"If I had a copy, I'd give it to you," Andy replied. "But lugging around a bunch of books is a little counterproductive around here." She sighed and grinned. "I love those books so much, though."

"This is why I got PD capsuls. And why I've been able to basically rebuild my library from the other side." She sighed wistfully. "Although I will miss some of the old books..."

"I didn't have much of a library when I was sixteen," Andy said. "Though the librarians knew me by name, and knew my phone number by heart because they had to call so many times with my orders."

"Yeah, my family just bought all our books because a lot of things got read by the whole family, and even if they didn't I always reread my books. Usually several times." Belle shook her head. "Oh well. I've got lots of good books. You'll find out sooner or later that whenever it rains outside, I read and I let everyone else borrow books if they want to. You might find some of them interesting." That last bit was directed to Saetan, whose eyebrows shot up.

"She does," Andy confirmed. "I've been digging through her collection for a while. She and I have a lot of reading in common, it's great."

Saetan chuckled quietly. "I see," he said, sounding amused.

"Glad to know we amuse you," Belle quipped, stretching out her legs and popping her ankles.

"May as well make yourself comfortable, we're probably going to hang around for a couple more days," Andy said. "Which reminds me, I need to take my dragons out tomorrow, Belle, so I'll probably track down a bit lake so they can go fishing."

"Okay. I'll probably go wander around and see if I find anything interesting." Belle yawned briefly. "And hopefully interesting will mean interesting and not "OMG run away"."

Andy snorted.

"Most people would have had an 'omg run away' moment after stumbling over Dejaal," she pointed out.

"Okay, true, so an 'OMG run away' moment of my kind. Which would be like a pissed off Daemon."

"That would scare the hell out of anyone," Andy agreed. She paused. "Well, almost anyone," she amended.

"Except Jaenelle." Belle shook her head.

"Or unless he's only a child," Saetan added. "Then his rage isn't so scary."

"Speak for yourself," Andy replied. "I'd be making some sort of excuse to get myself very far away and out of the crossfire."

"I do speak from experience," Saetan said quite calmly. "I have seen it more than once."

Andy shook her head.

"I would still be properly wary," she replied. "Things like hiding behind a dragon or a giant cat would suddenly sound like excellent ideas."

Saetan chuckled quietly. "It's even better when a little Lucivar throws a fit. I remember one time we couldn't get him down for hours. Might have been that one, too." He nodded to Lucivar with a devious twinkle in his eyes.

Lucivar just sighed and tried to ignore the conversation. Andy glanced between the two of them and grinned.

"Oh I'm going to like having you around," she said to Saetan.

Saetan examined Lucivar for a moment before he nodded. "Yes, it was him. I remember because I had to grab him from the top of the stairs and he bit me."

Belle snorted and examined the hand that Saetan held out. Sure enough, there was a faint scar along the fleshy part of his thumb.

"No way," Andy replied. The look on Lucivar's face was enough, and she dissolved into a fit of giggles.

Andy's laughter only made Belle laugh harder, especially at the look on Lucivar's face. "Oh that is too much," she gasped, grinning broadly. "What other stories do you have?"

"Plenty," Saetan said, and he couldn't help but smirk. This could be fun...

The look on Lucivar's face clearly said 'kill me now.' It took Andy a good minute or so to calm down again, but she managed.

"Let's not embarrass him any more tonight," she said. "Elsewise, he may spontaneously combust or something."

"Or I might," Saetan said with a smirk. "It is getting late, unless you intended to stay up all night."

"Nah, I think I'm gonna turn in soon." Belle yawned briefly.

Andy nodded in agreement.

"Crashing for the night sounds good," she said.

Belle nodded and got up. "For the record, I love PD rooms. They're even better than tent camping. Night!" Grinning, she went into Thomas's room, since he'd volunteered, and left the others to decide what they wanted to do for the night.

Andy stretched and got up to go settle in for the night. It didn't take her all that long to fall asleep.

Sesshoumaru didn't immediately go in to join her. He stayed out by the fire for a while, instead.
