Thanks Linnea. :yes: It's going to be a long drive... And we're leaving in the middle of the night, after attempting to go to bed at 7 or 8 so we manage to get at least some sleep. I'm not as young as I used to be, and driving in the middle of the night spells a-c-c-i-d-e-n-t. :sweat:

yea it does make you a little loopy...
me and a ex best pal, drove from portland maine to seattle washington in less then two days... it was non stop driving except for gasoline stops and it was bad caffeine, redbull whatever it didn't work cause we were beyond tired

i remember it was the worst when we got to like montana... i couldn't stay awake at all and i was all over the road... the person i was with was sleeping cause she was exhausted too, so we had to pull over and nap for like an hour and we still made it in less then two days (46 hours)

Okay, wow. I'm glad you're still alive and not in jail. Not many cops along that stretch of Montana?

(Actually... there probably wasn't much of anything, was there? Montana has a lot of empty, right?)

oh yes just lots of empty for sure... it was like ya know, 3 or 4 in the morning too, so not a lot of other drivers thank goodness, i don't think i saw anyone for a very long time that night

when i left seattle, i drove south to northern nevada to stay with family for week, oregon is really pretty by the way, and i had to stop there and stay at a skeevy hotel and drive to nevada... it took us about a week to drive from reno, nevada back to portland, maine... so we took our time and made time to sleep, a much better experience!
