"Why wouldn't they care about you?"She asked crossing her arms."I definietly know my family doesn't except my twin sister."She said."Well you can walk with me if you'd like,it is quite a long walk to my house."She said with a small smile."Sorry if i came rude just a second ago but....yesterday you seemed like you were mad at me...like i did something wrong....i can't even remember what happened..."She said putting her hands behind her back.
"I feel like im forgetting something really important....but i can't even remember.."She said."All i remember is i was taking Nancy out for a walk and then i woke up at the abadoned mansion."She said as she then saw nancy and picked her up."So i collapsed and didn't even take her home..."She said to herself.

At first hearing the question of why his family wouldnt care about him, he just stayed quiet for a few minutes and looked down at the floor. "They dont really care for me...they consider my brother the better one since hes older and more experienced then me...S..sometimes I dont even know why I live there anymore.." he said with his tone sounding a little more saddened.
Suddenly when he heard that Evan didnt remember anything from yesterday and what she did remember; he gasped and glanced over at her. She doesnt remember anything?! he thought, just hearing this gave him the obvious fact that she couldnt control or understand her demon just yet. This made him smile softly since that meant she obviously didnt mean to hurt him probably.

"then why don't you move out?"She asked."I ranaway from my home with my sister.My sister she doesn't come home all that often,she usually lives at a hotel because her job works her to the bone.i think they know what she really is which makes her pretty much like a slave over there."She said and sighed.

"Leave?....how can I leave? Where am I supposed to go?.." Hikako asked turning his head over to look at Evan. Hearing just the thought of leaving his house made him somehwat egar but at the sametime so angry that if he left; he'd be alone in this large forsaken world. "Beisdes, if my brother found out I left; he hunt me down and drag me back home..and who knows what will happen to me then.." he said with a little laugh of the thought that he'd get hurt. Even though he was a demon, his parents knew about it as well so they always knew how to hurt one easily since both their sons were hlaf-demons.

"Well you can stay at a friends house.You can even count me as a friend.Or a hotel..."She said."oh they would find you?they must be really good at knowing where'd you go."She said with a smile."well if i were you i would just runaway.but first i would have my savings i've had and go to tokyo or something far away."

Hikako just laughed a bit as he shook his head at hearing the fact of staying with a friend. "A friend?...y..your kidding me right?" he said still laughing a bit at the fact that he would have a single friend with him at all. "If I had a friend..then I wouldnt even have been here walking you home. I'd be at their house sleeping and eating." he said as he finally stopped laughing, it was so sad that he thought it was humorous that someone would ever be friends with a half-demon, but suddenly hearing that he could rely on her; his eyes widened for a moment but quickly as they widened they came down to be a sadenned expression. "Dont lie to me...why would someone like you..help someone like myself?" he asked looking away from her with a frown as he contiued to walk.

Evan stopped walking for a moment.Her bangs covered her eyes though."Because...you and i are similar then you know."She said in a whiserp."And if im not your friend fine then stop walking me home and go back to your own home!"She said a bit angerly.Evan was very sensitive.Evan then began to walk a bit faster then Hakiko.Stupid jerk what does he know!?

Suddenly hearing how Evan yelled at him, Hikako stopped walking with his eyes widened brightly. He stopped walking and stood still outside with his head lowered. "I..I'm sorry.." he said quietly as he turned around and walked in the exact opposite direction, he didnt mean to hurt her like that; but in a way he actually was just scared to ask her if he could stay with her rather then having to go home, but as he walked in the opposite direction he didnt bother to go home knowing his parents would be waiting for him just to torture him as they usually did when he came home so late. No...Not again. I'm not going back to that hell trap. he thought to himself clentching his fists tightly as he walked over into an allyway and sat down trying to see if he could get some sleep here.

When Hikako and Evan had that little fight they were in front of her house.She then slammed the door putting nancy on the floor and began to let tears fall down her cheeks."W-Why am i crying?"She asked herself as she pushed her back against the door.She sat on the floor her knees to her chest and her head burried into her knees as she cried and her tears fell onto the tile floor."im acting like a spoiled child....why am i making these mistakes...im pushing more people away than i already have."she said sniffling and wiping her tears with her wrist.

