"I might catch someone," Andy replied. "Not sure. They're all kind of a handful."

"Some of them aren't as bad, though. Like a Marian, or even a Karla. They'd have attitudes, sure, but they also listen to reason." Belle shot most of the guys there a look, which none of hers bothered to object to.

Andy grinned.

"I would end up arguing with a Marian over what I see to be the proper way to do my laundry," she said. "Or the right way to pack my bag, or the right way to wash the dishes."

Belle laughed. "Yeah, but Lucivar would thank you for it," she said with a knowing grin. "Although you might want to wait on that, if Temmy and Li Li end up with an egg. Which I'm still betting will happen."

"I'm still waiting for it, too," Andy replied. "I'll be more surprised if it doesn't happen."

Belle chuckled and nodded. "Well, shall we go?"

Lucifer chose then to approach as most of the others vanished, though he glanced at Lucivar. "We had an idea last night."

"An idea?" Andy repeated, glancing at Lucivar and raising an eyebrow.

"If we can get you far enough up you can see where you need to go," Lucifer said with a shrug.

"And what's wrong with dragons doing this?" Belle asked, eyeing him.

"Nowhere near as fun." Lucifer grinned.

"Then why am I still suspicious of your idea?" Andy asked. It couldn't have been Lucivar's idea, not when he knew it would make Sesshoumaru incredibly jealous.

"I have no idea. We're not going to drop you, or let anything happen to you. You know that. This way we get to fly for a bit and you guys get out of here faster." Lucifer smiled, proud of his logic.

"Uh huh." Belle eyed him warily before she sighed. "You're not going to let this go are you?"

"Not a chance in Hell."

"I can still think of two very good reasons why this is a Bad Idea," Andy pointed out. "And their names are Sess and Eclipse."

Lucifer shrugged. "Eh. They need to be prodded along from time to time."

"You're turned suicidal," Belle said after a moment. "For some reason. I swear I didn't think I was that bad."

"Oh hush, you're not. I wouldn't be offering to carry you otherwise. Now we can do this one of two ways; the easy way and you cooperate or I pick you up right now and you don't have a choice."

"Oh, I can just see this not ending well," Andy said. "This is a Bad Idea on more than once level..." She looked over at Lucivar. "You'll have brought it up on yourself, you know. I can't protect you." Lucivar just shrugged.

"I'm conceding defeat. I don't feel like arguing right now." Belle picked up her pack, and Lucifer grinned before he scooped her up after making sure everyone else (including Eclipse) was away, taking off into the air. Belle let out a startled yelp, quickly winding her arms around him as he spread his wings, waiting for Lucivar and scanning the area for a way out.

Andy made sure everyone else was away before letting Lucivar pick her up. She clung to him tightly, and kept her eyes shut. Being on dragonback was one thing, this was something entirely different, and she was terrified of heights.

Belle managed to relax enough to find what looked like the border. She pointed it out to Lucifer, who nodded and headed that direction, taking his time. Lucivar would probably be pretty tame, since Andy was terrified, but he had no problem with scaring Belle a bit. So he did a couple loops and dropped a few feet here and there, and soon Belle was swearing a steady stream, her voice rising to a near-squeak every time he did something unexpected. But she was still swearing.

Lucivar just rolled his eyes and followed the other two. He kept the pace easy and sedate, since he was absolutely sure that Sesshoumaru would kill him if he let anything happen to Andy.

Still snickering to himself, Lucifer glanced back at Lucivar. They'd figured out that since they both had a form of telepathy, if they thought hard enough at each other they could communicate.

*I can't tell if we're out of the territory or not yet. I know that's the Black Jewels over there somewhere, so do you think we should head in that direction or put the girls down and let them figure it out?*

*Let's try getting across the border, first,* Lucivar replied. *If it works, great. If not, we can figure out what to do from there.* He didn't really want to have to fly with Andy again if he didn't have to. She wasn't good with heights.

*Works for me.* Lucifer kept flying and noticed a subtle shift when they crossed the border back into the normal territory. He glanced down to see if there was anywhere good to land below them. *I'm pretty sure we're out now, but I don't see anywhere below that doesn't require maneuvering in the trees. Belle would probably try to kill me.*

Lucivar felt the territory shift, as well, and almost visibly relaxed. They were definitely back in his home territory. He looked around to get his bearings.

*About five minutes northwest, the trees thin out a little,* he said. He knew exactly where they could land without getting anywhere near the secret city.

*I'll follow you. You know your way around here.* Lucifer shifted a little so that Lucivar was in front. Belle's swearing had quieted down and he glanced down to find her simply nestled against him looking like she was actually enjoying herself now.

Lucivar nodded and moved to the front. He knew a good place to set down, and it didn't take him long to find an area where the trees were thin enough to land. Once he was on the ground again, he set Andy down.

Lucifer followed his example, landing lightly and setting Belle on the ground.

"Okay, that wasn't bad," she admitted, brushing herself off. "After you stopped pulling the stupid shit." She glared at Lucifer, who merely snickered.

"Yay, solid ground," Andy said. "God I hate heights... It's different on a dragon."
