Now that the event is over I have time to work out how to do digital pachinko. 8D Oooor if the event's before I go back to school, I could always do it with my pre-made pachinko board. 8D *Mai is excited*

By event I mean Celes Paradi, where I will test-drive my pachinko version.

Hehe, I liked the casino idea so much that I played around in the DAC to make a casino worker avatar. I'm happy with the way it turned out, but I just don't know what would be a good item to put in it's hands.

Hmmm... For some reason I'm thinking of combining Pachinko with a version of raising and battling creature-monster-things. Or thinking of dumping pachinko completely and going with the raising and battling creature-monster-things.

I am not sure how this would work. At all. But I think it sounds awesome anyway. XD

@BBRose- love the outfit
The colors will probably be red, white, and black since those are the colors most often thought of for casinos. It would be really cool if we all had outfits with those colors but fit with our themes.
I wish we had cards on here. Maybe by the time it rolls around we will?

@Mai- hm... well it would need to fit with the theme and I'm not sure if raising monsters really fits the theme

I'll be gone for the next week myself, camping but I'm bringing a notebook with me so I'll start brainstorming out some details and try and do a mini task game to test myself on for the next event ^.^

Also, I was thinking about how to do prizes and stuff.

We could kindof make it like an arcade, where you can win "tickets" (or chips or whatever currency you want) for each game. Then, a central thread contains all of the prizes and the "ticket" cost of each one. It would be difficult since each thread host would have to update the ticket counts of the players to the "prize booth host" after each game, so each user has a sort of "bank" of tickets, but it could be really fun if pulled off right. Perhaps have an event mule to host the booth that two people can log in to, so we have someone monitoring the main thread at most times of day?

It would also be difficult if a lot of players played and got tickets and we ran out of prizes. O__O;;;

@Keyori: That idea would actually be pretty cool - but it'd be hard because we don't know what prizes would be wanted and what wouldn't be - like, we don't know what will be super popular and what will kind of just sit there.

Yeah, it's definitely not something simple. Maybe a limit for how many tickets each "booth" can give out a day? That way we'll know how many tickets to expect to be in the market...

well, if we did this, I thought the prizes would be really like any of the other times.
For example all the contests would have a 1st place, 2nd place, and third place. Some contests would need more prizes because of catagories but basically like that. Then they would all have the same general amount of tickets.
I think this would be the easist way.

The points (how much things are and how many points we give out) would be determind by what prizes we had.

But really this is something that would be best thought of closer to the event. Since we will have most of our prizes by then and know what kind of threads we will have. If everything is a game then that will be different then if we have lots of contests (like art).

Yeah, individual thread prizes is probably a better idea :[

Oh well. Maybe the staff will steal my idea for one of their own events xD
