Seth chuckled and watched as Van Hellsing got pulled into a conversation with Norrington, since they were both humans. Shaking his head a little, he settled down to rest.

Andy methodically brushed Kaelas as she kept an eye on her group. It was quiet, and she was fairly sure it wouldn't stay that way for long, so she decided to enjoy it. She stopped brushing Kaelas when he got up and took the brush, and she wondered why before Sess sat down with her. Grinning, she cuddled into his side.
"I could brush your hair, too," she offered. Sess gave her a small grin, but didn't reply.

Seth chuckled and chatted with Olivia for a while before Belle got up.
"My stomach has declared it dinner time," she said, stretching as she got up. "Man, it felt good to sleep, but now I'm never going to sleep tonight." She heaved a little sigh before she shrugged and went to go get more meat to make food for them.

"Umm... if you want to help peel potatoes, that would be great," Belle said with a brief grin. "We're having venison steak, mashed potatoes, and some steamed root thingies."
"Sounds good." Seth wandered over to help with peeling.
"Hopefully."

Belle laughed a little and got out a few steaks, rubbing some spices on them and leaving them to sit for a bit as she got out all the necessary utensils and plates and such. "I say we need to get a cow next," she said with a little grin, starting to cut up the potatoes they'd already peeled.

"So I'll have the dragons keep an eye out next time we go flying," Andy said. "Temmy is always able to spot good meat, especially if there's enough of it to feed a dragon."

"Well we'll just get a couple of cows. One each for the dragons and one for all of us." Belle grinned and left the potatoes to boil for a while, keeping an eye on everything.

"Alright, I'll let them know to keep an eye out," Andy said. She heard her gear beep in her pocket and took it out. "Oh hey, they're running a software update," she commented. "It's about time. I wonder if this update will have an e-reader app or something in it..."

"I dunno. It's possible. I'm pretty sure you can buy an e-reader update for your gear," Belle commented, dropping in a few more potatoes. "I don't think it's free yet though."

"It's getting to the point I may break down and buy it," Andy said as she let the software updates run. That was the best part of being on a global wireless network, you always had a signal no matter where you were. "I'm getting too far behind on my favorite series. And it's easier to read a digital copy than a hard copy if I'm travelling by dragon."

"This is very very true," Belle agreed. "I like to get the hard copies of the books, but that's just because I don't know how many books I could fit on my gear if I got the e-reader. And I read a lot of books, and I like rereading my books."

"There's a certain something that hard copies have that digital copies don't," Andy agreed. "But I have the problem where I know I can't carry around all the books I like, so the e-reader is better because everything is in one place. And I re-read books like nobody's business." She grinned. "I'm a dork like that."

"Sure. If you want to make sure they're all mashed up really well, add a little milk and butter." Belle moved out of the way, attending to the steaks again.

"Ouch," Andy said, grinning. "That's pretty bad. Then again, my mother tried Peep Jousting once, that was kind of amusing." She paused when her gear beeped at her.
Taking it out, she frowned a little when the words 'unable to complete software download' scrolled across the screen, the tinny automatic voice reading it to her. "Unable to complete? What? Retry," she commanded. After a moment, it gave her the same result, along with the words 'wireless network has been disconnected.' "That's weird... The network just booted me off," she commented, doing what she could to try to reconnect. "Maybe it's about time I got this thing looked at..."
