"I think we should share Kaelas," Belle said. "I don't have a big kitty to defend me, plus you've got the dragons."

"Sounds alright to me," Andy agreed. "You can hide behind Kaelas and pray that eight hundred pounds of cat can protect you."

"Sounds good to me." Belle moved over to hide behind Kaelas, scratching behind his ears to placate his being used as a shield.

Andy went over to sit closer to Sesshoumaru. It was more of an excuse to sit next to him than anything else, but still.

Lucifer glanced at the two trainers before he shook his head, muttered something about 'tomorrow', and went to go flop down to sleep. Thomas rolled his eyes but also moved off to go settle down for the night.

Belle blinked. What just happened? Had they actually averted disaster?

"I think we just delayed the inevitable," Andy murmured to Belle. She'd been thinking the same thing that her friend was.

"Wow. That's a minor miracle in and of itself." Belle blinked before she shrugged it off and went back to petting Kaelas. "Well, what now? You wanna stay up for a while or go to bed?"

"Bed sounds good," Andy replied. "Less of a chance of walking into some sort of trouble that way."

"Agreed." Belle moved over to go take over Eclipse's PD room. "Night all!"

"Night!" Andy replied as she went to settle in with Seshoumaru.

The next morning found Belle up and making coffee, and practically incapable of holding still. She growled to herself as she started putting things away and fixing pancakes for breakfast. Eclipse was close by, leaning against a tree watching her.

Andy woke up the next morning when she heard things being tossed around.

"What's going on?" she asked, poking her head out.

"Making breakfast," Belle replied with forced cheer. "Who do you think will want some?"

Eclipse frowned, just a little, but didn't move to go fuss over her. She'd already swatted him for that once today.

"Will I get killed for asking what's got you so pissed of this morning?" Andy asked instead. She wasn't blind.

"No," Belle said after a moment. "I think I saw a Sebastian last night, and Eclipse was not pleased. And then I had nightmares after that and didn't get much sleep."

"Should I ask what happened?" Andy asked.

"Very unpleasant things." Belle shivered at the memory, quickly flipping the berry pancakes. "Hungry?"

"Not really," Andy replied. "I'll probably grab one of my granola bars later or something."

"Ok. Mind asking everyone else before I make the rest of these?" Belle glanced over at her.

"Sure," Andy replied. She went around and asked everyone if they wanted breakfast, and sent them over to Belle if they did."

Belle handed out pancakes to everyone who wanted them before she started to clean everything up, getting ready to go again. Once she was done with the dishes she could do, she sat down and rearranged her backpack, muttering to herself.

All her bishis exchanged looks, either nervous, amused, or a combination of the two.

Once she was dressed, Andy cautiously got closer to Belle.

"Talk to me," she said. "What's wrong?"

Belle shot a withering, 'may lightning strike you on the spot' glare at Lucifer when he snickered. Then she looked back at Andy.

"The nightmares were disturbing enough on their own," she said quietly so the others weren't likely to overhear them unless they intended to. "Plus it's that time of the month and I'm cramping like hell."

"I have emergency chocolate in my bag, if you want," Andy offered, trying to lighten the mood a bit. "I can't help with the nightmares, but chocolate is always good."

"Chocolate is good. I may take you up on that offer at lunchtime." Belle stretched out, winced, and picked up her bag. "Whenever you're ready to go, I want to head over to Black Jewels. I know you mentioned you might want to look for a couple people there, and I know I do."