As Hikako sat in the allyway he suddenly heard a loud slam of someone's door as he quickly used up a little bit of his demonic power to change his eyes and looked up then all around only to see it was nothing. Being that he used his demonic form he knew exactly which house it was and frowned deeply; lowering his head back down between his knees he automatically knew it was Evan from how angry she was at him. When he suddenly tried to lay down he heard a little jingling in his pant's pocket as he reached in and pulled out about 60 dollars and a couple of cents. "Oh yeah...my brother's allowance." he said with a little small smile, remembering his brother gave him some money a couple of days ago; just in case he ever wanted to eat something he wanted on his own.

"I wish i could aploligize or explain my behavior but he is probably far from here..."She told Nancy as the dog looked sad cause Evan was sad.Evan stood up."I need to feed you don't i nancy?"she said as she took Nancy's bowel and poured her food into her bowl and gave it to her."eat up Nancy."She said cheerfully.

Hikako slowly stood up as he had the money in the palm of his hand and glanced down at it with a little sadness. He knew how mad Evan was at him as he couldnt stop himself from thinking about her and how stupid he was to act that way around her eariler. "I have to apologize...I cant live like this..." he said to himself as he ran out of the allyway and ran to the nearest flower store and bought a large bouquet of flowers that basically costed all of his money since it had all different types of flowers in it. Some of them were roses, a couple of white lotuses, sun flowers, etc.(cant think of too many flowers =/)
The owner of the flower shop asked Hikako why he was getting such a large amount of flowers as he looked at the owner with a deep frown. "As an apology..I hurt someone's feelings...and I'm giving them this as an apology." he said as the owner smiled and tilted his head handing him a blank card that had the words 'I'm sorry' in cursive and with two teddy bears hugging each other on the front. "Thank you..so much, sir." Hikako said running out of the shop and grabbing a pen that was on the counter to write into the card this:

'Evan...I'm deeply sorry for how I acted around you,
please forgive me. I didnt know what I was saying at the time. To be honest, I was just hiding what I really wanted to tell you. I actually wanted to ask you if I could stay with you, but I was just afraid that you'd reject me. Whether or not you forgive me or not, I just want you to know...I'm sorry..'

After writing it all, Hikako ran all the way toward where he had heard the door slam as he saw Evan's house and frowned deeply running up toward it and laying the flowers as well as card at the door step and ringing the doorbell once. Immediatly after ringing it, he quickly used his demonic power to jump away from the house and land on the another rooftop from afar to make sure he was only able to see her house and that he was completely hidden from her.

When Evan opened the door she saw no one.She was about to shut the door when she saw the flowers."their beautiful."She said and read the card.When she read it all she began to cry and feel like an idiot.She covered her mouth as she cried."im such an idiot."She said to herself."im sorry,im sorry!"She said.Evan was beating herself up.She held onto the flowers and the card wishing to apoligize now.

From a distance, Hikako could see how Evan at first was beginning to cry. The only way he was able to see from this far away was that he was using his eyes of a demon. He wasnt expecting this from her; he didnt know she was really going to cry that much. He began to clentch his fists, restraining himself from appearing before her and giving her a hug to stop her from crying. "Dammit...hold it together. Hold it together!" he said to himself, but suddenly seeing Evan hurt herself, Hikako's eyes widened as his concious couldnt hold him back anymore as he stood up and bolted toward her, jumping from rooftop to rooftop until he finally reached her home again. He quickly appeared in front of her, holding onto both her arms before she would hit herself again and frowned deeply. "Please...dont hurt yourself anymore.." he said with a whispering tone.

When Evan saw Hakiko her whold body froze.She then gave him a hug."im sorry....i didn't mean what i said."She said holding onto him tightly."you can stay with me if you want to...i wouldn't mind because i live alone."She said sniffling a bit trying not to cry anymore.She had scratched her own neck because she was beating herself up.

