"We're girls, we actually like sap," Andy pointed out. "At least, sometimes."

"As long as there's not too much of it," Belle added.

"Sap isn't horrible." Seth smirked a little.

Andy shrugged a bit.

"Again, I like sap, most of the time, as long as it's not completely cavity-inducing."

"Unless you're using said cavity-inducing sap to torture someone else. Then it's all good." Belle grinned.

"If she tries that I'm leaving," Seth said.

"I wouldn't blame you," Andy said to Seth. For good measure, she threw a pillow at Belle.

Belle laughed and caught the pillow, using it to get more comfortable. "Alright, alright, I won't. You know what I have a sudden craving to watch?"

"Do I even want to know?" Seth asked warily.

"The old Pokemon movies. From back when I was like eight."

"I remember those!" Andy replied. "Before they got really cheesy and half-CGI." She grinned. "The first four were good. The next ten, not so much."

"Yeah, basically. And the games were always fun too. Although Diamond and Pearl had kinda half-assed, cutsey pokemon. What they really need to do is remake the original ones, like they did with Silver and Gold." Belle sighed wistfully. "That would be great."

"Crystal was my favorite version," Andy said. "For the simple fact that it was the first game where they offered a female character. I don't think I ever chose the Grass-type starter, even in the original versions." She grinned. "I'm a real dork, I know what my ideal team would look like and everything."

"My ideal team wouldn't be a team, it would be a posse," Belle said with a grin. "But I know my favorite pokemon from all of the different game versions, and which team I'd want for each game. But if I could have pokemon, I'd have like thirty because I wouldn't be able to choose just six."

"I can see that," Seth said. "There are some pretty awesome pokemon. The originals were always the best, though. Once they introduced the ones that traveled through time and space and alternate realities I just stopped."

"I could probably build a decent team from just the original set," Andy said. "Though my favorite pokemon is actually a second-gen evolution. I stopped with the third-gen, but my favorite set is probably the second."

"I dunno. The first-gen pokemon kick some pretty serious ass." Belle looked over at Seth.

"Don't drag me into the middle of it," he said, holding up his hands. "I'm not taking sides."

"My ideal team is a mix of first- and second-gen," Andy replied. "I was a total dork when I had those games... I built a team of psychic-types."

"Psychic types were pretty cool," Belle admitted. "I didn't have a favorite type, though. Not realy."

"If I couldn't get my hands on a psychic-type, my next choice would probably be a Dragonair," Andy said. She shrugged a bit. "There was a minor glitch in the original Gold and Silver versions where you could catch wild Dragonair if you found that little random pond with an Apricorn tree next to it, south of Blackthorn City." She grinned sheepishly. "Can you tell I played those games too much?"

Belle laughed. "Yeah, but that's okay. I did too. A few years ago I started to replay all of them. I even dug through my brother's closet to get the last of the games, the ones that he got and I didn't."

Andy grinned.

"The MissingNo. glitch was the best glitch ever, it made the game so much easier, although you practically had to finish the game to find it."

"I only got to it once," Belle said. "But that was fun. Man I want to play Pokemon now..."

"You know you can actually catch Pokemon, right?" Seth said. "I've been reading while we're here, and pokemon are quite popular to get as companions."

"I know, but that just makes things complicated," Andy pointed out. "You have to train the trainers to train their pokemon, and it all gets a bit confusing and annoying after a while." She'd been on-world long enough to have heard people complain about it before.

"From what I've read, you can catch pokemon yourself and train them," Seth said. "You have to get pokeballs instead of bishiballs, but it works the same way."

"That would be pretty neat," Belle admitted.

"Extremely tempting. We may have to go check it out sometime," Belle said with a grin.

"Well, all the Pokemon and trainers and such are on an island off this coast. There are daily boat depatures, and some people offer balloon rides or dragon rides over to the island. They just ask that any other animal-like bishis you have stay away while you're on the island," Seth said, flipping through a book.

"Maybe once the network is back, we should check it out," Andy suggested. "Two dragons and a giant talking cat are kind of counter-productive."
