@Alaunt- I've seen a few people holding them.
But I have a reason for not just joining one of those. I want to keep it in here, first off, to have a little something fun with the people working on this event. Also because this way it is closed off and I trust all the people who are involved not to get cheap.
I hate when people enter these things and buy the cheapest thing they can get away with.

Ok, I have updated everything.
I have been talking with some people and doing some thinking about the lotto.
Our plan was to just have the fan in it.
I really think we should add the hooch to it too as it is such a huge item. The low side is really low but I have seen many people willing to pay 50k+ for it.

I have also been thinking of adding all of the eggs to this thread (Welcoming/Lotto). This is for several reasons.
1. I don't want to have to send them out.
2. They make horrible prizes.
3. I do think they would make nice page prizes for this thread.
We have 75 of them right now. My idea was to give every post (but my own and the other hosts) on the first 2 pages an egg. This could change to more then 2 pages. And then to add a few to the actual lotto.

If these changes are alright with everyone then that would mean without the fan, eggs, and hooch in the prize amount we would get roughly 47k for the other 7 threads that need prizes. And that is at low value of everything.

What does everyone say to this?

edit: We have thought up a different plan for the eggs. Instead of adding them to the lotto I will give everyone in all of our threads and egg for every post on pages one and two. (other then our posts)

You are adding the eggs to the lotto? I am a little confused with that.

Well my plan was to have the Fan and the Hooch in the same lotto. And like Emma said draw first for the fan and then the hooch.

And with the eggs really I don't care what happens to them but I really don't want to have to deal with sending the eggs when I send out all the other prizes. It was so hard last time.

If you guys don't like the idea of adding them to the lotto then I would be just as happy use them just as page prizes.
Really I don't think there will be enough traffic in the lotto thread to just have them in there but I would be more then happy to give them out in other threads.
They would of course be given by Jack.
I could probably even do this in every official thread of the event. Give every post (but ours) an egg in all of our threads on page one and maybe two.

I think giving them out in the first two pages of each thread sounds like a marvelous idea :yes:
It'll be fast to give them out - and once that's done and there are still more left, we can give them out on the third pages until they're gone :3
But no, I think it would be a let down to get eggs for a lotto prize to be perfectly honest lol

I love that they will go fast and I could easily wait till all the threads have past two pages then send out all the eggs at once. And then it is totally random which is even better. ^^

And I agree, I would be kind of upset to win an egg in a raffle where you could have gotten such big items.

And I can easily buy more of the eggs to be able to do that.
hmm... if we have 10 threads and 30 posts in the first two pages then we need 300 eggs but I bet that we would only need like 24 eggs max per thread because of our set up. So that means 240 and we have 75 already.

I could just give them till I run out of them. Oh I know. I can buy all the extra eggs from friends and hosts so they get gold for their stuff and I get more to give away. ^^
Oh, and egg donations sounds like an idea too. Makes people feel good that their helping but not giving too much. ^_-
