Explanation: i saw the tree as gray in color, so i made the skin gray... i wanted to get one of those bulbous parts of the glass, hence the puffy skirt and a little slimmer look on the top... i also wanted items that stuck out of the avi and still keep some of the soft curves of the glass but have somethings sharp to represent the ends of some of the tubing... as for the color, i saw primary colors with some orange and white, so that is what i kept with...

this was a tricky one :sweat:

Explanation: I was going for as little of my avi and as more of the pops of stringy colors as possible. I tried to stick to the orange, yellow, blue, and red tones that are present in the image to create a chaos of string like craziness.

@sizz- I was inspired, I just needed to make it look ok o.0

Regardless, I'd prefer the gold to the squid hats anyway, so I'm just checking more than anything. :ninja:

Explanation: Okay, I think the colors are pretty self-explanatory. I tried to use lots of ribbony/swirly items to reflect the twirly pieces of glass. The eye protectors reminded me of the bulby parts of the glass, so I decided to incorporate that into the avatar as well.

EDIT (x2): Okay, I realize that I'm being annoying, but I really like the avatar I made with a darker hairstyle better. Would it be okay if I edited my entry with the slightly different avatar?

Explanation: What struck me the most about the picture was how bold the colors of the tubes were in contrast with the dark backdrop. So, I emphasized this convergence of colors in my avatar, making sure to use a dark background to highlight the colors even more. I used flowy items and items that stuck out at odd places to represent the tubes (since they're never 100% organized, right? >;P). Also, the Light Spell is to represent the bright glowy spot in the right side of the inspiration image.

Explanation: What first grabbed my attention, was the palm tree, and how it is an almost gray color. That's what I focused on, building this avatar. I then added small, colorful accents, to represent the twirling tubes. I made sure to leave enough of gray, to give that transparent feel.

Explanation: There were so many colors to chose from, I didn't want to muddle the avi by using them all. SO, I focused on the colors that popped the most to me, which were the royal blue and the golden yellow. I did this against the zombie skin, because it had similar hues to the gray green palm tree that the delicate glass was placed in. I love Chihuly's work, and have seen it before in the past. This was hard though, but because I am such a fan, I decided to try it anyways.

Explanation: I guess you will see how everyone uses the squid hat in this week's entry, eh?? Well, I just wanted to go for the Underwater Guardian look. This avi is clearly guarding the gates to Atlantis, with her squid friend to help her....though, he looks right now to be a little more of a nuisance than a help.
