"I've been out that long...sorry to have worried you all...again.I don't understand why he is after me.I know whatever comes out of his mouth is a lie."She said letting out a deep sigh."You both should go get rest.its about 8 in the morning."She told Derina and Hikako."I don't want you both to stay up all night with no sleep because of me."

When Evan had apologized for being out for so long, Hikako just shook his head with a smile. "Dont worry about it...everything that man said...it isn't true. We all know that." he said with a little stop in between his words when he remembered what Jonathan had said about killing Evan's new child would be for the better of the underworld; obviously Hikako wasn't about to let that happen, but just thinking about that, he realized that had to mean Jonathan was probably a servant of the devil himself. All of sudden when she told him that they should get rest, Hikako looked over at Derina for a moment smiling softly, patting her head. "Go to sleep Derina. I'll watch over you guys. I'm not even tired..not after what happened today."

Derina just nodded.She walked over to one of the chairs in the room and got a pillow and a blanket and soon she was fast asleep.When she was Evan just smiled."we need to figure out why he is after us.Or me.Or the baby.I know what he has been telling us is a lie.But i bet he is a servant for the devil.But why would the devil want my baby..?"She asked tilting her head.Nothing made sense to Evan.She placed her hand on her stomach rubbing it."There is no way in hell anyone is going to take our baby,I promise you that."

When Derina had walked over toward one of the chairs in the room to go to sleep, Hikako looked over at her with a soft smile seeing how she was wrapped up in a large chair within a blanket. So he just walked over toward her, putting Dernita down gently next to her sister as he got her under the same blanket Derina was wrapped up in. Once they were basically tucked in, he walked back over toward Evan's bedside as he frowned a little from hearing what she said. "He told me that he didn't really want the baby...but rather he wanted to kill him or her. Its obvious that he is working for the devil, though, he basically admitted it when I fought him." he explained nodding with a serious frown when she said that she wouldn't let anyone take their baby. "Yeah, I promise you...I will do whatever it takes to protect our new baby as well."

Evan nodded."Thank you Hikako."She told him with a smile as she sat up a bit holding her stomach as she sat up and took the mask off of her since she could breath normally.She smiled up at Hikako."i wonder....what the devil is planning.i know it can't be good.But what does killing my baby have to do with the devil.this makes no sense."

Once Evan had sat up on the bed, Hikako smiled softly at her as he placed one hand onto her back gently so that even if she felt like falling back, he could support her so that she could lay down slowly. "I dont know what the devil is planning, but whatever it is, I'm not about to let him kill our new child..its probably since he knows that once our child is born...she or he will become much more powerful than any of his demons."

Evan nodded."he is not going to touch a finger or well claw on my children.I will make sure of that.Once we go home i am going to work on some kind of potion to kill him.I don't want to run for my entire life just trying to protect my children and make my family feel safe again.I want them to live a happy life not a horrible life where we have to run for the rest of our lives just to get away from the devil and his servants.They will keep coming after us.Not just Jonathan but more demonic beings."

Hikako just nodded in agreement to what Evan said about how she would create a potion to kill the devil when they had gotten home. "Yeah, I'll help you with that once you get better, but until than Evan..try to relax and rest." he said rubbing her stomach gently to try and comfort her entire body, he was both afraid for Evan being killed along with the baby, but at the sametime afraid for their child since Evan could be in danger for having so much stress out of all of this happening. Thats why he wanted to do whatever means necessary to protect his entire family.

Evan nodded."I know..i wish this was less stressful.I do not want to loose the baby."She said placing her hand on Hikako's hand that was on her stomach."But if my condition does get worse.i mean not the condition i am in now i mean if i am pregnant and because demons and other beings attack and i get contractions early i think it would be best by then if i stayed in the hospital so i don't have an early birth and our baby could be pre-mature."She explained to Hikako.

"You wont lose the baby Evan..I swear, you wont." Hikako said with confidence yet at the sametime time; fear in his voice as he frowned a bit. He was really afraid of Evan possbility dying along with the baby for all the pain she would have to go through when she was going to give birth while all the stress was piling up on her. All of a sudden when she said that she would have to stay in the hospital if her condition got worse, he frowned deeply, leaning over, kissing her cheek gently. "Well...if you do get worse..and have to stay here..me and the twins will promise...we will always stay here. Right by your side." he whispered, smiling softly.

