"Wander around and hope we find the way out?" Andy said. "I don't know if this place follows all the landscape rules, I've never been here before."

"Well, I suppose we'll find out, probably sooner than we like." Belle looked around. "Pick a direction."

Andy looked at her map. Once she figured out where the Black Jewels territory should be, she pointed. "That way?"

Belle nodded and started walking. Hey, maybe they'd get lucky and the landscape would let them out. Maybe. Iffy.

Like things were ever that easy.

Andy kept an eye on her map as they walked. The little dot that indicated her gear on the map got closer and closer to the edge of the territory... and then suddenly appeared on the opposite end of the area, moving towards the middle.

"Belle..." she said. She pointed to her map.

Belle walked over to go look, frowning. Then she sighed.

"Perfect. Just friggin' perfect." She shook her head. "Just what we need, a rotating map."

"I don't think it's the map," Andy said as she stopped walking. She looked around. "Everything looks a bit different, I think we're actually in a different place."

"Well my suggestion for now is that we try to find a way out, any way out, and worry about getting back to the Black Jewels territory once we're out."

Andy nodded.

"Agreed," she said.

Belle nodded and started walking again, hoping that they'd get lucky and find a way out.

"Maybe someone will take pity on us and show us the way out," Andy said, grinning a bit. She was only half joking.

"At the rate we're going someone will have to." Belle sighed.

Andy looked around and sighed.

"We may as well stop for today," she said. "We can try escaping again tomorrow. Fair warning, bookverse Sebastian and Teaser walk through people's dreams."

"Well they would, if they're incubi," Belle said with a little shrug. "So if I start making happy noises... don't wake me up." She grinned.

Andy rolled her eyes.

"I'm not the one who would be annoyed about it," she pointed out. "Besides, I sleep deeper than you do, I won't be awake."

"This is true," Belle conceded. "Well, we'll see what happens. If one of them wanders through your head they better be careful. Sesshomaru might try to hunt them down." She grinned broadly.

Andy blushed a little.

"That would be interesting," she said. She grinned at Belle. "You know, I could say the same about you and Eclipse."

Belle fought down a blush and mostly won. "Maybe," she said with a shrug. "We won't know unless they decide to try to come play."

"I saw that," Andy teased. "I've never seen you blush like that, what caused it?"

Belle shot her a look. "Let's just say that Eclipse isn't as brave as Sesshomaru was." She shrugged. "Mostly just my overactive romantic side."

"I don't know what you're talking about," Andy lied boldly. She couldn't fight back the blush, though.

"Ha! Yea right." Belle rolled her eyes and paused when she saw a stream up ahead. "Um, we weren't near any water, were we?"

"No, we weren't," Andy replied. "But we crossed the border of the territory. It must have put us in a different part of the territory itself. Bookverse Ephemera is like that, sometimes."

"Huh. Wonder where we are now." Belle shrugged, figuring they'd get out and find their way back eventually.

"Opposite end of the territory," Andy replied. "I was watching my map when we crossed the boundary." She opened her map again and pointed to the stream that ran across the northeastern part of the territory. "Right here, closer to the World of the Fae territory than the Realms of the Blood now. Still Anne Bishop, but WAY different."
