College stuff is creeping up on me. :(
I have to crank out a 1,000-1,500 word essay in the next week and a half, as well as accomplish a boatload of school shopping and whatnot...

Also, my mom "broke" her ankle Wednesday this week. :lol: The doctors aren't sure whether it's a break or not, for whatever reason. People with medical degrees confuddle me. :|
But anyway, that's just another addition to the chaos. :gonk:

I'm also getting increasingly more and more nervous about college... :shock: I've waited to go to college for a gazillion years, yet... I'm just afraid of it, for some reason. And it just never seemed like the type of thing I'd fear.

That's a lot of words. :gonk: I have a while to go before college.

@facade: i think you just have the jitters cause it's a new experience... but i'm sure things will be fine when you get there! i went to a college 4 hours away from home, and i didn't know a single soul there... it was just how i wanted it, but i was scared of being alone... i had to accept that being alone isn't such a bad thing and when i became comfortable with that it was easier for me to relax and make friends!... i know you'll do well!!! :hug:

Kitteh didn't get nervous about college until... well, her first day of classes when she realized she didn't know what she was doing. :gonk:

I'm actually friends with this girl on Facebook who's going to my college... She seems neat. :) Actually kind of reminds me of you, Linn, only she's younger. :roll: LESS WRINKLES! :talk2hand:
:P Only one girl from my graduating class is going to my college with me, but I don't like her. Luckily, she'll probably cling to her roommate and only say hi to me when we see each other randomly. :roll:

And then I know some people who go there that graduated a year or two back, but... that's about it. Still, I'm hoping to transfer next year... Need a more urban setting, in my mind. :shock: Usually shouts "diversity" and not "suburban fever!" ... I don't like the suburbs. :(

But man, I'm just anxious. It's the same feeling I'd get when I went to away camps, I guess. :P Just being away from home for an inordinate amount of time is... Scary. I just hope I find fun people eventually. :(

Did French all through high school as well, and plan on continuing in college! :D ...Hopefully I'll eventually develop an accent to act all superior and Frenchy to people. :P

Kitteh didn't have a problem being away from home, I ran off enough and stuff that... well, I was used to it. But what happened was... well, I had actual responsibilities, and I have a problem asking people for help, and my mum never... really, I don't know. I had to find a job, work with schedules, and everything else. I was on my own, so it... was messed up.

I'm taking Spanish this coming school year, I hope to continue it throughout high school. People tell me that I should already know Spanish, because I'm Hispanic. I wasn't born with Spanish speaking parents. :gonk: It's not my fault.
