awake enough to care.

Belle woke in the middle of the night and went to go sit outside for a while before she went back to bed to have uneasy dreams. The next morning Eclipse was arguing quietly with Acheron and D'Alerian before she got up.

Andy woke up the next morning to a relatively quiet camp. This puzzled her sleep-fuzzed brain a little. Normally, she could already hear some playful banter and other such things, but she couldn't. Getting up, she got properly dressed and left her tent to see what was, or wasn't, going on.

Belle looked over at Andy with a little smile, though it looked strained. "Morning," she said softly. "Eclipse is in a bad mood." Which explained the quietness of the camp.

"What's going on?" Andy asked, keeping her voice low. "My boys didn't do anything, did they?"

"No," Belle said softly. "I haven't been sleeping well. Nightmares. Eclipse thinks that D'Alerian should be doing something about it, since he's a dream god."

"Nightmares?" Andy asked. "I'm guessing that's not normal. I'm also guessing there's a reason why he's not doing something about it, right?"

"He says it's dangerous for an Oneroi to go repeatedly into one person's dreams. Dangerous for the Oneroi and the human."

"Which makes sense," Andy said. "Should I take my dragons flying and hope the tension around here eases by the time we get back?" There wasn't really much she could help out with, after all.

"You could, sure. Take Seth with you." Belle plopped down to wait, putting her chin on her hands.

"Alright," Andy said. "Give me a call when things lighten up? I'll try to keep track of the landscape around here in case there's anything interesting around here."

"Alright. Have fun." Belle waved glumly to them.

"I feel kinda bad for her," Seth said as he walked with Andy to an open spot so she could release the dragons.

"I do too," Andy said as she released both of her dragons. "I don't know how to help, though. I'm not prone to nightmares, so I'm not exactly sure how to make them stop." She went over to Lien and let the dragon pick her up. She settled herself between the white dragon's shoulders, right behind Lien's jeweled collar. "You can fly on Temmy or Li Li," she said. "Doesn't matter which. Temmy tends to like barrel rolls sometimes, though, but he's also got the harness."

"I think I'll stick with Temmy," Seth said, moving over to said dragon and settling himself in once he was up. "Hey, maybe we'll get lucky and see something interesting."

"Maybe," Andy said.

"May we go now?" Temeraire asked, impatiently rustling his wings. Lien muttered something in her native language, and Temeraire replied in the same language, indignant. Andy couldn't help but snicker a bit.

"Yeah, have at it," she said. She had a pretty good idea of what they'd said, even if she didn't speak Chinese.

Seth grinned as he settled in for the flight, hanging on to the harness loosely.

Andy held on to Lien's collar as the dragon took off, Temeraire beside his white counterpart. She could tell that both dragons were glad to feel the wind on their wings again, and she didn't blame them. The two were happiest when they had space to roam a bit, and they weren't able to have that lately. She grinned when the dragons began to have an easy conversation in Chinese. She had no idea what they were chatting about, but they obviously wanted to keep it between each other. She mentally shrugged. If it was important, they would tell her.

Seth stayed quiet for the ride, just hanging on and looking at the scenery. At one point he waved to Andy and pointed below them, to where a few bishis were diving for cover.

Andy nodded to show she saw them as well and tapped Lien's hide with her boot, signalling the dragon to land. Lien did so, with Temeraire not far behind.

Seth slid off and quickly headed after the bishis, Olivia following him. He kept an eye on them, trying to track them.

Andy recalled both of the dragons and followed Seth. She was a little quieter than he was, being more experienced in following bishies, but not much quieter. She hadn't gotten a good look at who they were following, so she figured Seth may have recognized a face or something.

Seth managed to tackle one of the bishsi to the ground and tapped the bishi with a ball. The ball rattled furiously for a few moments before it stopped and he got up, brushing himself off. "Looks like we're in Pirates territory still. That and a few other movies." He released the Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman version) he'd caught.

"We must be in the movie territories, then," Andy said. "That was kind of impressive, by the way."

"Thanks. Football training." Seth grinned and introduced himself and Olivia to Van Helsing. "Right, anyone you want to run after?"
