It has been so dreary and cloudy lately that my mood has started to change with it!
And, I'm glad to hear you're doing well. n____n

Are you enjoying your summer?

summer doesn't really start here until school gets out and the kids still go until the 17th.

I forget that everyone ends later than I do. n____n;;
Even so, summer to me is always when the weather becomes nice.

I used to love to take photos of all the plants when I was little. I'd collect leaves and stick them in a book to flatten and dry them out. There are even a few flowers, too.

I'm sorry to hear you didn't see too much wildlife.

I used to press flowers in whatever book I was reading at the time. made it kinda fun when I would go back and read the book again and find a pressed flower.

It's a delightful surprise, isn't it?
I used to tuck money into my favourite books, too, strangely enough.

I tried that, but then I always ended up being broke and went and took it out.

Blegh, today is too rainy to enjoy the beach. Sand is getting stuck all up in places it has no right to be!

Hallo Peeblo.

It's been rather warm away from the beach. Wet sand is the best for making sandcastles with.

Building sandcastles is for dorks, y'know. Might as well do something awesome and cool if yer gonna be at the beach all day.

Well, you could always up-scale the sandcastle into some kind of sand fortress and declare war on other beach visitors.

Unless there's rock pools to explore, that's my favourite thing to do at the beach.

War? Hmm, sounds more appealing. But only if I can throw rocks into the rock pools. :ninja:

It's not very often anything washes up into the rock pools. Last time I just found lots of crab shells but nothing that was still alive.

Well that's no fun.

I wanna fight a giant octopus! Or a squid! Or Moby Dick! You ever see one of those guys on this beach?

Aww, I like cephalopods. Octopuses can squish themselves into teeny spaces like bottles.

Never seen a whale on a beach myself. Those dastardly do-gooders always come out in force to try and push them back with sticks.

Darn do-gooders! I wouldn't mind poking a whale with a stick, though...

Poking a whale with a stick would be all blubbery.

Hope you don't get any sand up your nose doing that, Wamakai. ^^
