"Or both," Belle added. "Find us amusing, then try to kill us."

"Key word being 'try'," Lucifer said dryly.

"Obviously, seeing as her death spells won't work and her stiletto has that blunting spell thing on it," Andy pointed out, purposely implying that a Surreal would be able to kill him off otherwise. Call it pay back for him messing with Lucivar earlier.

Lucifer growled at her. Belle merely snickered and tugged on his hair lightly.

"Down boy. You can dig a nice little grave for your ego later," she teased. Lucifer growled for another moment before he made a grumbling noise, half-tempted to drop Belle.

Andy snickered but didn't say anything else. She'd gotten the reaction she wanted.

Belle grinned and finally got down after a little while, walking next to Lucifer.

A few hours later she stopped and yawned briefly. "Sun's gonna set pretty soon. We want to set up camp here or see if there's anything better a little farther up?"

"Up to you," Andy replied. "A few more minutes won't matter either way." Her feet ached, but she could stand it a bit longer so they could set up camp.

Belle glanced at Lucifer, who sighed as if he was very put-upon, and went ahead to look.

"There's a clearing up here!" he yelled back to them only a minute or so later.

"Up there it is." Belle headed over there, already deciding which of her bishis to volunteer for room usage.

"Sounds good to me," Andy said, following Belle. She grinned. "I kind of missed this while we were in town. Electricity and running water are great, but I still missed camping."

"Ah yes, the constant threat of picking up some bacteria or parasite, vulnerability to weather, and instant food. How we missed you." Belle grinned as she got to the clearing, setting up rocks in a circle for the fire before she started gathering up wood dry enough to burn.

"Oh honestly, Belle, did you have to ruin it?" Andy replied. "Wonderful mental images by the way."

"Yup." Belle grinned. "Thank you." She dumped more wood on the firepit and lit it up, sitting back to enjoy the heat.

Andy directed a few of her bishies to start setting up their part of the camp before sitting down in front of the fire as well. Her legs and feet ached a bit, so she wanted to relax a bit before helping set up the rest of camp.

Belle stretched out a bit before she sat down and started to rifle through the food things that she had. "So, do we feel like ramen or finding and cooking something?"

"Either one is fine with me," Andy replied. She stretched a little and felt a few of her joints pop. "I'll help with the cooking if you want me to."

"Too lazy to do any real cooking tonight." Belle set up the necessary pot and water, letting it sit so she could make ramen.

"Ramen sounds good to me," Andy agreed. She rummaged through her bag and pulled out a few packs of noodles and waited for the water to boil.

Belle dumped in the noodles once the water was boiling, waiting for Andy to put hers in as well before she stirred it all up, humming under her breath.

Andy added her own noodles to the ramen and let Belle do what she wanted. Things were easier when Andy didn't mess around with the cooking.

Belle hummed to herself as she cooked, half-tempted to pull out her iPod. But she wasn't sure if everyone would approve of her music, and nothing was worse than having people bickering over music. So she just hummed and cooked, adding the flavoring when the noodles were soft enough.

Andy didn't mind the humming at all, and actually vaguely recognized the tune herself. Once everyone was settled, she moved off to the far end of the clearing and let her dragons out.

Belle finished cooking and got out bowls so everyone could eat. She got a portion for herself and poured another portion into a bowl for Andy so she wouldn't have to worry about being left the dregs. Then she let the wolves descend on the food.

Andy knew the drill by now, and took the bowl.

"Thanks," she said as she got out of the way so she wasn't trampled or anything.

"Mmhm." Belle ate her own ramen quietly, looking up at the sky. "I have to admit, I did miss the way you can stare up at the stars until you fall asleep."

"Agreed," Andy replied, looking up at the sky as well. "Clearer out here than in the city, no extra light to drown them out." She grinned. "When did we turn into such saps?"

"Somewhere in the middle of all our fandoms," Belle said with an easy grin.
