"They aren't sure," Andy replied. "I pretty much for a whole lot of nothing out of that talk." She sat down to watch Belle cook. "I'm sure we'll find out soon, regardless."

Belle snorted. "At least with Pern dragons you know when you're going to get eggs," she said with a grin. "Dinner will be ready pretty soon. I just want to make sure these are cooked."

"Like I said, we'll find out soon enough," Andy said. She grinned. "Now, I could make a joke about what the cat dragged in, but even I'm not that bad."

"Not to mention you'll be eating this," Belle said with a smirk. "So you can't throw stones." She flipped the steak again.

Andy grinned.

"Again, not making the joke," she said. "Not that dumb."

Belle chuckled and poked one of the potatoes, testing it to make sure it was done. Then she got out plates, putting potatoes on the plates. "Everything's ready for whenever you want to get food."

Andy nodded and quickly fixed herself a plate before moving out of the proverbial line of fire.

Belle did the same, getting some food and moving off to the side so she was out of the way. She took her time eating, staying quiet.

Andy noticed how quiet she was being.

"Everything alright?" she asked.

"Far as I know," Belle said with a smile. "Just making sure everyone's going to get along okay and not try to kill each other, or anything like that."

"They haven't yet," Andy pointed out. "But I see your point."

"Yeah." Belle looked over when Saetan emerged, looking at Daemon and Lucivar before smiling.

"Well, this is certainly going to be interesting," he said. "Congratulations, Belle, you've gotten perhaps one of the most difficult people to reason with once he's made up his mind. I would know. I've attempted to do so on numerous occasions."

Andy just grinned a bit and shook her head.

"This should be good," she said. "Never in my wildest dreams did I think I was going to see this many Jeweled Blood in one place."

"Well, we could always get more," Belle joked, though she watched them. Daemon narrowed his eyes at Saetan, who merely smirked.

"I don't think so," Andy said. "We have five Warlord Princes between us. No more."

"It was only hypothetical," Belle said. "I'm not getting another one. I've got three already. Although Dejaal isn't bad."

Dejaal gave the other two Warlord Princes a smug look.

"Belle, nothing is hypothetical with you," Andy pointed out. She grinned and teased, "Besides, Kaelas is still more well-behaved. Most of the time, at least."

Belle snorted. "Kaelas and Dejaal are both fairly well behaved. But can you imagine having a Prothvar or an Andulvar around?"

"God, that would just be chaos," Andy replied. She shook her head. "Please no. No more."

"Yeah, that's too much for even me." Belle shivered at the thought before she yelped as Daemon dropped an ice cube down the back of her shirt. She jumped to her feet and turned to glare at him. "You realize, of course, this means war."

"I'd like to see you try." Daemon smirked.

Belle glanced at Saetan before she literally tackled Daemon, fishing the ice cube out of her shirt before sliding it down the front of his and running away.

Andy couldn't help it, she just started laughing.

"That was amazing," she gasped when she caught her breath.

"Glad we could be of service," Daemon said dryly as invisible hands tripped Belle, but didn't quite let her fall face-first on the ground. Belle flipped over and scowled at Daemon.

"Let go."

"No. I have to get you back."

"Hey, that was payback! You started it!"

"And I will end it."

Belle scowled fiercely at him, totally unafraid of him. "Damned if I let you." She got another ice cube from somewhere and slipped it in his boot, scrambling away while he tried to fish it out without actually taking off the boot.

Andy just watched the spectacle, laughing until she couldn't breathe anymore. This was hysterical, and she vaguely wondered if this was going to happen every night.

Daemon and Belle paused, looked over at Andy since she was so amused, and then exchanged identical evil grins. Daemon dropped an ice cube down the back of Andy's shirt.

Andy yelped and squirmed around, trying to get the ice cube out again. Once she managed to get it, she threw it back at Belle.
