"Not that the moment," Andy said. "One of my cousins was in college football, back on the outside. You and he would have gotten along wonderfully." She couldn't help but grin. "Oh, I can only imagine how well this one is going to go over back at camp," she pointed out. "And I'm just going to sit back and watch the fireworks."

"I was in high school football for three years. Then I killed my knee and had to stop." Seth shrugged. "I'm pretty sure they won't kill each other. And if they start trying we can separate them again."

"I was never into sports," Andy said. "Not my thing." She glanced around when she saw movement out of the corner of her eye, but she didn't see anyone obviously watching them. She knew they were there, though. Being on-world for almost four years had taught her a few things, at least. "This must be the area where a bunch of different territories meet. Pirates and Van Hellsing aren't really that close otherwise, I don't think."

"Yeah, I think so. I think Belle mentioned that there are a bunch of territories along here near the coast." Seth shrugged as he glanced around.

"I remember her saying something about that," Andy agreed. "If we're going to look around some more for bishies, then I'm going to leave Temmy and Li Li in their balls. They're rather noticable."

"This is true," Seth agreed as he started walking. "Let's just see what pops up, hmm?"

"Sounds good to me," Andy said. Making sure all her bishies were in their balls, she started to look around a bit. It was easier to sneak up on someone without a Sesshoumaru lurking over your shoulder, after all. She learned that the first time.

Seth recalled his two as well, following Andy's example, and started looking around, walking quietly through the trees.

"You know, hiking through the woods looking for formerly-fictional characters was never something I envisioned myself doing, back on the outside," Andy commented as they walked. She didn't refer to it as 'back home.' "Of course, I was always the one who lived in the school library. Or my hometown library. Whichever I happened to be closest to." She glanced over as movement caught her eye, but she didn't immediately go after whoever it was. She didn't want to catch it and have it turn out to be a Sweeny Todd or something.

"Yeah. I was never super popular, but." Seth shrugged. "If you'd told me a month ago that I'd be living in an alternate world catching characters from books and video games, I would have laughed and said you were on LSD."

"Yeah, you'll get to the point where this is all normal," Andy said. "You'll think about the outside and realize you don't think of it as home anymore."

"I can tell neither of you do." Seth shook his head a little and climbed over a fallen tree.

"I still think about it sometimes," Andy said. "My little brother would be sixteen by now. I miss my parents every so often. I would say I miss my cat, but I have Kaelas now, and he's more awesome than any housecat." She gave a wry grin. "On the outside, I was just some geeky nerd in the library with too much time on my hands. Here, I can actually put all of those potpourri factoids to good use. And I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would end up falling for my Sesshoumaru, but life is like that." She blushed a bit as she finally admitted it.

"Oh yea. Life is definitely like that." Seth glanced at her before he continued on. "I had a girlfriend back there. We'd only been going out for a few months, nothing special. I guess I have to wonder what'll happen. How things will change."

"Who knows?" Andy said. "I can guarantee you're adapting better than any newbie I've ever seen, though, and I've had to guide my share to town before. Being on-world for almost four years does that." She grinned. "I saw one girl throw a temper tantrum because her Blackberry didn't make the trip with her, and another started bawling because she didn't have her favorite stuffed bear."

Seth laughed a little. "Well, I like to think of it as the opportunity to make something of myself and a new chance at life. Nothing held against me, no rollovers, a fresh start. It probably helps that I'm mature."

"You have no idea," Andy agreed, grinning. "I got here when I was sixteen. I was stupid back then, and I'll admit it."

"We were all stupid when we were sixteen," Seth said with a grin. "I've never known a smart sixteen year old, nor a mature one."

"Yeah, really," Andy agreed. "I'm just glad I didn't get here any younger than that. And I easily could have, I had both internet and anime access since I was eleven."

"Oh that would have sucked. To go through puberty after getting here." Seth shivered. "It's bad enough on its own."

"I hear that," Andy said. "I don't see how the younger ones can do it, but they do. Not too long ago I saw a girl who had to have been like fourteen, but she acted like she'd been on-world at least six months or so."

Seth shook his head a little. "Honestly, they should wait a little longer than that to start inviting people."

"If you think about it," Andy said, "the trainer system here is based loosely off of the Pokemon trainer system, and the minimum age there is ten. At least the higher-ups here wait till potential trainers are thirteen."

"Thank god. Can you imagine having ten-year-old trainers running around?"

"That would be torture," Andy agreed. "It would practically be like babysitting, because you know they would end up just following us older trainers around."
