so i dated this guy for over a year and he ended up cheating on me and dumping me for this other girl. im kinda down right now and just out of curiosity i wanted to know other ppls opinions

This is a pretty shallow question ._. its probably a personality thing, and no offense but I think her make up is cuter.

And about the makeup I'd say you'd both look better without it, most girls look a LOT better without makeup but insist on putting it on.

Well i'm sure there is a reason behind why he did it. Its not always about looks, there are other things that go into picking a girl.
But i'd have to say you are prettier then her. Although i'm sure there is a deeper meaning that even you don't know about.
Maybe instead of doing this you should ask him why he did it?

I don't think it matters. She looks like a weirdo taking her picture in a random hotel, but anyone who cheats is just to awful to care about.

Seeing as how I don't know either person's personality, but either way, dumping is rather harsh... and the relationship should be reasonably and respectfully ended instead of harshly dumping them for someone else.

Fool is who takes shallowness over inner personality. It is his loss that he let go of you.
