Viktor was frowning. "I am not getting landed with a kidnapping charge. If you want to stay with me, we'll be doing this legally. Since I don't have to work until five tomorrow, I could go home with you and stay there until everything's worked out--my apartment will be fine..."

"Please?!" He begged, "I really... Reallyyyy... Don't want to go back! I can't talk to them.." He frowned.

"I'll go back with you...I'll do the talking, if you want, but you have to help me, since I don't know them." It seemed Viktor was adamant about this. Though he was a shady character, kidnapping was not a charge he wanted to be landed with if he was caught.

"But ... they will know I snuck out... And then, Just leave me here?" He whined. Playing with Viktor's hair.

(Sorry, Cleaning.)

"You still have to go to school, even if I keep you here...and you need to stay in contact with your family for that to happen..." Viktor paused, thinking. "...What if you go home for tonight, and then I come get you tomorrow after school--give me directions there beforehand, of course. We can talk to them, then...and it won't seem like you snuck out."

"It's time for school... Goodbye." Alec through on some clothes, kissed him, and left the building.

(Hey, I am going to sleep, We can continue tomorrow.)

Viktor watched him leave, a frown on his face. He grumbled and began to clean up after them. Once he was finished, he got dressed and headed out to get something to eat.

It was a long day at school. Alec watched the clock, adn nearly forgot that Mr.White wanted him after class. He skipped.

When on the bus he watched the houses fly by. He frowned when he passed the club, It was closed, and all the flashing and neon lights were not on.

When he got home, His parents were waiting. They looked angry, Waiting on the end of the side walk, He got off, As soon as the door slammed, He had two adults screaming in his face.

"WHERE WERE YOU?!" His dad yelled.
"YOUR WINDOW WAS OPEN AND YOU WERE WHEN GONE WE WOKE UP!!" Said his mom, Jerking him against the wall.

He shouted, No one else was home. They had been drinking some more. They both to a punch at him, and walked away. He was laying on the floor, Sobbing in pain.

He managed to get to his room without anything else happening. He logged on to his computer, and typed in his name 'Alec'

Ding, He was in the chat room.

Viktor was online. However, he didn't send a message to Alec this time. It seemed he was still miffed about earlier. He really didn't want to get into legal trouble, not now.

He was, however, chatting with a bunch of his other friends.

Alec looked at his school books, He didn't look at who was online. He was crying, and he had to work.

He picked up his books and opened them, Waiting for a 'BiNG!'

After ten minutes' time, Viktor finally gave in. He sent Alec a private message.

'Do you want to come over to my place? We can discuss what you want to do about custody issues, if you really want to stay with me.'

'No. I don't ever want to see you again.'

Alec looked at it, And then sent it.

Frowning.

Viktor, in clear fashion of a typical stubborn ass, simply didn't respond. Instead, he went back to talking to the rest of his friends. It seemed like he just didn't care.

Alec laid down on his bed and looked over, He found a razor blade...

He walked over to his door, and locked it. Sitting on the ground, thinking about it.

Viktor didn't bother sending him any more messages. If he wanted to, he could reach him easily enough. He was just some kid--what did he care?

Then again, he'd always had a soft spot for teenagers with hard lives.

He looked at the blades closing in on skin. 'What is this going to solve?' He thought to himself, Tossing it into the corner.

He then looked at his books again, And decided to go over and study. He quickly grew bored, and looked at his computer again, He saw that Viktor hadn't replied, and closed the private message.

He dried the tears on his face and looked out his window.

Viktor signed offline in a few minutes. He was heading out to work--it was a block's walk from where he lived. He was bartending tonight instead of dancing, since the bartender had left for vacation early this morning.

(What should Alec do now?)

((I'm guessing he'd either notice Viktor was offline and decide to visit the strip club again, or do all of that, but also pack his things, determined to stay with him.))

Alec looked around, and closed his computer. He was tired, and he grabbed a bag, He packed his things, and wrote a note.

'NOT Dear Mom and Dad

I hate you both and I am running away. Do not come looking for me, I will come back and someone will be with me. He is the best thing to ever happen to me. I want to live with him.

He read it over and laid it on his pillow, Unlocking his door. He grabbed his bag and jumped out the window. He walked to with club. He was going to wait on Viktor, But Viktor was already there. He tossed his bag on the counter and smiled at him. "I am staying with you."

Viktor looked up at him--he was wearing a skimpy bartender outfit and had a string of fake flowers around his neck, so the party was raging already--from his glass-cleaning. He chuckled. "You reconsidered my offer, then? I told you, you can stay with me, as long as we get everything worked out legally. Then we can move the rest of your things to my apartment--your furniture is still at home...and your computer, right?"

"I guess. But I don't want to come here every night." He looked around at the grungy guys.

He turned back to Viktor and smiled widely. "Are you sure?"

"I work here, so I've got to come here, five days a week. I don't work on Saturdays or Sundays," Viktor hummed. Then, he grinned. "I'm sure, if you're willing to get the legal side settled. I can tell you now..." The grin faded. "If your parents don't sign over custody willingly, and inform the school district of the custody change...it'll be hard to get custody of you."

He looked at him, "You know this will be a big change?"
Smirking. and playing with his fingers. Intertwining their fingers and taking his hand,

Viktor rubbed Alec's hand, gently, in response. "I'm used to living alone, so it'll be a big change for me. Not sure how it'll be for you. You can come home with me tonight, but if your parents get the police involved, I'm going to have to give you back until the legal matters are absolved. Do you want me to help you confront your parents?"