Suddenly feeling how Evan hugged him, Hikako nearly fell backwards as he frowned at first and looked at her with a little bit of shock still. "Ev...Evan?..." he asked, as heard her crying and sniffing, he slowly wrapped his arms around her and held her just as close looking at the ground behind her. "Theres no need to apologize....y..you did nothing wrong...I was just being stupid eariler...I should've thought about it before I decided to open my big mouth." He said with a quiet whisper. Suddenly hearing that she'd let him stay with her, his eyes widened once more as he began to smile and slowly had tears coming down his cheeks as well. "Th...t..thank you.."

Evan smiled."Your welcome...do you want to come in?"She asked.Leading him into her house and putting the flowers in a large vase for all the flowers to fit into."Well you can sleep in my room with my upstairs.my room is quite big actually."She said blushing a bit."feel free to take a shower eat and all that."

Hikako nodded as he stepped into Evan's home and stood in one spot looking around her home. It was so clean, it looked like he had just stepped into a miniture heaven as he glanced back at her when he heard her speak; hearing her say that he could sleep with her in the same room, caused him to blush a bit crimson red. "Umm...o..okay." he said with a nervous smile as he nodded and looked down at his clothes and saw how he was slightly a bit dirty. "Umm...you have an extra towel I could use?"

"yeah i always set new towels in the bathroom."she said with a smile."i should probaby bandage my wrist..."she said with a laugh and took a first aid kit out of the cabinets and bandaged her wrist up."their all better."she said."what would you like for dinner?we have all kinds of meat and vegitables.we can have stew if you want."

Hikako nodded with a smile as he walked toward the stairs and stopped when he heard Evan ask him what he wanted to eat. He turned around and shrugged his shoulders a bit. "Anything would do...just go ahead and make whatever you feel comfortable with making." he said going upstairs and beginning to look for the bathroom. Okay...which door is it...

Evan grabbed her apron and then got everything out she needed.But Before evan started cooking she yelled."Its the third door to your right."She said so Hakiko could hear her.She then began to cook her homemade stew.She added vegitables,meat and noodles.She then tried it."hmm....it needs more sault and a little bit of pepper."she told herself and grabbed the pepper putting a pinch of it in along with a pinch of sault.She then stirred the stew and began humming as she stirred it.

Suddenly hearing Evan yell out where the bathroom was, Hikako jumped a bit as he turned around and looked downstairs even though he couldnt see her. "Ummm okay! Thanks!" he yelled back with a little chuckle to himself. That was funny to him since they were in a house and they'd just yell at each other just because they were on seperate floors. He walked down the hall and entered the third room on the right like he was instructed and noticed how the bathroom was so clean and there were several towels folded nicely on a little rack on his left. "Hmmm which color?" he asked himself with a laugh as he just grabbed the top one which was green.

Evan tasted the stew now."Perfect!"she exclaimed and had two bowls onto the table with spoons glasses and filled each bowl with stew and she had a bottle of wine out in case he did drink wine.She had wine and a pitcher of water out."their that looks perfect."she said with a smile.She then raced upstairs to her room and got changed.She wanted to look very beautiful for Hakiko.She was starting to think...she really liked him.

After staying the shower for a bit and getting cleaned, Hikako soon came out fully dressed in the same exact clothing he was just wearing a couple of minutes ago since he didnt bring any extra clothing with him. "Thats better..." he said, running his fingers through his hair backwards so that the water would drip down backwards rather then down his face. When he came back downstairs he saw how there was food on the table and Evan wasnt here at the moment. "Evan?..where are you?" he asked looking around downstairs for her but couldnt find her anywhere.

Evan poked her head out of her room."Im In here."She yelled from her room.She accidently left her door opened a crack.Amazingly she could hear his voice.There was only one room that had evan's decorabled cute sign to let everyone know it was her room.currently she was putting her make up on.She wasn't exactly fully dressed and soon she would be getting dressed.
