I always wanted to go but it's too far away. I'm going to Youmacon in the fall though. I plan on having a few cosplays done by then at least.

haha I was gonna go...but I have no money. T_T For shame. My friends and I were all gonna do Teen Titans. :lol:

A TT cosplay group would be awesome. I want to get a group together but I doubt I will. I'm probably going by myself. =P

Aw..I've never gone to a con by myself. =/ Though...that's 'cause every time I've been to a con, it's been on someone else's money. I keep telling them I'm broke and can't go...and then they go buy the ticket for me and demand my presence. I had to be all angry and strict with them this time, or they'd have done it again for Otakon.

But, ya. We were super excited about it, too. Maybe next year. :gonk:

I went to Otakon back in 2005. It's the only con that I've ever been to. It was fun!

Congratulations, Sakura. I certainly know the feeling. <3 This will technically be my third year going, but only the second year I will actually be staying over night. Isn't it an amazing place? I mean, there are all the panels, premiers, retro showings, the game room, the dealers' room, all of the cosplayers...but what I love most of all is the sense of community. Where else can you play an essentially pointless game of Marco Polo with four floors of people who don't know each other? Where else can you yell out, "Butt Scratcher!" only to have a hundred other people echo it back at you with equal zest? It's just an amazing place, no matter what the haters say. <3

I really wanted to go this year myself. Unfortunately, I just wasn't able to scrape up the money to go. My friend Lee has gone twice, and one day, walking around in his regular clothes, somebody asked if he was cosplaying as Dog, the bounty hunter... It was freaking hilarious and every time he tells that story, all of our friends laugh. My first cosplay was Tuxedo Kamen-sama (also known as Tuxedo Mask in the USA.), and my second cosplay was Satoshi from D.N. Angel. I was really hoping to be able to do Gojyo from Saiyuki this year, but couldn't get everything together. I'm still going to finish the outfit though so that I can cosplay him anytime I feel like it! I <3 Gojyo.... Yay for the Pervy Kappa!

haha I think we will...eventually. But it won't be anytime soon. We're all going off to different colleges and such this year. ^_^"

I will finally be going for once even. Tried to a few years ago, but couldn't get in due to "fire codes". But this time, I pre-ordered tickets, and now some other poor flammable sap will be turned away at the door!

I didn't plan, so I won't be dressing up as anything. Maybe. The only costumes I have are of J-horror characters, which may or may not be relevant enough: y/n?

OH, and: For once, I won't be going with MY PARENTS, unlike those other THREE TIMES.

I wish that I could go to the closet convention that's coming up next weekend. But I don't have the money, time, and more to get all of that done. It took a lot of money to book a hotel, buy food, stuff from the convention, gas money, and more. But I wanted to go back to Ani-Jam to see my friends Roi and Rieka *o* (I met them there in '08 when I went for the first time >w>)
