Thomas snickered. "You might as well. I'm sure we've got at least a little bit more time before those two get back."

"Never know, she may get extremely lucky and trip over someone soon," Andy said. She grinned. "I mean, hell, she DID trip over Dejaal."

"Quite literally." Thomas grinned broadly. "I'm half-tempted to get her a Mouse. Just to see what she'd do."

"Mouse is badass," Andy said, grinning. "He went up about a thousand cool points when I read Changes. Just because he talked."

Thomas laughed. "Well then next time we're by my territory I'll get in and get her a Mouse. I'm sure you two would enjoy that."

"That would be awesome," Andy replied. "It'll be amusing to see how well he'd get along with Kaelas."

"And Dejaal." Thomas grinned. "Well, make sure you swing by that area and you'll find out." He winked at her playfully.

"We'll see," Andy replied. She ignored the slight, or not-so-slight, flirting.

Thomas's grin widened. "Really, Andy, darling, I thought I'd get better than a 'we'll see'," he teased with a big grin. Now he was just doing it for fun. And to get a reaction.

And she wasn't falling for it.

"You do realize this is a Bad Idea, right?" she said, grinning a bit. "I think I mention something like that every time you start flirting with me."

Thomas shrugged. "I've had worse ideas, and worse treatment. Besides which, it's just way too fun." He grinned and then paused, looking off to the side. "They're back."

Belle let Lucivar enter first, and they were both surprisingly largely unscathed. She doubted Lucivar would go out with her again, since she'd invaded his personal space (but not cuddled with him, miraculously). Behind her was a Saetan, one black eyebrow raised as he surveyed the camp.

"I've seen worse," were his first words after he'd finished his inspection.

"Thanks a lot," Andy promptly replied. "Fair warning, here be dragons."

"Big dragons," Belle said.

Saetan nodded slowly, having already spoken some to Lucivar. "Anything else?"

"Kaelas and Dejaal." Belle nodded to the two big kitties. "You met Lucivar already. Pretty much everyone else you'll meet later on at some point."

Andy grinned.

"This is one of those 'life is good' moments," she commented.

"Yup." Belle grinned. "Come sit. I swear we're not that bad most of the time." She grinned and sat down next to Dejaal, who looked at the High Lord of Hell for a moment before snorting and resting his head on his front paws again. Saetan looked faintly bemused, though he sat down.

"Really, we're not all as insane as she is," Andy said. "And if Temeraire starts talking to you for no real reason, please humor him. He likes new people to talk to." As an afterthought, she added, "he's the black dragon."

"I assume they are not currently out," Saetan said, raising one eyebrow again.

"No, they're too big. They'd attract a lot of attention." Belle shrugged. "But I'm sure you'll meet him. He's friendly. Lien might not be, but she's not so bad. She's the white one."

"This is not a territory were I would let a pair of thirty-ton dragons wander around," Andy added. "Not at all."

"Yes, that would be wise," Saetan agreed. "You never know who they might run into here."

"Like you?" Belle asked with a grin.

Saetan merely gave her a look and shook his head, rather amused.

Andy snorted.

"I have a fairly good idea of who they would run into around here," she said. "On a good day, Temmy and Jaenelle would be fantastic friends."

Saetan's lips twitched before he shrugged, settling down where he sat. "In any case, I doubt we will find out. Unless one of you plans to try to catch a Jaenelle?"

"Sorry, no. I don't really need to add a Jaenelle to my group; they're crazy enough as is. And no, that's not entirely my fault. They all came crazy, I just condensed it."

"I refuse," Andy replied. "I can't handle more than Lucivar and Kaelas at once, I know that."

"I think I'm going to settle on relieved." Saetan closed his eyes briefly. "I've dealt with enough children already."

Belle couldn't help but snicker at the mental images that produced but she didn't say anything.

"I like to think I know better," Andy replied. She couldn't help but add, "Nobody's going to be turned blue and pink or anything, this way."

Saetan's lips twitched again, though he didn't laugh. He merely glanced at Kaelas.

"I still have to go find those bloody books," Belle grumbled. "At least this way I can read Sebastian."
