"It's things like this that force you to figure out things like who flies well," Andy joked. "Like Kaelas and Tia. They don't fly well. At all. I'm going to need to have Temmy's harness repaired when this is all over."

Belle chuckled. "Well, I'm sure we'll have plenty of opportunities to get money while we're here," she said. "I mean, with all these trainers and bishis walking around with no escape, I'm sure lots of them will want to battle."

"It wouldn't surprise me at all," Andy replied. "We'll probably walk into a few scuffles without meaning to. It should be interesting, if nothing else."

"Yea. All the bishis will probably be getting antsy." Belle couldn't help but snicker a little.

"Oh yeah," Andy agreed. "I'm definitely going to have to keep my boys on a tight leash. It definitely won't be pretty if they end up in a fight because they don't want to sit still."

"Well I know mine are going to end up in a fight, no matter what," Belle said with a sigh. "So the only thing I want to make sure of is that they don't kill each other."

"I guess this is what we get for our tastes in guys," Andy teased. "It could probably be worse, but still."

Belle nodded. "Yeah, it could be. It could always be worse." She grinned.

Andy glanced into her room to make sure her group was getting along well enough. She didn't think there would be any problems, but there was always a chance, especially with everything going on.

"So, I noticed you and I have similar taste in reading material," she commented to Belle when she was sure there were no fights breaking out.

"Not surprised," Belle said with a shrug. "Although I have a couple of suggestions for books you HAVE to read if you haven't already. I have some really great books. Plus they're all book books, not e-books."

"I might have a few titles for you, as well," Andy said. "Trust me, I know there's something special about real books. I was going to go to school to be a librarian, before I found myself here."

"Yeah." Belle grinned. "I'll make a list and give it to you so we're not standing here all night listing off book names and wracking our brains to remember if we've seen them or not."

"Sounds good," Andy said. She grinned. "Not that we don't have the time to burn. Though what I did like to do, back on the outside, is I used to read with my iPod next to me and try to make soundtracks to the books. It didn't work so well, most of the time, but every so often I'd come up with something good."

"Oooooh, now that is a good idea," Belle said with a grin. "I like that idea. I think I'll try that from now on."

"It's fun," Andy said. "Though there were a few songs that I paired up with a book, or even with a character, that I would never EVER admit to. It would just make people mad."

"There's a reason they're called fandoms. Because people screw with things and twist them and have fun with them. I know that I had fun thinking of odd pairings for shows and books and things."

"I'm actually a bit old-school," Andy admitted. "I always liked to keep things as canon as possible, unless there was someone I honestly couldn't stand."

"Well, if I was writing fanfiction, I usually try for cannon," Belle said with a shrug. "But reading? Just about everything was game."

"I had my favorite pairings," Andy agreed. "I know I'd never be able to write them well, but I would read them. There were some things I flat-out refused to read, though. Crackfics and the like, I couldn't read them without wanting to hurl."

"Oh come on. Some crackfics were great! I read a few crackfics that were actually plausable for the program." Belle grinned. "Those were fun."

"Couldn't stand the things," Andy said, shaking her head. "I could practically feel my brain cells dying off. I think I may have read one crackfic that I liked, and that's because it made me giggle just thinking about the idea behind it."

"Okay, it is true that I couldn't read some crackfics," Belle admitted after a moment. "But there were some normal fics I couldn't read because my inner English major was correcting every other thing."

"I came into contact with my share of those, too," Andy agreed. "I got really picky with what I would read. If it sounded too illiterate, I had to stop or risk hurling. There are only so many sentence fragments and misspellings a person can take at once."

"I know, right?" Belle rolled her eyes. "Oh well. We have one better than fanfics now." She grinned before she turned to chide Thomas and Lucifer, who had been trying to sneak up on her.

"Yeah, really," Andy said, grinning. She didn't even blink as Kaelas stretched himself out at her feet. "You big housecat," she teased him.
