"I've pulled all-nighters before," Andy said. "I just rather like sleep when I can get it, that's all."

"We spent a couple weeks staying up all night and sleeping all day," Belle said. "We were trying to find vampires, then Dark-Hunters, both of which are up after dark. That was interesting."

"And you became rather loopy and insane after a certain hour of the morning," Eclipse said with a little smile.

"Oh hush."

"I think the only territory that I actively pulled all-nighters in was the Black Jewels area," Andy mused as she snuggled back closer to Sess. She didn't have to look to know that Lucivar rolled his eyes.

"That explains so much," she heard him mutter.

"Well, half of the interesting people in the books were demon-dead, and they're only out at night," she reasoned. "I wasn't looking to catch any of them, but I still kind of wanted to see them."

"Yeah, I know how you feel," Belle said with a grin. "I never went into the Dark Hunter territory planning on catching an Ash."

"But somehow you ended up with me." Acheron sounded amused.

"Hey, it's not my fault you were lying in the middle of the field," Belle said with a grin.

"I like to be realistic about who I'd be able to handle capturing," Andy said. "And there's no way I'd be able to handle a Prothvar or an Andulvar. Hell, I can barely handle Lucivar." She grinned. "Though eventually I want to go back and find a Surreal, or a Karla."

"Yeah, there are some bishis I'd like to go back and get sometime. Depending on how well this lot continues to behave." Belle grinned briefly.

"I may try to take a detour into the Harry Potter territories, once the latest movie makes it here," Andy said. "I've been meaning to go there eventually anyways, so it's not like I need the excuse, but still."

"To be honest, I'm over Harry Potter. I mean, it was great for a while, but they dragged it out for way too long with the movies. And I didn't like the seventh book."

"I'll admit, the seventh book was way over-dramatic," Andy said. "Definitely over the top. But the movies are still alright."

"I dunno. The last one I saw was the sixth, and that one was good but I didn't much like it. After she killed off Sirius I kinda hated her." Belle shook her head.

"I was able to tolerate all the kill-offs until she picked off Fred," Andy said. "My favorites were always Fred and George, at least on the Light side."

"Yeah. That last book was the worst. But they were still pretty bad." Belle sighed.

"Hey, they were eons better than Twilight," Andy pointed out. "Though I have to admit that I used to find myself reading it a little at a time, and I don't know why. Laspes in sanity, I guess." She shrugged.

"Hey, I read the books when they originally came out. I even read Breaking Dawn. Went to the midnight thing and all. That book was weird." Belle shrugged. "They were okay before they became so popular."

"I never went to any of the midnight things," Andy said. "I was actually at a convention when Breaking Dawn came out, and I was texting a friend of mine all day asking what she thought of it." She grinned. "She was ranting all day."

"Now that must have been fun." Belle chuckled and shook her head. "The books weren't all that bad, but the movies are bad and the publicity is bad. Anything that popular is bound to be somewhat bad."

"The books are half-way decent, if you're not a hard-core modern-fantasy buff," Andy said. "Good enough to pass the time. But yes, the movies were terrible, and the publicity is over the top."

"WAY over the top." Belle sighed. "Oh well. You could find a bunch of good books for cheaper, like the Dresden files, and the books by Lilith Saintcrow."

"I don't think I've read those second ones," Andy said. "Then again, I read the first fifteen Laurell K Hamilton books before I had to stop. They ended up turning into bad porn, and there wasn't enough actual substance around it to sustain anything. The first five or so were decent enough, though."

"I've been meaning to read those. The Lilith Saintcrow books are good, though. She has two series now, I believe. I read the first series, and that one was good. Seriously depressing stuff, but good."

"Laurell K Hamilton has two series, but I stayed away from the Merry Gentry one. It was literally all about sex, and there was very little else besides," Andy said. "At least the Anita Blake series started out okay, but around Burnt Offerings it started to degenerate into more of the same."

"That does happen sometimes," Belle said with a sad sigh. "Oh well. There's plenty of good books out there."

"Right," Andy agreed. "I'm always keeping an eye out for new material from my favorite authors." She shrugged. "It tends to be erratic, but what can you do?"

"Reread books several times." Belle grinned broadly.

"Oh trust me, I do," Andy replied, grinning as well. "I'm sure you can quote your favorite books as well as I can quote my favorites."