Evan smiled at Hikako and kissed his cheek back."Thank you Hikako.I really hope i don't loose the baby.I wont let it happen in fact.And i will not die when i do give birth.I will make sure i will keep fighting.For you..the twins and the new baby."She said with a smile rubbing her stomach with Hikako's hand under her hand."You..the twins and the new baby...you all are my prize and joy."

Hikako smiled softly along with a nod when he heard that Evan wouldn't die because she had him, the twins and for the new baby. Taking a little sigh of relief, he felt like a whole load was taken off his back from just hearing that she wouldn't die. "I can't wait till our new baby is born. What do you think we should name it, if its a girl? Or a boy?" he asked curiously shrugging his own shoulders at a lost for words, since he was never really good at coming up with names anyway.

"For a boy we can name it Joesph if you want.Or something else.And for a girl how about Mary Anne?"Evan asked looking up at Hikako.Evan enjoyed talks like this with Hikako.It made her feel happy.And proud to be a mother."I have a good feeling about this new baby.I can't exactly place my finger on it but i can tell its something good."She told Hikako as her voice sounded gentle and happy.

"Joesph sounds like a great name. So does Mary Anne." Hikako said as he smiled softly keeping one hand her stomach as he heard how she had a good feeling about their new child. Hikako just nodded at what she said in agreement. "I have a good feeling about it too, just knowing about how once you give birth to that child too, we can become one real big family." he stated firmly.

Evan chuckled and nodded."Yeah we will be a family of 5.Or even six if we have twins."She told him."Though twins does run in the family since i have a twin sister and Dernia and Dernita are twins.Our girls actually look almost exactly like my sister Steven and I when we were younger."She told Hikako as she smiled up at him.

Hikako laughed at the thought that their family of 5, could possbility become a family of 6 due to the fact that if Evan had gotten another pair of twins from her birth. If she had gotten that, than things would become even more confusing if they looked like both their older sisters too. "Hmm...having twins wouldn't be half bad, just the fact is we're going to have to make a lot more food." he said laughing playfully as he heard how Derina and Dernita looked like Steven and her, when she and her sister were younger.

Evan laughed."yeah your right.If we do have twins your going to help me cook."She said with a smile."Im going to teach you a lot of cooking techniques when i am out of the hospital.Derina has already learned how to cook by watching TV which i am amazed by.If she can cook i bet you can cook too."Evan said kissing Hikako's cheek softly."i hate how i have to stay in a hospital.You know i don't like the smell of hospitals."

"If you have twins..at least we'll have three people cooking in this house. You, Derina, and me." Hikako said as he laughed a little from hearing how their daughter had learned how to cook, he already knew she could cook because of that reason due to the fact that she had told him yesterday when she had made the meatloaf for dinner.

7 months later
After 6 months, Evan's baby bump was visible though her stomach was larger then any typical mother who was having one baby. Which meant Evan was having more than one baby. Though the babies have been trying to get out plus she still had stress since Jonathan and other beings attacked. She had to stay in the hospital in case the babies would come out. Both Derina and Dernita were in school they made quite a few friends.

Evan was knitting like she usually did. Even though she was in the hospital she felt safe int her hospital. She waited hoping to see Hikako and the twins walking through the door after he picked the twins up from school. Sometimes Derina and Dernita had brought friends to see their mother. Evan's long green hair was braided into a side pony tail onto her shoulder. Her hair had gotten so long. Though her green hair was no longer green but in fact dark brown.

Hikako at this time had been walking toward the hospital with Dernita's hand in one of his own while the other had Derina's hand. Both the twins were now about 14years old, but since they had spent so much time with their parents, they didn't really need discipline. The whole time they were walking, both the twins were smiling brightly as they both held onto pictures that they had to draw in art class today. Dernita had drawn a rose for her mother while Derina had drawn their entire family together as if they had taken a family photo. Both of them were really talented in drawing, so both the pictures looked so real. "Daddy?...do you think mommy will like the pictures?" Dernita asked looking up at her father when they made it to the hospital.

Hikako heard Dernita's question, as he turned his attention over at her smiling softly nodding. "Yes Dernita, I'm sure she'll love it." he comforted, patting her head gently as they walked into the hospital and began heading upstairs to Evan's room.
